Kitchen design with dark doors. Black interior doors in the interior. How to choose combinations in the design

The way the doors and floors look, what their condition, texture and color can say a lot about the house as a whole, about the character of the owners, about their tastes and preferences. Therefore, when starting repairs in an apartment, you need to carefully consider how you want to see all these elements.

Peculiarities

Once upon a time, a dark wenge-colored floor was the norm for any respectable apartment. Any person entering the house saw dark floors, which stylistically could be completely unrelated to the color of the baseboard, walls, doors and furniture, united by one color scheme or some other design concept. This state of affairs was standard and did not bother anyone. For some time now, when creating an image of an apartment, designers and ordinary people began to pay attention to the combination of the color of the floor and doors. Recently, the combination of light floors with light doors has become increasingly popular.

Light doors have their own characteristics, both positive and negative:

  • White and light, including doors, creates the impression of lightness and solemnity. Next to the white doors, even bulky furniture does not seem heavy, does not leave a feeling of tightness.

  • Light doors, unlike dark ones, fit well into almost any interior style. It is only necessary that the shade of the door leaf is combined with a shade of furniture, wallpaper and floor.

  • A white or light-colored door visually enlarges the space, which is very important in small rooms.

  • There are also advantages to the glossy light door leaf. It seems that there is more sun in the room with him. The effect of his presence is especially important in the gloomy space of the hallway.

  • If the walls are finished with materials similar in color to light doors, even a small room will seem large.
  • Of course, light-colored doors are easily soiled, but modern cleaning products make it easy to deal with this problem.

  • Compared to the door leaf of dark colors, white and light colors may seem frivolous and lacking in impressiveness. This simplicity and uncomplicatedness is compensated by the use of platbands of a different color.

A number of similar features have light floors:

  • With their help, you can increase the illumination of the room. This is especially important for small rooms facing north. Such a floor will add coziness to the room, with it it will seem larger and more comfortable.

  • A room with light floors is psychologically perceived as a place with a lot of air and lightness. To achieve this effect, you should choose a coating of beige, cream, creamy or light yellow shades.

  • The light floor will make the room visually wider. It should be borne in mind that if it turns out to be lighter than the wallpaper, the room will no longer seem wide, but tall.
  • The light floor goes well with any furniture, doors and walls. Against its background, dark impressive furniture will not seem gloomy and massive. A dark door against a light-colored flooring can create an advantageous contrast, which is sometimes necessary for certain design solutions. Light floors and doors will be an excellent duet, emphasizing the lightness of the whole environment.

  • Of course, compared to dark floors, light ones do not seem respectable enough. Many consider this a disadvantage, even if expensive white oak is used to create the floor.

So that light floors do not look cheap, it is better to choose matte materials, and not with a glossy sheen.

  • When choosing a light-colored coating, there is a risk of being "too smart" with its lightness and getting the effect that was not expected at all. Instead of a cozy atmosphere, you can achieve the opposite, so you need to evaluate all the nuances of choosing the future color of the floors in advance.

  • So, pure white color under certain lighting is strongly distorted. You can get an undesirable result when such floors take on yellowish or creamy shades in the light of lamps. It should be borne in mind that daylight and halogen lighting does not distort the color. If it is not, then in order not to create a yellowish tint, it is better to choose floors with a gray undertone.

  • On light floors, dirt is sometimes more noticeable than on dark ones, so it is recommended to select a light coating for rooms where the traffic is not very high (for example, for bedrooms and children's rooms).

Choose a color

The choice of color for floors and doors is determined by many factors: what design of the apartment is provided in general, what color wallpaper and ceilings should be in certain rooms, how light enters the house, and so on.

doors

There are a number of colors that are most in demand when installing doors.

  • White. This color is called universal for interior doors, because it is neutral, goes well with the whole decor of the room. It will not contradict any color of the floor, it will go well with any wallpaper and furniture. White is good for small apartments, which it visually makes larger. It is most beneficial to use a white door leaf in the hallway in combination with light floors. If you complement the interior white door with glass inserts (frosted or stained glass), it will take on an elegant look.

If a pure white door seems too brand to you, or you just don't like this shade, opt for a color that is very close to white (for example, ivory). Expensive door models are made from solid oak or ash, which look good in classic-style interiors. Oak gives the impression of quality. Ash doors will look refined and at the same time durable.

  • Grey. It can also be classified as universal. If there is a blue tint in this color, the doors will seem slightly cold, making the interior austere. Door leaves of a gray-beige hue, on the contrary, will fill everything around them with warmth. It should be borne in mind that the gray color visually reduces the space, so it is better not to install such doors in small rooms.

There is no place for gray doors in a room decorated in a classic style.

Combining gray with brown or black is not the best option, as for many it causes rejection. On the contrary, a duet with yellow gives the space an atmosphere of sunshine. The light gray door looks great in combination with white furniture, emphasizing its cleanliness.

  • Beige. Neutral color from the group of light brown. Its range of application is wide, but against the background of such doors, dark furniture will not look very advantageous. If you like this color and you cannot refuse it, it is better to complement the doors with skirting boards and platbands of the same shade. Beige goes well with gray or white, looks great in the company of grass color.

  • Gold. A door of this tone is chosen by people in love with sunlight. They will be delighted by the color of golden oak, which enlivens the space.

floor coverings

The colors of flooring are presented in the following popular shades:

  • Maple color. Of all the light wood species, maple is closest to white, although with a yellow tint, which is also called cream. You need to be prepared for the fact that the maple floor does not retain its original color forever. It will get darker over time.

  • Oak color. Oak itself is not naturally white. It is bleached with special means. After such a “handling”, you can get various shades of oak, from which the buyer will have to choose the color of the coating: from gray to warm cream.

  • Hornbeam color. There are certain difficulties in processing such wood, so hornbeam floors are much less common than the above options. The color of the hornbeam is whitish-gray. Floor coverings are found in off-white, pearl and sand shades.

  • Birch color. Birch is a very common flooring material in Russia. There are variants of white birch with a yellowish or pinkish tint.

Birch is also tinted, giving it the appearance of the most valuable species of light wood.

Stylish combination

In the apartment, you can use floors that are different in color and texture. Laminate, parquet and parquet board of various colors will get along well in one house, you just need to think over the transitions from one color to another, combining them with common elements - a similar wood pattern or a shade of “veins”. The combination of dark doors with light floors looks good. The door leaf may not match the color of the floor and furniture at all, you just need to choose trims that match the overall design in color, combined, for example, with the same baseboard.

A light floor and light doors, different in texture, nevertheless harmonize the space. In the room, light wallpapers and light doors should match each other in tone, but have different shades. From a practical point of view, the combination of light floors and doors in the room is more beneficial, as they serve for many years, and when updating the interior, the owners will not be limited by the narrow framework of combining these basic elements with this or that furniture and wallpaper. Anything goes with a light background. At any time, you can combine a light floor with dark furniture or, conversely, light, and a light door and the same floor with dark walls.

Interior accents

When updating the floor and doors, it is important to correctly place accents that emphasize the dignity of the interior. The beauty of the flooring and doors can be emphasized by furniture in the right color. It is considered good form when the furniture matches the color of the door leaf, and the door itself at the same time differs from the floor by a couple of tones. This technique is good for maintaining the interior in a classic style.

Great attention should be paid to choosing a skirting board of a suitable color, as they can perfectly complete the image of doors, rooms in general, and flooring in particular. It looks most impressive if you combine the floor, doors and baseboard with a single color. All the components made in white are well combined. Beige, gray or cream colors will also complete the look of the living room or bedroom. Contrasting colors of skirting boards in relation to doors and floors, on the contrary, emphasize the geometry of the rooms and mark the boundaries.

Sections of the article:

Dark doors in the interior of apartments can be seen quite often, but not everyone manages to harmoniously use them in the existing interior design. The palette of possible shades of dark doors is not so wide, and the risk of making a mistake when choosing the right color is disproportionately high.

The selection of interior doors for any room must be carried out taking into account the combination of colors of all interior elements. It is with this requirement that numerous errors are associated when combining doors with other furnishings. Dark doors are best suited for modern interior design styles, but there are some subtleties.

The combination of dark doors with a light floor

Playing on the contrast between light flooring and dark doors is quite an effective design technique. To further emphasize the contrast, architraves and skirting boards in the color of the canvas are used, while the interior impresses with its strict elegance.

The design solution "light floor - dark doors" can be called bold and a little daring, suitable only for rooms of a large area. The main emphasis is placed on the dark surface of the door leaf and light shades of other interior elements. If the color scheme of the room is varied, and individual elements of the interior are too bright, then it will be impossible to achieve the desired effect - the contrast cannot be achieved due to the apparent diversity of the situation.

One of the special cases of combining dark doors with a light floor is the installation of black doors in a light interior. This solution adds sophistication to the room and creates an original style. The visual effect can be achieved by combining with other elements of the interior. The floor of light shades also looks great in cases where the color scheme is the same, and the floor is only a couple of tones lighter than the door leaf. In this case, the walls are also made light to visually expand the space.

At the same time, it must be remembered that the contrast must be clearly expressed, otherwise the interior will look blurry and inexpressive. There is also a risk that dark doors will stand out too clearly in a light environment - the right choice of skirting board plays a big role, which must necessarily have a similar shade to the doors.

Types of combinations

Dark doors in the interior of the room, photos of which indicate the effectiveness of such a design solution, can be combined with other interior elements in the following ways:

  • Soft transition;
  • Achromatic contrast;
  • Full merger.

With a soft transition, dark-colored doors allow you to diversify the color range without sharp differences between shades. It is important that the canvas has a similar design with platbands, furniture, trim, various accessories with minor differences in tone.

Achromatic contrast suggests sharpness. In this way, attention is focused specifically on the door, while at the same time connecting it with any element of the interior. For a harmonious combination of all shades with a dark door, mostly neutral shades are used - white, gray, brown.

When fully merged, each decor element should duplicate the color of the door. At the same time, there are no sharp contrasts, and for interior design they are limited to only a few colors.

Combination methods

As an exception, dark interior doors in a light interior can be combined with certain elements of the room. We can distinguish the most characteristic and common cases:

  • With walls that use decorative inserts in dark tones;
  • With platbands that match the color of the floor or plinth;
  • With floor covering;
  • With furniture that has a texture similar to the door leaf;
  • With decorative elements, such as paintings in wooden frames;
  • With windows.

Black doors

The simplest and most harmonious option for using dark doors in the interior is to use black doors. Black doors, as well as white ones, are easily combined with any colors, but they look massive and too heavy.

The best solution for harmoniously fitting black doors into the interior is their combination with white and light colors with unobtrusive dark accents. For this, milky and beige shades in the decoration of the room, gray tones are perfect. To add brightness, you can use yellow colors, with the addition of orange and red. Greenish and lavender shades, blue tones will make the interior more calm.

All elements of the interior are linked to each other by means of skirting boards, platbands, decorative elements. Also, black doors look good in combination with colored textiles, bright accents in the design of the floor and walls.

Use of shades of gray

Gray shades of dark doors in the interior of residential premises are used much less frequently. Such design solutions are mainly used in loft, shabby chic, high-tech styles.

When using gray shades, it is important to achieve the right balance of tones. Gray color is extremely variable in shades, thanks to which combinations of various interior elements are possible. The most successful are combinations of various variations of light gray, as well as the use of white trim and light flooring.

It is not recommended to combine gray with black - this combination looks too rough, unlike the combination of gray with purple or blue. A successful solution is considered with the addition of bright shades to gray - green, crimson, turquoise or yellow.

When decorating an interior in a shabby style, a lighter palette should be used. For hi-tech, the ideal solution is to use a rich gray color, since the style itself involves the use of stainless steel and aluminum - materials that go well with gray tones. For rustic romantic country style, dark gray doors are used with a slight touch of wear. An aged door leaf goes well with a small cabinet or a massive old chest of drawers. One single interior detail allows you to harmoniously fit the door into the overall picture.

Color variations

When decorating the premises, it is not at all necessary to focus on interior doors only of a dark color. If the calmness of the interior is not to your liking, then the best solution is to add small bright inclusions that attract the eye.

Nowadays, there is a huge range of doors, and therefore there are no difficulties with the choice of color models. The only significant limitation is the need to adhere to a certain range, both deep and saturated colors, and muted ones.

When choosing, pay attention to the following color options:

  • Plum;
  • Blue;
  • Emerald;
  • Burgundy;
  • Violet;
  • Dark olive.

Each of these colors fills the environment with colors and is ideal for rooms decorated in modern or fusion styles, especially for spacious studio apartments.

The optimal combination of colored doors is obtained with textiles and furniture. For additional highlighting and focusing on furniture, white and dark inserts are used, for example, trim, wallpaper, flooring.

The best solution for darkened colored canvases can be called the use of different facings for each side. This allows you to perfectly match the design and style for each room, while maintaining the overall style of the hallway or corridor.

The dark color of the door leaf can be diluted with light shades by adding an original pattern to it. The most popular solution is to apply a 3D ornament, which can also be combined with textile elements using exactly the same tones and decorative elements.

The combination of light doors with a dark floor

The combination "dark floor - light doors" is often used to create an interior in black and white. This combination emphasizes the clarity of lines and the expressiveness of each element of the decor.

The combination of light doors and a dark floor fits perfectly into both classic and minimalist styles, and is widely used in country style. The harmony of the combination of these tones allows you to create an integral complete composition.

Dark-colored interior doors are often used to create a noble interior and emphasize the advantages of the room.

Advantages:

  1. look stylish, suitable for any interior, are universal;
  2. practical solution, they are not easily soiled, do not require careful maintenance;
  3. have a presentable appearance, come from solid wood or under its imitation.

Among the disadvantages of a dark coating, it should be noted that dust is clearly visible on it and there is a chance to make the room gloomy if the walls and interior items in the room are the same.

The photo shows the entrance hall of a country house, where all the wood trim and laminate in shade matches the color of the front door.

Floor color selection rules

The combination of the color of the floor and doors can both emphasize the advantages of the room and make it visually unattractive. For each room, depending on the size, the presence of windows and the degree of illumination, you need to select a specific combination option.

dark floor

Dark flooring and dark doors in the interior can be the same shade or different. For this combination, you can use light furniture and a ceiling to avoid a gloomy feeling. High and white ceilings, a large window allows you to combine not only the floor with the door, but also furniture and walls.

Dark laminate is suitable for dark doors, provided that the wood pattern is the same, the shades may not be combined. In order to visually separate the floor from the doorway, you need to put a white plinth.

The photo shows a combination of black doors and dark brown flooring, which does not make the hallway gloomy, but fills it with triumph.

light floor

This combination is common, and the doors can be the same shade as the furniture or walls. In a light interior, dark doors will become an accent, which can also be emphasized with dark architraves or skirting boards. The white floor must be carefully combined, as the dark color will create a bright contrast.

In the photo there is a bedroom with pastel plain wallpaper, white trim that matches the textiles, and a dark brown door is an accent.

The role of skirting board color

The color of the plinth, in addition to the decorative function, also favorably emphasizes the doorway. The choice of shade depends on the color of the floor, walls and the shade of the door. The selection of such important details is significant for creating a unified interior.

Light baseboard

A light baseboard with a dark door can be combined with any color finish. A light border will smooth out all the bumps, while a white plinth is most suitable. The plinth can be matched to the tone of the floor.

The photo shows a combination of a white baseboard with a dark brown door, where the baseboard looks organically with the beige walls of the bedroom.

Dark plinth

A dark baseboard with a dark door is suitable for light walls and a dark floor, or for a light floor and dark walls. This option is suitable if you do not need to visually highlight the doorway.

The choice of wallpaper for the walls

It is necessary to select wallpaper rationally, based on the specifics of the room and its dimensions. White, beige, yellow, light pink wallpapers make the room bigger, and the dark door is not lost, but rather stands out.

Wallpaper can be smooth or patterned. For the hallway and kitchen, it is better to choose more durable vinyl wallpaper, for other rooms, non-woven or paper ones are suitable.

With dark wallpaper, the doorway will merge, so if the goal is to disguise it, then you can combine the color of the walls with the doors.

Bright wallpaper will become an accent that dark doors will not interfere with.

Matching with furniture

Light furniture

A dark doorway is suitable for light furniture, in this case it is a contrast and a bold color transition. This combination is most often found in modern styles. You can choose the deepest shade without fear of spoiling the visual perception of space.

In the photo, the dark brown door organically fits into the interior of the hallway with white furniture, where black fittings are used for visual balance.

dark furniture

Dark doors in a dark interior will look interesting if stained glass or glass is inserted into the door leaf. They are difficult to combine with a dark interior, while the room should be at least medium in size. Furniture should be lighter or darker than the doorway, then you can create a chic style.

Materials for the manufacture of doors

Doors are made from solid wood and materials derived from it using different technologies. Conventionally, they can be divided into wooden and pressed.

The photo shows sliding doors made of solid wood in a strict style, which look stylish and unusual in the interior.

Wooden ones can be solid or with a double-glazed window. The price depends on the type of wood and fittings. The array can be solid or glued (glued board). Pressed canvas can be veneered, made of chipboard, fiberboard boards.

For a visual increase in the space of the apartment and more lighting, doors with glass are suitable, which can be transparent, frosted or dark, depending on the room.

In the photo, all interior doors with frosted glass and a pattern on it. This solution is suitable for rooms of any size.

Color selection rules

Black

Black doors look massive, but at the same time stylish. Suitable for bright interiors under white or milky walls. You can also use bright finishes and decor items. Red or yellow architraves will enter the door into the general interior.

The photo shows an ensemble of black doors in a white narrow corridor, where white wall decoration, decor items and additional lighting make it festive.

Dark grey

Dark grays are rarely used and are suitable for modern interiors. They can be combined with light gray furniture, white ceilings and architraves. Do not combine gray with black.

Dark brown

The dark browns of dark oak, walnut and wenge are the most common. Wood imitation can be achieved using veneer or PVC plastic sheeting.

The photo shows a wenge-colored doorway with dark glasses, which are installed in a light pink room, where dark skirting boards and trim draw the line between the floor and walls.

The dark walnut looks light enough and does not hide the space. When installing the door leaf and the floor, it is better to make the same direction of the wood fibers in the figure.

Styles

Classical

For a classic interior, a blind door with carvings and solid wood panels is suitable. Suitable for a small room with a glass insert. Lush fittings, gold inserts, floral patterns are typical of the Baroque style.

The photo shows a classic bathroom interior in white with beige tiles, in which a black blind door acts as a contrasting accent.

Modern

Cheaper materials are suitable for a modern style. There is no emphasis on the doorway, so wavy lines, a complex pattern and intricate inserts are inappropriate here. High-tech doors should be simple, glossy, with an insert.

In the photo there is a corridor where, to increase the space, the walls are painted in different companion colors, but the doors are selected in the same modern style.

Photo in the hallway and corridor

There is often no window in the corridor or hallway; this is a small room that needs to be visually made larger. For wall decoration, it is better to use light-colored vinyl wallpaper or other finishes, such as plaster or paint.

The following colors are suitable: white, beige, sand, light gray, pale green and pink. Entrance and interior doors can be the same color, or the entrance should be darker. Also, for more space, the interior can be with a glass insert.

The photo shows an example of how you can choose the color for the entrance and interior doors of the corridor, where they are made in the same style, shade and equally complemented by dark trim.

Living room, kitchen, bedroom

A dark door in the living room will be combined with burgundy, green, gold, beige interiors in a classic style, as well as beige, white in a modern interior with bright decor elements. If the living room has two or more windows, then it can be made completely dark without fear.

Dark doors are suitable for Scandinavian and modern bedroom interiors. If the interior is dark shades, then it is better to choose light furniture in order not to overload the space.

The photo shows light brown doors that are in harmony with the laminate and textiles in the bedroom.

The door in the kitchen performs not only an aesthetic role, but also prevents the penetration of odors into the apartment. Suitable for a white kitchen set, combined with pastel, bright and natural colors. A great option for a spacious kitchen and a medium-sized kitchen. Pollution is not so visible on it, which is important for every hostess.

And yet, despite the simplicity of such a decision, it is important to take care of harmony and. That is why it is worth familiarizing yourself with all the options for materials and colors.

To create modern doors, the following types of wood are used:

  • Ormosia is an endangered species of trees that grows in the New Guinea region, as well as in the Philippine Islands. A very valuable breed, because products from it are expensive. The design often uses stained wood that mimics ormosia, due to the goal of protecting an endangered species.
  • Paduk - this type of tree grows in West Africa. The sapwood of such wood has an interesting or. On a log house, a tree changes color very quickly, acquiring. It has a very strong structure and perfectly tolerates various weather conditions.

And these are not all types of wood used in design. Depending on the tree you choose, the color of the product will also vary. But many varieties are very rare, and some are even on the verge of extinction. That is why the technique is widespread in design. staining doors in a particular shade, which significantly reduces the cost of the product.

Dark doors in the interior

Dark doors in the interior are not only the trend of the last season, they are a classic that no one can overthrow from the pedestal. And yet, as in the application of any design tricks, when installing dark doors, it is worth considering the basic principles of color. Of course, if you do not want to harm the harmonious atmosphere and atmosphere of the house.

Application in the interior

Recently, at the peak of popularity - spectacular. One of the main advantages of this trend in design art is the use of different types of wood. This style welcomes the plasticity of lines, as well as their diversity, but in no case does it accept a combination of many shades. That is why a combination of dark wood doors in a light interior can be an excellent solution for many.

Advice! If you decide to create your interior in Art Nouveau style, you need to know that this style accepts the use of only natural wood shades. Even if you can’t use expensive wood in your design, paint it in a shade of natural dark wood.

Often there is a design and bedrooms in dark color. But psychologists, along with designers, say that this combination greatly affects the psyche of the person in the room: the heavy dark color “presses” and creates discomfort. That is why, if you are convinced that your room needs a dark door, think about how to create a favorable light range in the house. Dark doors in a light interior are an excellent solution for those who want to place the right accents in the design of their apartment.

The combination of dark doors with the floor

Using a light floor and dark doors in the interior, you will get a much-needed contrast effect. But it's important to pay close attention to the details. Avoid variegation in the overall color combination. An excellent solution would be to match the tone of the door leaf, because it is necessary to draw a connection between the main accent and the overall color of the room. Such an exquisite combination will serve as an excellent assistant in the problem of expanding the interior space of the room.

Dark doors in the living room and bedroom

The best option when choosing the main color in the room is the selection of shades of wood furniture and doors. This leaves behind the risk of failure in the design field. After all, playing on contrasts requires a professional approach. That is why it is important to evaluate the volume of the room as a whole. Large rooms allow you to accelerate in the play of tones. But if your room is small, you should give preference to a contrasting combination or harmony of the floor and door. Light floors are guaranteed to turn your room into a light space, and a dark door, as it were, clearly outlines the exit from it.

Black interior doors in the interior will not look appropriate in every apartment. This is a very strict, elegant and solemn color, a subtle design move. Such doors are well combined with both light and dark walls. But in the first case, they will definitely require you to select the right furniture and accessories. In the future, pay attention - in all the photographs that we will consider, the interior must have a similar shade - black or chocolate. If they can practically stand apart, then the number will not work with Black.

  • colonial style
  • Modern style
  • Classic style

  • Black + black
  • Black + black and white interior
  • Black + blue + pink

"Styles"

It's easy to imagine in any apartment - but pure black is not such a trivial choice. Wenge-colored doors are usually chosen by lovers of classic interiors. Indeed, this shade looks very stylish and expensive, does not require special support, sometimes a dark brown color is enough to become a pair. But we offer to take a look at the radical solutions with black doors in the interior, and perhaps take note of something.

"Colonial Style"

  • Heavy lacquered bi-fold doors are suitable for a traditional or colonial style that is rich in detail, sophisticated and a bit gloomy. The colonial style calls for lots of dark, shiny furniture, so dark chocolate doors are the perfect layout. If the red-brown warm tone prevails in the interior, as in the illustration below, add black in accessories. Primitive shiny lampshades play the role of accents, shading the dark door - their similar symmetrical arrangement looks especially impressive.

"Modern style"

  • Modern style with a reference to minimalism accepts doors of any color, as long as they fit organically into the color palette. A white door could have been included in this interior, but the height of the ceilings and the presence of a dark chest of drawers allowed the owners to take a bolder step. Please note that dark doors do not look cold and inhospitable even surrounded by light walls and warm walnut floors. It's all about the delicate treatment, when black doors are covered with matte, not shiny varnish - this way they look more velvety and pleasant. The choice of handles is also significant - not sparkling strict chrome, but brushed brass.

"Classic style"

  • Contrary to fears, black colors can look great even in rooms built entirely on light shades. But for this to work, the dimensions of the room must be really rather big - this technique looks most impressive in living rooms, dining rooms and spacious kitchens.
  • Of course, in this situation, the floors should not be too light - it is allowed to use brown, in a tone not lower than medium. As you can see, the delicate beige color of the walls, silvery furniture and golden textiles are not a hindrance to black. Of course, it's all about quality support. Its role in the interior is played by a fireplace portal, located neatly between two black doors, and a black edging of the carpet, extending into the center of the room. Thus, the far wall does not look overloaded.

"Combinations"

After analyzing the styles, let's move on to more practical examples - consider interesting color combinations with black doors. The owners are usually not afraid of repairs - any shade of the walls will look great with them. Is this true in our case?

"Black + black"

  • Before you - a monochrome combination for the daredevils! Although it looks very impressive, few people dare to decorate their interior in this way, except perhaps the true lovers of black. Please note that it does not merge with the wall - the difference in textures saves us from an optical illusion, and there is not much pure black in the room. A thin stripe on the wallpaper alternates with gray, the floor is dark brown, like the carpet, the light green sofa distracts attention. The lacquered black door in this environment has a vintage look, making the style look retro.

"Black + black and white interior"

  • We considered a similar example in an article about white doors in the interior - but there preference was given to light doors. Here the situation is different - the self-leveling black floor dictates the rules of the game. The interior is built on the principle of a gradient - from below the dominance of black, which gradually flows into an equal ratio with white, stopping in a snow-white ceiling.

  • The most effective technique is to use a black door in combination with a checkerboard floor. So that this alliance does not look too binding and strict, the designers came up with the idea of combining it with rough plastered walls or brickwork.

"Black + blue + pink"

  • Anthracite doors look great surrounded by bright, almost acidic and neon colors. If you want to curb the loudness of the latter by making the scenery sound quieter, strict dark doors will do the job with brilliance.
