Friends, contrary to common misconception, happiness is almost independent of external circumstances and phenomena. Happiness is within us.

In other words, no one and nothing outside can make us happy. And even if it does, it will not be for long, since often we simply do not know how to preserve and increase our happiness.

So how do you become a happy person? How to keep happiness in yourself forever?

How to become a happy person?

Here are five simple tips to follow to make you much happier. SIZO guarantees that the application of just one out of five points in practice can radically change your life for the better. What happens if you take all five steps? Try it and you will be amazed at the change in your life.

Wonderful illustrations for the article were made by the artist Alisa especially for our site. Alice, thank you, your creativity makes the world a better place 🙂

Friends, are you ready? Then we begin our journey for happiness. Let's try and walk this path to the end. After all, our happy life is at stake!

How to become a happy person? The power of optimism lies primarily in the fact that the optimist takes control of life into his own hands. "Everything that didn't happen is for the best !!!" - this is the motto of a person with an optimistic outlook on the world. And this is the right approach. For the optimist sees new opportunities in any difficulties. And not only sees, but uses them to his advantage.

We ourselves determine what lies ahead. It all depends only on our attitude to what is happening. If we interpret problems and troubles as new opportunities and prospects, then this is how it ultimately comes out.

And vice versa: if because of some difficulties we plunge into the abyss of despair, then in the future the situation only gets worse. The negative becomes more and more, life turns into a solid black stripe.

The fact is that the world always agrees with ... If we believe that only good awaits us further, then it will be so, the world will take care of it.

If a person is infected with pessimism, then the world will certainly throw up situations that will allow him to say: "Well, I said that nothing will work out, that everything will only get worse!" Friends, we get what we believe in. So why set yourself up for bad things if it is meaningless and even destructive?

Optimism is the key to happiness.

By looking at the world with optimism, we are tuning in to the frequency of a happy life. It's like a radio: in order to hear what we want, we need to catch a specific frequency. So, when you catch the optimistic wave, dear readers of SIZO, you will be simply amazed at how much your world will change. Everything around will testify that your life is filled with happiness.

Please make no mistake that becoming an optimist is difficult. Even if you are now an inveterate pessimist, everything can change, and you yourself will not notice this transition. Swiftly or gradually, but you will definitely become an optimist if you want to.

In fact, our pessimistic or optimistic attitude towards everything that happens is just a matter of choice. It's just a habit. The habit of reacting in one way or another to external stimuli.

If we realize that optimism makes us happier and pessimism makes us more unhappy, then everything falls into place. What kind of desire for masochism does one need to possess in order to know this and be a pessimist? Doesn't fit in my head! However, there is no fault of a person with a pessimistic view of the world. It's just a bad habit that you need to get rid of. A is to replace it with a useful one. In our case - optimism.

Let the statement "Everything that is not done is for the better!" will become your motto. Purposefully find the good in the bad, but rarely pay attention to the bad in the good. Be happy, friends, and illuminate the world around with your happiness.

How to become a happy person? Give thanks often! A happy person is experiencing. Otherwise, he will not be happy (everything is so simple). When we feel grateful, our brains release substances that make us feel happy. But this is not only a matter of chemical processes.

To give thanks means to give good. Radiating gratitude into the world, we attract more people, events, things into our lives that are worthy of our gratitude. It turns out such a pleasant vicious circle:

As with optimism, we find ourselves on the life lines that our attention is focused on. If you concentrate on all that is good, feeling grateful, then this good automatically becomes more and more. Which, in turn, significantly increases our level of happiness.

It seems to be common truth, but how many people are around who do not know this or do not want to know? We are running after happiness, but it constantly slips away. And we don't even know that happiness is always near. It was, is and will be. We just don't notice it.

In order to become a happy person, you just need learn to appreciate what is at the moment... Even if everything seems to be worse than ever, find those little things that make your life better. They are definitely there, you just have to look closely. Now, when you find them, just try to feel grateful that they are.

The more often you notice and appreciate these little things, the more there will be reasons for gratitude in your life. Gradually, these little things will turn into something that you cannot even imagine now. Dreams will come true, goals come true - you will get everything that previously seemed unattainable. And then, perhaps, you will remember how it all began. And say, "Thank you, world!"

How to become a happy person? Use your best qualities! Each of us is unique and has our own talents and inclinations. I emphasize - each of us! You just need to understand what exactly you like in this life. By applying your skills to what you are interested in, you will undoubtedly achieve a result. Nobody promises that it will be quick and easy. The point is different. When you find a hobby to your liking, or even, then your work necessarily begins to enjoy popularity and arouses genuine interest in other people. You will become not only a happy, but also a successful person.

There is not so much that in the world. Therefore, the result of your labors will undoubtedly be appreciated, this is a fact.

Isn't that happiness? Doing what you love that ensures a decent life - what could be better?

I would also like to emphasize that in the first place should be put exactly the case to your liking, and only then money matters. If you choose an occupation for yourself, assessing first of all the profitability of the activity, and only then your interests and skills, then the more likely you will become another squirrel in the wheel and spend your life on something that is alien to you and even disgusts you. Therefore, dear readers of SIZO, first of all answer one simple question. What would you do if you didn't need to make money?

Using your best qualities is the shortest path to happiness. The main thing is to find them in yourself. Find and let it unfold to the fullest! And then it will become clear and understandable why you are here.

Finding your destiny is happiness.

We are all geniuses. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its entire life, considering itself a fool. (c) Albert Einstein

Don't let other people's judgments lead you astray. Say, it's stylish, it's prestigious, and what you do is futile crap. Nonsense!

The main thing is that you yourself discover your best qualities and actively apply them in practice. In this case, success is inevitable. And there is no need to talk about happiness - it will be with you all the time.

When you use your best qualities to achieve your goals, then you find amazing harmony in life. So find these qualities!

Guys, here are a couple of helpful articles on how to find your goal:

May this help to reveal and use our best qualities for each of us.

Enjoy the little things. How to become a happy person? Learn to enjoy the little things, that is, notice and appreciate those moments that most people will not pay attention to. After all, our whole life for the most part consists of simple little things. Paying attention to them makes us happier.

If a person believes that happiness can only be built from huge boulders (great joys), and ignores small bricks, then most likely this construction will never be completed. It will turn out to be eternal unfinished.

If you rejoice in the little things, enjoy every moment, then such a construction will go much faster. Moreover, you will be "in the know" - communicating with small suppliers of bricks (rejoicing in the little things), you will get access to large suppliers of happiness. You yourself will not notice how you live a happy life!

In other words, paying attention to pleasant little things, we get:

  1. A feeling of happiness here and now, which will always warm us.
  2. The prospect of getting everything that can make us happy on a much larger scale.

Therefore, the ability to enjoy the little things is not only pleasant, but also beneficial. So let's take advantage of this and appreciate what is.

Do good. How to become a happy person? Do good deeds and show mercy, and you will feel a surge of happiness. Yes, doing good is pleasant in itself. But beyond that, there is a great bonus: our good deeds tend to come back.

There is only one caveat. Do not do good while expecting a reward. If you are motivated only by self-interest, then you will be disappointed.

Typically, doing good is a long-term investment. And it is far from a fact that the person to whom we are doing good will answer us in kind. And if he does, it’s not a fact that he will immediately and in the way we want it.

In fact, we cannot know when and from whom we will receive good in return. Therefore, you should not hysterically demand a reward for your actions. Do it and forget it. Someday your good will surely return to you. And you will feel happiness from the good deeds you have done right now.

The golden rule of morality is: “ Do to others as you want to be treated to you.»This rule is known in the religious and philosophical teachings of the East and West, it is the basis of many world religions. What does this rule teach us? It's simple.

Giving the world good, we get the same from it. And in order to be sure whether we are giving the go-ahead, we should initially try on such a gift for ourselves. Would you be pleased to receive this? Would that make you happier? If yes, then act, create, help!

CONCLUSION

The article speaks about the same thing from different positions. Everything we do comes back to us. If we show optimism, feel gratitude, use our best qualities for the good of the world, rejoice in little things and do good - then you can be sure that all this will return in multiples.

It really works. Just start putting these tips into practice and you'll see for yourself.

Be happy! And please share this information with your friends.

How to be a good person and make friends What matters is what you do now A man is not a century old! How to become a long-liver?

October 23, 2014

Happiness is a very interesting thing. If only because each person perceives it differently. This emotion simply cannot be permanent. She easily comes and goes, so people are often interested in how to be happy... Some people have a black streak in life, while others just want to feel something warm and pleasant in their souls. By the way, in many cultures it is happiness that is considered the best emotion, since it unites many other feelings (love, care, etc.)

I thought that a lot of people would want to know more about this. Moreover, this information will remain relevant almost always (unless, of course, they invent some kind of electronic stimulator implanted in the brain). I analyzed domestic and foreign literature and found many ways, techniques and advice, supported by science. Here are 7 of the best ones.

Exercise more - at least 7 minutes a day

Exercise really helps us feel happier. I can say even more: in most cases, it is the absence of such a load that causes the presence of a bad mood for no reason. Many people don't exercise because they don't want to. Most popular excuse: " I'm running out of time". But there is a solution. It's not for nothing that you are reading this article about how to become happier.

Now there are many sets of exercises that take no more than 10 minutes, but allow you to use all types of muscles well. For example, the very famous Tabata technique. For many people, it may seem quite complicated, but you can always find the best option that will suit you. Analyze the options that best fit into your daily schedule. At the end of the day, just try doing morning exercises as you were advised to do as a child.

Exercise really helps you feel better. This is supported by experiments related to the treatment of depression. Sean Acora's book describes a study that involved three groups of patients suffering from various forms of depression. One group was given only medication, the second was forced to exercise, and the third combined the two. The results surprised even me, since I was not completely sure about the effectiveness of each of the techniques.

Despite the fact that everyone had a positive result, the final results are radically different from my ideas. Those who took only medication began to correct the situation, but within 6 months 38% of percent returned to their original state of affairs. People from the third group showed better results: only 31% of them slipped back into depression. But in the second group, where they were engaged only in physical exercises, this indicator was (!) 9 percent! This is really amazing. Girls from that group are unlikely to be interested in those how to be happy.

You don't need to be depressed to experience the benefits of physical exercise... Not only will it make you happier, but it will also help you relax, make your body more attractive, and even increase your brain performance. A study in the Journal of Health Psychology found that people began to feel noticeably better, even if they had no changes in their bodies. That is, you don't need to go to the gym and pump your muscles to become happier - you just need to do some physical activity at least somehow.

16 men and 18 women were divided into two groups and took the parameters of the figure, lifestyle and body weight. Then one group was asked to exercise 6 times within 40 minutes, and the other to read books during the same time. The studies that went after the test showed that there were no changes after reading the books, however, exercise brought really good results. So here is the answer for those who want to know how to become a happy person - just exercise more.

I researched this in a little more detail and found out what exercise does to our brains. In simple terms, they simply release more endorphins, which make us feel happier. This can be seen in the image to the right.

Sleep more - you will become less sensitive to negative emotions

Probably everyone knows that sleep helps our body feel better, rest from the physical, spiritual and mental stress experienced during the day. Good and healthy sleep allows the brain to focus better and be more productive. It turns out that this is another important component of our happiness. In NatureShock, authors Poe Bronson and Ashley Mariman explained how sleep affects our well-being:

Negative stimuli are processed by the tonsils; neutral and positive - the hippocamus. Sleep deprivation affects the latter much more than the former. If a person does not get enough sleep for a long time, he better remembers negative events. Pleasant moments are slowly erased, and bad ones, on the contrary, become clearer and more distinct.

Also known is one experiment in which a group of subjects were told not to sleep for two days and memorize certain words. The results were quite surprising: the participants memorized 81% of words that had a negative connotation, like "cancer" (read about) or "war". At the same time, only among positive and negative words, participants remembered only 31%. This proves once again that sleep strongly influences the happiness we experience. Just sleep more.

It is impossible not to recall an experiment conducted by BPS Research Digest, which was able to prove that sleep greatly affects a person's susceptibility to negativity. Scientists placed cameras in front of the workplace of employees of a Japanese company without prior warning. The research took about a week. The task was to determine what emotions each person experiences and to systematize the data obtained. So, those people who did not take a sleep break became much more sensitive to anger and fear by the end of the day.

TO
as you can see, the length and quality of your sleep directly affects your positive emotions. Of course, you should not confuse the sensations immediately after getting up and throughout the day. Surely in the morning you are very aggressive and negative, but over a longer period of time, this difference is noticeable. In the picture on the right, you can see how brain activity decreases during the day.

Try to move closer to work - a few minutes drive is more expensive than a new home

Our trips to work can have a surprisingly powerful effect on our happiness. In fact, the fact that we have to do this twice a day, five times a week and about 22 times a month throws a plus into the piggy bank of the credibility of this fact. Even if it’s okay at first, over time, stress and negativity will build up, making us less and less happy.

According to research by The Art of Manliness magazine, many people simply do not understand how negatively long commutes affect us. There are many conditions that negatively affect our long-term happiness. People are unlikely to ever get used to long and tedious work when there are more interesting ways to spend their time. As well-known Harvard psychologist Daniel Gilbert put it, "driving in a traffic jam is an example of the daily alternative hell."

As a rule, we try to compensate for this stress by having a good car to drive comfortably or a large house to rest in after exhausting work, but these compensation simply don't work. No need to say " i want to be happy " you just need to try to make your job and the road to it more attractive.

Two Swiss economists considered the degree of satisfaction with these compensations to argue that they did not work at all.

Spend more time with family and friends - will not regret on his deathbed

One of the most common regrets among dying people is that they did not communicate much with their loved ones. If you don’t trust enough that it really helps make you happy, let me present you with some scientific studies that prove this fact. Only then don't ask how to become happy and loved.

Chatting with family members is a very valuable time for you when it comes to happiness, even for introverts (people who prefer to be alone). Moreover, this largely depends not only on relatives, but also on friends with whom you would like to spend more time.

Daniel Gilbert, mentioned just above, explains it this way: “We are truly happy when we are surrounded by family, we are truly happy when we are surrounded by friends and many other things. We think other things make us happy, but deep down in our hearts we understand that they are not. " It is difficult to disagree with this statement.

  • A family;
  • Health;
  • Time;
  • Goals;
  • Friends;

Go outside more often - the temperature of happiness is 13.9C o

However, such statements were not only made by him. In one study, it was shown that 20-minute walks outside the fresh air can not only significantly improve mood, but improve memory function and also expand thinking.

This is good news for people with very busy schedules. Perhaps everyone can find 20 minutes. You can spend them during your lunch break or just walk from work to home. Research from the University of Sussex (UK) also conducted an experiment that showed the beneficial effects of outdoor exercise on positive emotions.

It was published in 2011. During it, the students were divided into two groups. One was asked to stay at home as long as possible, while the other, on the contrary, was asked to spend more time outside. At the end of the experiment, the second group felt much better. So if you want to know how to be happy without a manthen just try to spend more time outside.

Also, the American Meteorological Society conducted an experiment in which the self-awareness of people and weather conditions was investigated in order to identify the relationship. It turned out that people feel happier when the outside temperature is at around 13.9 degrees Celsius, a small warm wind blows, and the air is at an average humidity level.

Help Others - 100 Magic Hours

This advice is one of the most common in the psychological literature. I remember even a small quote like:

— When will I be happy?
—
When you stop thinking only about yourself and start helping others.

Well, perhaps that makes sense. Moreover, a person really begins to feel better when he realizes that his actions are of great benefit to others. By the way, many social programs are based on this principle. However, this is a topic for a separate article. If you don't want to miss new posts, just subscribe to blog updates.

Here is what Sean Achor writes about this: “Researchers interviewed more than 150 people. They were asked about their recent purchases, as well as the emotions they were experiencing at the moment. So, charity concerts and exhibitions of aspiring artists brought maximum satisfaction. At the same time, buying new clothes or equipment was more neutral. "

From all this, we can conclude that spending money on someone is actually more enjoyable than spending on yourself. Of course, if we are talking about voluntary donations and you know that you are helping people. As you can see, there are such ways to be happy... It was also found that non-financial help also makes us feel much better.

You don't even need to conduct experiments to see that volunteers smile much more often, are more sociable, are always ready to help and generally happier people. You can see for yourself if you find a real volunteer who has been engaged in this activity for a long time. Beginners will not be suitable, since many people like voluntary help only at the beginning, and for a long time only a few remain in this area.

How to be happy - smile more often

Even if you smile on purpose, you will still feel much better. Exceptions, perhaps, are only those situations when you try to please the person and smile through force. In this case, it is unlikely to cause you positive emotions. But in other cases it can really help you. Try it now - go to the mirror and try to smile for a minute. You will see, it will become a little easier for you.

In addition, smiling can help eliminate many negative emotions, including relieving pain. And on this, perhaps, it is worth finishing the article about how to become happy in life.

The concept of "happiness" is studied in psychology, philosophy, theology and even in the occult. Happiness as a phenomenon means satisfaction with oneself, one's life, one's life, in the end. Happiness cannot be measured in any quantitative terms. Happy can be a beggar, whose back is warmed by the sun, and unhappy can be a rich financier who is worried that he did not have time to invest money somewhere on time.

According to the International Happiness Index, the happiest people live in Costa Rica, Vietnam and Colombia.

Thus, we can conclude that it is not so difficult to accept happiness into your life. It is enough to look at your being from a slightly different angle of view and a person instantly turns from unhappy into happy. It turns out that Appius's words are correct. Only by volition can a person become happy. One favorable event can be replaced by another, but until a person is satisfied with the state of affairs, he will remain so unhappy.

Now to the question of how to achieve happiness? Since happiness is a matter of personal satisfaction, there is nothing to achieve here. You can write plans for achieving goals for a long time, achieve these goals, and as a result get a spiritual emptiness. On the contrary, you can look at your life in bright colors: there is a roof over your head, food in the refrigerator, there is a computer, there is a wife, there is a cat, after all. And then these facts can be rethought: half of the friends do not have their apartment and spend a significant share of their salary on rent. The poor people who sometimes meet on the street have much less food, and there is no refrigerator at all. I dreamed about my computer all my childhood, and now I have it, but for some reason it does not bring much joy. But there is still a TV with a hundred satellite channels (including sports), a mobile phone, a camera. About 15 years ago, all this seemed like a pipe dream. It was thought that there is only such a thing, and the rich. And now all this is available. Why, then, forgot to rejoice at all these acquisitions?

Not everyone has a wife. Several years ago I dreamed about this particular girl, saw the future with her as a happy fairy tale. Now this girl has become a wife, so why did the satisfaction of this fact quickly disappear? And the parents did not allow to have a cat. And now you can start it. Even a dog will not be forbidden to have.

Aristotle considered friends to be a blessing that a happy person should have.

Through such simple manipulations, you can find bright colors in any life situation. Even at the moment when everything is objectively bad, you need to try to find a ray of happiness and cling to it, trying to find more and more reasons for satisfaction in life. In such a positive state, one must look for more and more evidence that life is a happy fairy tale. And there will be confirmation, you just need to pay attention to them. For example, the salary was raised a little, an inexpensive vacation ticket was found, the road was repaired, and friendly neighbors settled nearby instead of rowdy.

Of course, there will be breakdowns. I watched the bad news on TV, someone scolded me on the social network, the dollar went up, the car covered me with mud. You don't need to focus on this. Gradually, you need to remember your dreams from childhood and youth. And implement them. Did you want to go to Brazil? Now the borders are open - I saved up money and go ahead. Maybe he wanted to become a hockey player? There is an amateur hockey league with real kits, regular matches and even fans in the stands. Dreamed of becoming a knight, as in one of the novels you read? You can join the club of reconstruction or role-playing games. There is no money now to realize some dream? You should not be sad, you can postpone until a more appropriate time. And an option for implementation may appear without the use of money. In this state of mind, one must spend his entire life. Then you can truly call yourself a happy person.

Deep down, every person dreams of becoming happy and everyone strives for this. But look around: how many happy people will you see? Here, in my opinion, there is a paradox: everyone wants happiness, but very few people manage to feel it in everyday life, not once, but regularly or even often.

At some point along the path to happiness, most people “crash”. In this article I will look at the reasons for these "failures" and suggest a strategy,.

As the article progresses, I invite you to answer questions so you can better understand your relationship with happiness. I recommend answering the proposed questions in writing - this way you can really understand something new about yourself and apply the psychological ideas described here to your life.

What is happiness

In my opinion, happiness is not only about emotions, because emotions cannot be constantly maintained at the same level. But you can arrange for yourself a certain lifestyle to live the life you want.

Reach out to yourself and think:

  • What is happiness for you?
  • What makes you a happy person?

Happiness is a feeling, you either feel it or not. To see the possibilities how to become a happy person, it is important to understand your personal concept of happiness. That is, first you need to understand WHAT you want to do, organize in your life, and then - HOW you can do it.

If you find it difficult to answer these questions right away, remember: When was the last time you felt like a happy person. Revive these memories, immerse yourself in them, feel the echoes of that happiness. And then analyze what made you feel happy in that situation. Perhaps what made you happy then will help you determine how to be a happy person now.

The feeling of happiness consists of your satisfaction in different areas of your life: family, work, friends, home, leisure, hobbies. Note that the feeling of satisfaction is purely subjective, it has no external criteria. What matters is what you feel and think.

For example, outwardly everything in your life looks great: you have a family, work, housing, your life is filled with communication with different people. But you do not feel like a happy person; on the contrary, you often feel sadness, depression, apathy. Other people may say, “What are you ?! Everything is good in your life! " You believe them, drive away your unpleasant feelings, but you still can't feel happiness.

In this example, it turns out that a person is guided by external criteria and other people's perception of happiness. But what is happiness for one person will not be happiness for another. The question "How to become a happy person" is individual and subjective, and only you yourself can give yourself a specific answer.

Here we come to the first important step on your path to happiness - to understand what you want. But this is not as easy as it might seem at first glance.

The answer "I want to become a happy person" will not work here, more specifics are needed. And your answers to the questions of the previous part of this article - about your personal idea of \u200b\u200bhappiness - will help you with this. Think about what you need to feel happy.

I want to live this way or "it should be so"

The first reason. From childhood, we are all told a lot about how everything should be ... Thus, people learn to adjust their lives to the way “as it should”, “as is customary”, “like everyone else”. But this path does not answer the question of how to become a happy person for you. It has nothing to do with your personality, and this is one of the reasons for possible "failures".

Refer to your answers to the questions about happiness in the previous part of this article. Consider whether these answers reflect your own personal viewpoint, or if they are more related to conventional wisdom about happiness. Pay attention to the emotions that arise:

  • How do you feel when you think about your happiness?
  • Do you get an emotional response and a desire to become a happy person ignites inside you?

Lack of vivid emotions is a sign that your answers do not fully reflect your personality. And then it is important to filter your personal desires and ideas from the "generally accepted" ones.

I know what I want, but I'm scared - suddenly it won't work

The second reason. You know what you want, but you are afraid to try, to take risks. You are afraid that you will not succeed. This state is illustrated by the saying "Better a bird in the hands than a pie in the sky." You persuade yourself that it is already good, but occasionally you still continue to dream of “how it could be different”.

It turns out that you have certain limitations inside you that prevent you from moving freely towards your happiness. You know how to become a happy person, but you don't act out of fear.

It's natural to try and fail. And really something may not work out the first time. When something doesn't work out, you can change the strategy and try to do it differently. But if you're afraid to even try change your life you are driven by irrational inner constraints.

And these restrictions can be checked against reality.

  • Feel what exactly are you afraid of?
  • What happens if all of a sudden you try and you don't succeed?
  • How do you feel if you fail?
  • What will failure mean to you?

Answer these questions and analyze how real your fears are.

Such analysis can lead you to understand your deepest irrational beliefs. For example, you may be afraid of making a mistake, feeling like a failure, or the potential catastrophic consequences of doing something wrong.

Try to relate your fears to reality. Think about how you can act if something doesn't work out the first time. When you imagine what you will do in different scenarios, fears cease to slow you down. And then you can freely begin to implement your strategy of how to become a happy person.

If at this first step you encounter difficulties in one of the options discussed above, this may be a reason to think, spend more time analyzing these difficulties or seek help from a psychologist.

On your own it can be difficult to feel and decide how to become a happy person for you: to understand your desires, get rid of irrational limitations and just believe in yourself. When I work with the topic of happiness in psychological counseling, I help you to gain access to your desires, to recognize the social stereotypes and obligations that affect you, and to replace the “interfering” factors with supportive ones.

In the next article, I will continue to talk about strategies for becoming a happy person.

So how do you become a happy person? If you ask this question, it means that you are not feeling very happy. Many go through depression, depression, apathy. Then advice from psychologists, good books, positive films come to the rescue.

What is happiness?

Happiness is an individual and relative concept. Everyone strives for a state of happiness, but not everyone knows the way to it. It cannot be expressed in material things. Happiness is the result of painstaking work on yourself, self-development, awareness of the meaning of life.

If a person lives in harmony with himself, then he is always happy, regardless of the circumstances. A harmonious personality realizes that difficulties are a temporary phenomenon given to us for development. This condition makes it possible to analyze the overall quality of life. If a person chronically feels depressed and devastated, then there is a reason to think - is it necessary to change something? It might be worth changing jobs or improving your personal life. Or maybe you should try to let go of the past and learn to forgive? The most important thing is necessary.

Obstacles to Happiness

  1. Mental trauma. In the life of everyone there were events that had a strong negative impact. You can forget about them, but they will still remind of themselves until the person decides to eliminate them.
  2. Resentment. They can accumulate - as a result, small resentments turn into big resentments.
  3. Fear of change. Psychologists usually ask you to imagine that your biggest wish has come true right now. Is a person always ready for this? As a rule, no. Routine sucks in, and we end up avoiding positive change.
  4. Bad habits. Excessive alcohol consumption and smoking are naturally negative habits. But also the habits of scolding yourself and doubting your every step have a very negative effect on the quality of life.
  5. Stereotypes. There are certain stereotypes in society, moving away from which a person hears reproaches and discontent in his address. As a result, a person goes to an unloved job, communicates with people uninteresting to him, lives in a place where he dreams of living. What's the point of this? It is important to understand that reproaches and grievances will not last forever, but happiness and satisfaction with life will remain forever.

A step-by-step recipe for happiness
