The latest technologies for housing construction. New technologies for the construction of residential buildings. Tools and equipment

Our company "Art Stroy Design" has been working in the market of construction services for a long time. And we invite you to study the technology of suburban construction. We hope that this article will help you understand the intricacies of suburban construction, building materials used for houses and other features useful for the average reader.

Yes, modern construction technologies do not stand still. Every year more and more innovative technologies are being introduced into suburban construction, which excite our consciousness. And what do we know about them? Almost nothing, we have little understanding of what they are. Let's try to figure it out a bit.

More and more new building materials are entering the market, with which suburban housing becomes a "smart", economical and beautiful home. Note that such housing can be built in almost one season - and all this thanks to new technologies being introduced into construction. These technologies are already being actively used. So, the future "family hearth" predicts a bright future for the owners, combined with strength, durability and decorative beauty, which will not be equal.

Your country house, built with modern technology, will have an individual character. So, we will consider in the article the main types construction of country houses.

Today the most popular suburban building of a house is the "old-fashioned" way - log house... This technology, despite its considerable "age", is still very popular and in high demand. A wooden house creates a special atmosphere: in summer it is not hot, in winter it is warm and cozy. This is practically the standard of an environmentally friendly home.

The main advantages of a country house made of timber:

 1. It is built quickly, practically in two to three weeks;
 2. For the foundation, a simple pile-grillage structure is used;
 3. No interior decoration required;
 4. Environmental friendliness;
 5. Low prices for raw materials;
 6. Mobility.

Country houses made of wood are more often built from rounded logs. This technology has recently become the most widespread, since the material has advantageous advantages over glued beams or simple logs. Firstly, the rounded log is very durable, while its aesthetic appearance is pleasing to the eye, no additional processing is required. Secondly, the log has a clear geometry, so each element fits very tightly to each other. This will save on caulking and decorating your home. A country house made of rounded logs also has the ability to use any complex structures and elements of country construction, so it is quite possible to create an exclusive house, which is also called "breathing". This is due to the fact that wood has the ability to absorb and release moisture under certain conditions.

House made of rounded logs Is a newer technology, but a log house is forgotten and more complex. And this is due to the fact that a log house must precipitate during the year, therefore it is impossible to live in it at this time.

We build the following types of country wooden houses:

The disadvantage of any wooden house is flammability and "morbidity" or susceptibility to biochemical processes. Modern impregnations used for home treatment fully protect against these negative consequences. Fire retardants and antiseptics are more often used, which reliably protect the structure, both from fire and from the appearance of mold on the walls.

A well-built house made of rounded logs will last you two generations or more. In addition, the operation of such housing will only bring pleasure.

Thus, we see that the main advantage of a log house over other types is its environmental friendliness and affordability, this is the best choice for suburban housing.

Aerated concrete blocks Is a modern innovative material that is used for low-rise suburban housing construction. A special foaming agent is added to the composition, which makes the block porous. As we know, air has a low thermal conductivity, so block houses require less heating costs. It is noted that foam concrete blocks begin to crumble over time, as the main drawback. The house is lined with one brick, so it turns out that foam blocks are used as insulation.

Aerated concrete has already established itself on the market as a high-quality building material of a new generation. Its unique properties make the house durable, durable and beautiful. The main advantage of block suburban housing is savings on finishing materials. This is due to the fact that the blocks have very precise geometric shapes (the error is ± 1 mm), so the masonry mortar is needed in a minimum amount. Another advantage of building a country house from aerated concrete is the ease of building a house. In just a couple of weeks you will have a house ready for interior decoration.

the main thing the advantage of houses from aerated blocks or foam blocks - this is their increased resistance to fire and low general flammability of the building material. The exact tensile strength of aerated concrete has not yet been established. This is a relatively "young" material and it took little time for practice to show real indicators. So, a house made of these materials is a practical structure for suburban housing. Practicality, durability, quick construction - all that is necessary for suburban construction to be a joy, and the house has become a family nest, where you can come to rest in the summer or live permanently.

In construction we use:
Comparison of the cost of a "box" of a house from different types of blocks

Although this type of house is considered to be stone, we note that the microclimate created inside the house is as close as possible to environmentally friendly. The properties of aerated concrete are such that the pores in the block are air-permeable, that is, the house "breathes" like a house made of wood. The natural components that make up the block have the property of allowing moisture to pass through, due to which the climate in the house is regulated at an optimal level. In this case, moisture freely passes through the pores of the block, mold growth is excluded, since the raw material is mineral. The service life can be increased by processing blocks with specialized compounds.

From these advantages, we see that the construction of country houses from blocks is the best option in terms of timing, prices and quality.

Brick has been used for construction for over 4 thousand years. There is no need to repeat about its practical importance in this area. perfectly withstand temperature changes, various loads and do not lose the aesthetics of appearance. In addition, modern building finishing materials allow you to transform a brick house beyond recognition. For example, cladding a house with vinyl siding. Any color can be chosen. Siding has unique aesthetic properties - the house will look like a "euro" finish. Also, a brick house can be trimmed with natural stone, sheathed with panels and apply other technologies.

Suburban building of a brick house is a laborious process and takes a lot of time. However, you, as a customer, have the opportunity to order the "embodiment" of your dream into reality in accordance with the most daring expectations.

A huge number of options can also be used for interior decoration of a home. A brick country house is perfect for year-round living. The main disadvantage is the significant cost of building the foundation. For the reliability of a house, you need a solid and deeply buried foundation. To select the type of foundation, it will be necessary to carry out geological surveys of the soil of the area, and this is additional financial costs. If this is not done, then in the future there can be very disastrous consequences, up to the demolition of a newly built house. For the construction of a brick country house, it is necessary to allocate not only significant funds, but also to go through the approval of documents, of which there are a lot - all this, as a rule, delays suburban construction for a long period. It will hardly be possible to build a house in a season.

The main advantage of a country brick house - this is its reliability and resistance to fire. After a fire, the walls will definitely remain intact, the house can be quickly refurbished. Whereas a wooden house will completely burn out. For normal operation of a brick house, it is necessary to take into account the thickness of the walls. Dimensions are calculated when designing a house, if you have chosen a standard project, then the calculations are already included in the document.

The main disadvantage of brick suburban housing is its cost. Today, it is still an order of magnitude higher than the cost of a wooden, frame or timber house.

You can also compare construction prices for different types of materials.

The construction of country houses can be carried out in different ways, but permanent form house - the most modern and technologically advanced process. It is based on a building material - expanded polystyrene, from which almost any architectural form can be built. The cost of the house is 40% less than for a brick house. The versatile house building technology reduces overall labor and construction time.

Expanded polystyrene has high thermal insulation properties, so in winter you will need 3.5 times less money for heating, so the economy when operating such a country house is a definite plus. A house made of fixed formwork will serve you for at least 120 years. And another advantage of this technology is the rapid construction of walls.

So, the superior features of a country house built using a new technology:

 1. Comfort and aesthetics;
 2. Functionality and economy;
 3. High thermal insulation properties;
 4. Durability and reliability;
 5. Excellent properties of sound, heat and noise insulation;
 6. Simplicity and speed of construction technology.

The direct process allows you to build not only a country house, but also any public and special building, as well as many non-residential objects, such as swimming pools, warehouses and others.

The construction of country houses using this technology includes monolithic housing construction and the construction of walls from hollow blocks. Please note that 25 cm thick expanded polystyrene is comparable in properties to a brick wall 150 cm wide, and in comparison with a concrete wall - 250 cm wide. The thickness of the walls allows not only to reduce costs during construction, but also during its further operation of the building. Considering that energy prices are constantly growing, then a house made of fixed formwork is the best choice. Such a high efficiency for a country house is very relevant today, and therefore the demand for new technologies is constantly growing.

Of the additional advantages of a house made of expanded polystyrene, fire resistance and significant noise insulation up to 46 dB can be distinguished. Fire retardants, which are part of the blocks and have the property of self-extinguishing, are prevented from spreading. Suburban construction using new technologies includes a prerequisite that the house must be environmentally friendly. Expanded polystyrene is resistant to biological factors, does not react with water, salt, lime and other substances. All this allows us to say that a house made of fixed formwork for suburban housing is an excellent choice in favor of reliability and economy.

Frame house technologies for suburban construction allow you to get housing in the shortest possible time. The basis of the house is made up of a frame and filler. So, OSB or OSB (oriented strand boards or blocks) are used as the main material. For the production of these plates, pine or aspen is used, which gives the right to call the material environmentally friendly. For construction, it will require a minimum of funds and costs, while frame country housing will be of high quality and reliable.

A frame house does not require the construction of a solid foundation; a columnar or monolithic-buried slab of low weight is suitable. The total weight of the house is small, so the specified types of foundations for the house are quite suitable - they are easy to build on your own, you do not need to hire expensive construction equipment, and there will be no special difficulties when building the frame of the house itself. Sandwich panels are also used to fill the frame - this is an innovative building material that has already reliably proven itself in the field of construction of country houses.

The main difficulties and costs are spent on finishing the facade. The house can be sheathed with decorative panels, if necessary, bricked in 1 layer. For exterior or interior decoration of the house, you can choose absolutely any technology - this is your advantage.

We indicate the advantages of a country frame house:

 1. Environmental friendliness of building materials;
 2. Energy Saving Technologies;
 3. Saving money on heating the house, since the insulation has high thermal insulation properties;
 4. The house is built in 1 season, while the construction does not depend on the type of the season, that is, the house can be built in winter;
 5. For decoration, you can apply any design solution at your discretion;
 6. Lightweight structures have increased seismic resistance;
 7. An organic combination with the surrounding landscape.

For low-rise suburban construction houses is a priority area. The technology of frame construction of housing is actively developing, more advanced building materials appear on the market, which expands the possibilities when choosing the best option for a house. A frame house in some parameters is much superior to a brick one, and in terms of aesthetic qualities such a house is recognized even better.

The frame house is suitable for year-round and comfortable living, even taking into account the conditions of the Russian winter.

Structural frames in conjunction with thermal insulating SIP panels are distinguished by extraordinary warmth, strength, reliability, they are truly environmentally friendly and serve for a long time. The unique energy-saving capabilities of SIP are explained by the use of ultra-efficient modern insulation and oriented strand board (OSB). Every year there is an increase in their use (over 35%).

For decades, SIP houses have been built on a turnkey basis around the world. The absolute majority are satisfied with such a preference. Still would! Every month it is a pleasure to receive bills from housing and communal services, which are an order of magnitude lower than those of neighbors in a brick house. By the way, a small comfortable house pays off very quickly (savings on heating and electricity consumption). It's very nice to watch this.

In Russia, frame-panel technology is observed with a slight delay, but it still provided sustainable growth for itself. The relevance of innovative construction of houses from SIP panels applies not only to the northern regions, but also to the South, as well as to all areas in the temperate and subarctic climate zone. In the individual construction of houses, serious changes can be traced today.

If you have a country house or it is just being built, then nothing prevents you from building a bathhouse. Modern technologies allow you to get a bath in just a few weeks.

The traditional construction of a bath is carried out, of course, from a bar. But, recently, a more reliable structure is recognized baths from aerated concrete blocks... If you need exactly this option, then in the company "Art Stroy Design" you can choose a standard or special project of the bath. When choosing a typical project, you save money. But if you need and want to have something different from other buildings, you can order an exclusive bath project.

Separately, we add that aerated concrete blocks for a bath are the best option, since their main advantage is fire resistance. The advantages of this material are indicated in the section of articles, which are also fully applicable to the construction of a country bath. The specialists of our company are ready to consider your wishes and offer you the latest technologies for construction - you yourself will choose what is most acceptable to you in terms of time and cost. A bathhouse built using such technologies will reliably and efficiently serve you for more than one decade.

The production of building and finishing materials does not stand still. In a competitive environment, various manufacturers are constantly developing new solutions and patenting innovative developments that are aimed at improving the appearance and properties of materials, as well as creating unique products. Everyone decides for himself whether or not to trust the latest technologies in construction and finishing. But we should not forget that they make it possible to simplify the repair and decorate the interior in a new way.

Specialists from Holland managed to solve one of the main problems in the construction of buildings - ensuring the durability of structures. They have developed a new technology for making cement, which is able to spontaneously recover due to the presence of calcium lactic acid and certain bacteria. Living bacteria feed on lactic acid calcium and process it into limestone, which will fill the emerging microcracks and thus eliminate all microscopic damage.

This new technology of "live" concrete in the production of building materials will significantly save in the future on time and repair materials, since it initially contains all the necessary "components".

The company SolTech Energy from Sweden has developed a unique building material for the roof of buildings - glass tiles. It is equipped with built-in photocells that accumulate the energy of the sun's rays and allow it to be used for various needs (water heating, heating, power grid operation).

Such tiles are made of toughened impact-resistant glass, so they are not inferior in strength to traditional ceramic counterparts. The shape and size of the individual glass elements corresponds to the parameters of ceramic tiles, so they can be used for partial roof covering. At the same time, the maximum efficiency from its use is achieved on roofs facing the south side.

To reduce the risk of flooding in cities, the English company Tarmac has developed Topmix Permeable concrete. Its main distinguishing characteristic is its high water permeability. If traditional types of concrete absorb up to 300 mm / h, then its new version - 36000 mm / h (about 3300 l / min.). The new technology for the production of building material involves the use of pieces of crushed granite instead of sand, through which water will seep and then be absorbed by the soil. This is especially true in large cities, where every year there is less and less open soil for water absorption. In addition to reducing the risk of flooding, using permeable concrete will keep the streets dry and safe.

The disadvantages of Topmix include a relatively high price compared to conventional concrete and the possibility of using it only in places with not too cold climates, since low temperatures will cause concrete expansion and, accordingly, destruction of the coating.

Environmental friendliness is one of the main directions of development of the latest technologies and materials in the field of construction, therefore, pressed flax slabs impregnated with natural layers of boron fit into this trend as well as possible. They are distinguished by moisture and fire resistance, do not support the development of fungi and mold and do not accumulate condensation, therefore they are suitable for operation in high humidity conditions (in baths, roof and attic insulation structures).

Linen slabs can provide high-quality thermal insulation up to 75 years (for comparison: the service life of glass wool insulation is 15-25 years, and of mineral wool insulation - up to 50 years).

The American company Ecovative Design, specializing in the development of various products from mushrooms, presented a unique biodegradable plastic Mushroom Materials. It includes agricultural waste (corn stalks, seed husks) and fungal mycelium, which is used as a natural glue due to its natural binding properties.

For the first time, the company used the "mushroom" building material for the construction of the world's first mushroom house: compact housing measuring 3.6x2 m can easily be placed in a transportable trailer. The company's specialists are confident that the new material can be used not only in construction, but also in other industries where plastics are used.

Another new technology that is used in construction for the production of windows, glass doors and partitions is smart glass (smart glass). Its main advantage is the ability to change optical characteristics (heat absorption, haze, light transmission) under the influence of environmental conditions.

This category also includes self-cleaning, self-heating and auto-opening windows. Thanks to their use, you can reduce heat loss, reduce the cost of air conditioning, and even replace the usual curtains and blinds. But smart glasses also have disadvantages in the form of a high price and the need to connect to the mains for some products.

One of the new finishing technologies, which belongs to the variety of wallpaper and imitates the structure and color of different types of stone (sandstone, slate, clinker bricks, etc.). It is made on the basis of sandstone and environmentally friendly polymer, due to which the new material is flexible, durable, lightweight and easy to use. These properties make it possible to use it for finishing not only flat surfaces, but also for objects of complex shapes (fireplaces, columns, etc.).

The flexible stone has a thickness of 1.5-3 mm and is applied in strips to the walls, previously covered with an adhesive, after which all joints are rubbed. It is resistant to abrasion and fading, therefore it is suitable for finishing any premises and parts of the house (bathrooms, kitchens, saunas, swimming pools, fireplaces).

Blooming (thermal) wallpaper

The main feature of this finishing material is the ability to change colors or show additional details of patterns in the event of a change in the temperature of the room or objects adjacent to the wallpaper. The effect is achieved thanks to a new technology for the manufacture of finishing materials using thermal paint, which is used to apply drawings to the canvas.

For example, at low temperatures on the wallpaper, you can see only green stems with small buds, but when the temperature rises to 23 °, the buds increase, and at 35 ° C, lush bright flowers appear on them. This amazing novelty will bring zest to any interior and will not bother the owners for a long time. The disadvantages of this type of finish include the high price, as well as certain requirements for the room: thermal wallpaper should be glued where it is possible to create conditions with temperature changes (near heat sources, in rooms accessible to sunlight or with a controlled temperature).

This is a relative novelty in finishing materials, which instantly changes the surface pattern when a person touches or steps. The technology for the production of "live" tiles involves the use of a polycarbonate capsule in the form of a circle, rectangle or square, which is filled with a special colored gel. With pressure on the surface, the latter moves and spreads, and if the pressure disappears, the pattern is partially restored to the original one. Such tiles are easy to clean and absorb sound and vibration, so movement on them creates almost no noise. It can be used in the finishing of any horizontal surfaces, from floors in various rooms to countertops. The disadvantages of live tiles include susceptibility to low temperatures and scratches that can leave sharp objects.

The new building and finishing materials presented in this collection are novelties at the moment, but in the near future they may gain wide popularity and take the place of our familiar, but already outdated and less functional building materials. Over time, the listed novelties will be replaced by others, and this will be so as long as a person strives for amazing discoveries and non-standard solutions to improve his life.

In our age of rapid growth and technology improvement, it is very difficult to keep up with the various innovations that appear in various fields, be it the food industry, nuclear technology or bioengineering. Progress has not spared construction technologies, and every day more and more new materials are born, more and more convenient and perfect construction methods. This article will highlight some of the latest know-how in the field of construction and interior decoration, present photographs of new products and give their main characteristics and advantages over their predecessors.

Clinker

To begin with, we will present such material as clinker for acquaintance with new products. A clinker is a brick, but a brick with a number of advantages that ordinary brick lacks. Its main advantage over other facing materials is its price. Compared to, say, facing decorative stone, clinker is much cheaper and saves a significant amount of money spent on finishing the facade. The next advantage of clinker is the variety of shapes and colors. Clinker brick does not contain chemical impurities in its composition, and consists only of water and clay with the addition of dyes. This is another advantage of such a facing material, it is natural and environmentally friendly. Well, and the last thing I would like to note about clinker brick is its frost resistance and resistance to various natural phenomena that have a destructive effect on ordinary brick.

Teplosten

Another innovation in the field of bricks is a block called “heatwall”. It was invented in 1999. The heating wall is presented in the form of a block, which consists of three layers. The first layer is a bearing block that holds the main load, the second is a layer of insulation, usually polystyrene, less often mineral wool, and the last is a decorative facade layer. In terms of thermal conductivity, such a block is 6 times superior to an ordinary brick. The heating wall is mounted using tile adhesive, which is applied in a thin layer, which eliminates the appearance of efflorescence on the wall surface. This material has a large variety of configurations and design options. It is also possible to manufacture blocks to order. These blocks have no equal in terms of thermal conductivity; they can retain both heat in winter and coolness in summer. Teplosten can be truly called the material of the future, thanks to its economy, speed and ease of installation and a wide variety of facade design options.

P enoplex

The next novelty, which I would like to say, is Penoplex. Penoplex appeared on the Russian construction market quite recently. This is a new generation of insulation. It is a slab of extruded polystyrene foam with a very low coefficient of thermal conductivity, resistant to various loads, moisture-resistant, frost-resistant, with a high level of noise insulation and non-combustible. Penoplex has a very wide range of applications in insulation and sound insulation. It can be used as insulation almost everywhere, from swimming pools to road surfaces. Plates have grooves for more reliable and convenient fastening to each other. It is permissible to fix them both mechanically and using special adhesives.

Linocrom

Next on the list is linocrom roofing material. Linocrom is perhaps the most advanced roll roofing coating available today. It is a layer of polyester or fiberglass, on which a special binder bitumen coating is applied. Possesses high performance properties, resistant to temperature extremes, water and durable. Linocrom can be produced with or without special crumb sprinkling. This material is used not only on flat roofs, but also on pitched roofs, as well as waterproofing foundations and plinths.

Liquid rubber

Continuing the roofing theme, one cannot fail to note another new material for roof waterproofing - liquid rubber. When using liquid rubber, the risk of water leakage through the roof is completely eliminated. the coating is applied by spraying in a continuous uniform layer. A distinctive feature when using liquid rubber is the ability to use it on roofs with any configuration, as well as from any materials - concrete or wood. The use of liquid rubber does not require removing the old coating. The only requirement is a thorough preparation of the surface for further application of a layer of liquid rubber. It is necessary to clean the surface from grease and dust contamination, and the surface must be absolutely dry, if this is missed, then there is a great risk that sufficient adhesion of rubber to the roof surface is not achieved. As a result, all the efforts made by you will be a waste of your time and energy. In addition, moisture must not be allowed to enter the applied rubber layer for two days, this is how much such a coating will dry.

Liquid tree

Continuing the "liquid" topic, mention should be made of another product that has recently appeared on the modern construction market - liquid wood. Liquid wood is a very practical and reliable building material. It is made in the form of a board made of polymer resins mixed with natural wood fibers. The advantages of such boards are obvious. First of all, the price. The price of this material is lower than the price of natural wood, despite the laborious and complicated production process. Liquid wood is a real find for designers and planners who want to embody the reliability of plastic and the beauty of natural wood in their ideas. The reliability of this material allows it to be used in places where natural wood will not last very long, for example, near water bodies, such as swimming pools or ponds, since liquid wood is not subject to decay, insects do not start in it and it is resistant to the vagaries of nature. A liquid wood board is able to withstand a fairly large weight, while not deforming or breaking, it will not crack during installation, so installation is easy and quick even if you do not have the skills to work with this material.

Cork floor

Another no less interesting wooden novelty is the cork floor. It is made from the bark of the cork tree, which grows mainly in countries such as Tunisia, Spain and Portugal. The cork floor has tremendous elasticity, which is achieved by air pores that occupy half the volume of the cork itself. Such a floor is resistant to mechanical stress, for example, to heels or legs of tables and chairs, and restores its previous shape after the load is removed. But do not get carried away with the loads, it will be better if the legs of the furniture rest on special stands, because excess weight will cause the cork to crumple, after which it will not return to its previous state. In addition to resistance to deformation, the cork floor has amazing soundproofing properties, so it is relevant if noisy neighbors live on the floor below. Thanks to its fine-grained structure, the cork floor is always unique and individual. The color options of such floors can be very different, but in color they are made mostly to order. Cork floors are mounted with special glue. After installation, you can varnish the floor at will, however, due to the large number of pores, at least five layers of varnish will be required until it stops absorbing and begins to form an even, smooth layer. It is not recommended to make cork floors in damp rooms, as they are afraid of moisture. This is one of the downsides to cork flooring. Another disadvantage is the rather high price, so not everyone can afford such a soft, warm and environmentally friendly floor.

Rubber roof tiles

Well, the last novelty on the construction market, which will be presented in this review, will be a product that is almost impossible to get anywhere else - this is a rubber tile made from obsolete car tires. This product was invented by the European company Euroshield. The inventors of this tile were forced to come up with such an original way of recycling old tires by the fact that all landfills and garbage dumps are littered with unnecessary tires. Rubber tiles have amazing strength, can withstand both hail and heat, are not affected by temperature extremes and have an original appearance.

Recycled tire shingles are stronger than any known roofing material due to their ability to stretch and shrink. Rubber shingles, like ordinary flexible shingles, are mounted on glue or using screws and nails. The warranty period for this new product is set at around 50 years, but in reality it will last much longer. Even after the end of its useful life, the product can be recycled to produce new shingles, so it is essentially a permanent roof.

All the novelties presented in this material are new only now, but soon they will firmly enter our life, taking the place of outdated and less perfect materials that were used in construction before them and will finally displace the building materials we are used to. And these novelties will be replaced by others, and this will continue as long as a person lives on Earth. His inquisitive mind is constantly striving for discoveries and the desire to improve his life, finding the most amazing solutions to the most non-standard problems.

When choosing a suitable project for a future home, developers are primarily guided by the speed of installation work, because for a modern person, any delay seems to be a serious problem - these are the realities of our fast-paced life. It is also important that we all do not want to face unpleasant moments that can be caused by seasonal changes in the weather, since this will negatively affect the delivery time of the object, and the desire to find a new home as soon as possible makes us accelerate. That is why people are increasingly interested in new technologies in the construction of private houses..

Now let's talk about the practical aspect, because it is also important. For example, you rent a construction tool, for which you have to pay daily, who wants to overpay? This is where advanced solutions come to the rescue, allowing you to implement a typical project in just two or three months. So what do the authors of innovative developments offer us, and what can we successfully implement on our construction site?

Modern and popular technology

Immediately, we want to draw your attention to the fact that new technologies and high-tech building materials are different concepts, although they are on the same plane. For example, foam concrete blocks, wooden rounded logs and OSB slabs are products that have appeared not so long ago, but this is not a technology for building a house, another thing is the way they are installed. Here you will find a non-standard approach to the usual construction process, and an improvement in the performance of private houses, but let's talk about everything in order.

This abbreviation is more familiar to us under the name "folk", also known as "movable formwork", and it sounds completely: Individual Construction Technology and Ecology. This invention belongs entirely to our compatriots, which is doubly pleasant. The main advantage of this innovative approach is that you can build a house yourself, without the help of specialists.

Application of climbing formwork technology

Technology principle

The modern construction of private houses, based on this method, is characterized by the pouring of pile or columnar foundations, often completed with a grillage. Your main tool at this stage will be a drill, which was specially developed for TISE.

The walls of such houses are assembled from hollow lightweight blocks that are formed directly on the construction site using modular formwork, which must be periodically moved. The whole essence of the construction method is that you fix the modules (forms) in the place where the wall of the house will be, and pour concrete into them. When the solution hardens, the modules are dismantled and moved to a new location.

pros

If you all decide to build such a structure, then you will certainly be pleased with the absence of the so-called cold bridges, which modern developers are struggling with with varying success.... Also, you do not need a whole team of builders, because this kind of construction does not require more than 2 - 3 people, including the owner of the house, and even then only for certain processes (moving the formwork, drilling the soil).

Formwork dimensions

In this case, you do not have to rent or buy special equipment, which significantly reduces the construction budget. Moreover, you can independently choose the composition of the filler for the walls of such houses and combine materials (as an option, brick with concrete).

Frame construction

Currently, we rarely resort to such a technology for building houses, but this is more likely due to a lack of information among private developers, which can change in a short time, which means that there is a prospect of its spread.

Features:

After the foundation is poured, they begin to assemble the frame. Such a structure consists of horizontal, vertical and diagonal beam elements, and articulated with each other. As a rule, wooden or metal frame elements are used here - it all depends on the personal preferences of the owners of the houses.

Assembling the timber frame

Metal blanks, of course, are stronger, but to connect them, you will need to drill technological holes, which can be replaced by welding, and this complicates the process, but we want to build a house quickly and without difficulties. Based on the intricacies of working with metals, wooden "skeletons" remain more popular... Most often it is a timber that facilitates the construction of wooden houses using new technologies due to the correct geometry.

Frame structure

The walls here are a kind of cladding, and they can be built from various materials with which they work according to new principles:

 1. The first principle is that walls on wooden frames, which can be built from OSB boards, are filled with any thermal insulation materials. For example, you can choose foam concrete, expanded clay, polyurethane foam or fiber insulation, again, as the owner of the house wishes.
 2. The second principle is prefabricated panels, which at the time of construction are equipped with insulation and waterproofing.

Buildable shield

Please note that the second option is more difficult to implement (we are talking about the fact that we want to build a dwelling with small forces). It is difficult enough to assemble ready-made shields correctly without breaking the technology. Yes, even without a crane, such massive elements cannot be lifted, and this significantly complicates the process and leads to its rise in price.

Benefits

Any type of foundation is suitable for the construction of such buildings, no matter what soil it will be poured on, even if we are talking about problem landscapes... Also here there is the possibility of quick redevelopment, which does not incur high costs. The same applies to the outbuildings, with which you can easily increase the area of private houses - install additional frame elements and sheathe new walls.

For finishing, you can use any materials, there are no restrictions.

3D panels

New trends in the construction industry sometimes represent modified principles that appeared earlier, as well as with 3D panels, vaguely reminiscent of the method of assembling frame-panel houses.

Construction from 3D panels

The panels produced on an industrial scale are not prefabricated panels, but monolithic expanded polystyrene plates, pre-reinforced with reinforcing nets on each side. They are connected to each other by means of metal rods, which pierce the structure diagonally through and go beyond it. It is not difficult to build a house from such blocks, because they have a fairly light weight, and the assembly turns out to be strong and reliable.

Features and Benefits

Here there is no "skeleton" of the house in the classical sense, and instead of it there are panels connected by a rigid coupling and forming the load-bearing walls of the building. After their erection, the structure is covered with a concrete "jacket" on each side of the mounted panels.

3D panel construction

The polymer material of which modern panels are made allows to reduce heat loss to a minimum, and this is an essential moment in the construction of modern houses, both wooden and panel... You can also build a structure from SIP panels - these are also new materials in the construction industry. However, they are little used on private construction sites due to their large dimensions.

Basically, this material is chosen for the installation of large-scale objects. If, for some reason, you do not leave the thought of using SIP panels on your own site, it is better to order them from the manufacturer according to individual drawings, which will be a pretty penny, and a lot.

Fixed formwork

One of the most well-known technologies, often used in private construction due to its availability and ease of implementation.

Ready-made house using fixed formwork technology

Construction principle

As with the TISE technology, the principle here is that you can quickly build a house without a team of craftsmen.

Fixed formwork made of polystyrene foam

Permanent formwork can be formed from block or panel elements, which in the process of work are placed along the perimeter of the base at a certain distance from each other, forming a partition. Reinforcement is placed in the cavity between the blocks and a concrete mass is poured.

pros

As mentioned earlier, you can build such a house yourself, which will save you a lot of money. Assistants may be needed only at the stage of pouring the foundation and when installing floors, otherwise you can do it yourself. At the same time, having chosen the right filler for wall formwork, you don't have to worry about additional thermal insulation.

It turns out that building houses can be inexpensive and quite simple, and here we are talking about both block structures and their wooden counterparts. Knowing and applying the latest technologies, it will not be difficult to build a high-quality home today.

New technologies in construction - we build a house faster and cheaper

Each owner strives to build a comfortable, cozy and functional home in the shortest possible time. It is best to familiarize yourself with modern technologies, innovative solutions, the use of which will allow you to build your dream house, before starting design and construction. In this article, we will consider the latest materials and technologies used in private construction.

Every year, new building materials appear on the market, which make it possible to build houses cheaper, faster, more reliable and safer for humans. It should be borne in mind that new technologies in construction and high-tech materials are different concepts. For the construction of houses today, blocks of foam and aerated concrete, sandwich panels, SIP panels, OSB-plates, rounded logs and other production innovations are increasingly used, but they do not imply the use of new technological methods in the construction of objects, but have unique features in installation.

Block products are distinguished by their larger dimensions than single-piece ceramic bricks, they are characterized by high energy consumption, low weight and different density. These features can significantly reduce the construction time of buildings while maintaining high strength characteristics, practicality and comfort of the new facility. Another advantage of such materials is that they are less expensive than bricks, and hence the lower cost of construction in general.

Rounded log for building a house

Rounded log is a natural wood material that has a high heat capacity and an attractive cost in comparison with the classic already glued timber. That is, the customer simply saves on material, reduces the construction budget of the facility, but the technology remains classical.

For private construction, modern panels are also perfect, which are completely ready for construction work, may have thermal insulation layers, protection from wind and moisture. It remains only to install such materials correctly so that you can enjoy a comfortable life in your cottage. The high popularity of panels, like other modern materials, is due to their low cost.

However, in addition to materials, the modern world makes it possible to use innovative technologies in construction. One of these technologies is TISE or movable formwork. Today it is very popular, as it allows you to build structures without the use of a large number of special technical means and to do with one pair of hands.

This method involves the installation of pile elements or the construction of a columnar foundation, complemented by a grillage. The only thing that will be needed for the construction of a new structure is a drill for TISE. Wall block panels are placed on the installed lightweight foundation. The panels are created directly on site from high quality concrete. The form is a mobile formwork, which is used to fill all the modules one by one.

The main advantages of TISE technology include:

 • solidity of the structure and the absence of cold bridges;
 • the ability to carry out construction work without the costly services of professional teams;
 • high variability of the block composition.

To increase the strength, reliability and attractiveness of the new structure, ready-made concrete blocks are faced with bricks, which gives the object increased stability, resistance to external influences and strength.

A frame house is a structurally simple structure, characterized by simple and cheap construction. Thanks to the lightweight foundation, the variety of options for arranging the frame, the ability to build one- and two-story objects, such structures are very popular.

A frame house consists of block elements that can be placed vertically, horizontally and diagonally. Individual elements can be interconnected in different ways. Depending on your personal financial capabilities and preferences, you can use different materials for the construction of the frame, from wood to metal.

The metal frame for residential buildings is more durable, but requires the use of special drilling and welding equipment for construction, which complicates the construction procedure and sometimes makes it impossible to build an object without the professional help of qualified craftsmen. In terms of resistance to external influences, lumber is not inferior to metals, is distinguished by ease of assembly and provides geometric stability to the new building.

Frame house made from block elements

Walls in frame structures can be filled with different materials, but most often with SIP panels and OSB plates. OSB slabs are wall panels filled with any available thermal insulation materials - mineral wool, polyurethane foam, foam concrete and others. Prefabricated SIP panels are equipped with thermal insulation by default, and also have wind and water protection.

When planning your home, you must take into account all the characteristics and features of the materials used. If you want to build a building from SIP panels, remember that they are quite heavy. To build an object with your own hands, you will have to use lightweight building elements, otherwise you will need the help of professionals with special lifts.

SIP panels are much lighter than most other materials used in construction. Despite this, they make it possible to build very warm, durable and practical buildings. Modern SIP panels are not afraid of snowfalls, hurricane winds and other extremely adverse weather effects.

The main advantages of frame technology include:

 • low weight of the entire structure, which allows construction on any soil without complex and costly earthworks;
 • minimization of construction costs;
 • admissibility of simple redevelopment of the building during its operation;
 • the possibility of completing the object;
 • variability of the internal and external cladding of the object.

Frame houses are easy to clad. If necessary, you will be able to repair the exterior of the object at least every season with low financial costs.

3D panels are a prime example of innovation in construction. This technology appeared relatively recently, and therefore it has not yet managed to become well known to owners and developers. At its core, 3D panel construction technology is a modified, even more modern frame construction of buildings.

3D-panels are monolithic panels made of polystyrene, reinforced with mesh reinforcement on both sides. The panels are connected to each other by reinforcement rods that go through the entire structure, which ensures the building's shape stability, high strength, and resistance to any external influences. At the same time, the structure is lightweight and you can assemble it yourself.

3D panels are ideal for building houses

A house made of 3D panels does not have a rigid frame, it is a panel building, connected with a reinforcing clip. When all the wall panels are formed from the panels, the structure is poured with a concrete jacket, which further improves the characteristics of the building. The advantages of houses made of 3D panels include:

 • panels are made of energy-efficient polymers, so the object will lose a minimum amount of heat during operation;
 • prostate and high assembly speed;
 • panels are created in an industrial environment, which ensures the excellent quality of each individual element of the object and the entire building as a whole;
 • even after concrete pouring, panels weigh very little, therefore the building does not need a heavy foundation.

3D panels are in the same price range with gas and foam blocks that are more familiar to the user. However, 3D panels are superior to their counterparts due to ease of assembly, reliability and stability characteristics.

Permanent formwork is one of the most popular technologies for the construction of private houses. The formwork is formed from panel and block structures, which are located along the perimeter of the future building and form a partition from them. Reinforcement is installed in this wall and concrete mortar is poured, due to which the new building is distinguished by high rigidity and stability.

Due to the low weight of such building structures, the foundation of the object can remain lightweight, both in the construction of one-story buildings and in the construction of two-story houses. The formwork can be filled with various materials, due to which the technical characteristics of the object, as well as the cost of the materials required for this, will depend on the owner's decision.

Permanent formwork technique

The main advantage of the fixed formwork technique is that the owner of the land plot can perform all the necessary construction and installation work with his own hands. It is good if friends or relatives help him, but if there are none, you can still not seek help from professionals.

Despite the admissibility of using various materials for filling the formwork, experts recommend using only those materials that will provide the new building with good thermal insulation characteristics. In this case, you will not need to worry about additional insulation.

Velox is another innovation in the construction market. The principle of this technology is based on the use of fixed formwork, and the formwork is made not from expanded polystyrene blocks, but from cement-bonded or chip-cement boards. The installed outer slab necessarily has a special polystyrene foam insulation and sealing, which allows the structure of the structure to successfully withstand external influences.

House on Velox technology

Permanent formwork is available on the market in different thicknesses. Separate elements of the future structure using the Velox technology are connected with cement mortar, to which liquid glass is added, which provides the structural elements with moisture-repellent characteristics. The most important advantages of Velox technology include:

 • low weight of the structure;
 • small thickness of wall panels;
 • simple and easy installation;
 • high strength of the finished structure;
 • good thermal insulation characteristics, thanks to which the building does not need to be additionally insulated.

Using these and other modern technological solutions in private construction, be sure to remember that all methods are aimed at simplifying construction and installation work and they are intended only for the construction of one-story structures, in rare cases - two-story ones. In addition, when planning, it is imperative to calculate in detail the load on all elements of the object and choose the right material for filling the building. Materials determine what technical characteristics the new house will have, so you should not save on them.

The world around us is becoming more and more perfect every day, progress is observed in all industries. Thanks to this, new materials and technologies appear in housing construction, which raise it to a completely different level. First of all, they allow work to be carried out at any time of the year, which has a positive effect on the speed of construction of objects, and significantly improve their performance.

Characteristics and properties of modern materials

The choice of building material is influenced by cost, speed of wall construction, strength and thermal conductivity, and the need for finishing. In low-rise construction in Russia today, they increasingly use:

 1. glued laminated timber;
 2. foam and aerated concrete blocks;
 3. SIP panels.

Glued laminated timber

This material can be called elite, as it is not cheap.

 • strength;
 • precise geometric shapes;
 • does not shrink;
 • ease of assembly.

In addition to the high price, glued laminated timber has another drawback that affects its environmental friendliness: the glue used in the manufacture.

Foam concrete blocks

Nowadays, foam concrete blocks are often used in cottage construction, which:

 • keep warm well;
 • are lightweight;
 • normalize humidity;
 • easy to install and handle.

The disadvantages include fragility and hydrophobia. Therefore, when working with this material, it is necessary to use fittings and provide for additional finishing.

Aerated concrete blocks

In terms of popularity, they are not inferior to the previous material. They differ in structure by large pores.

 • low weight helps to reduce the load on the foundation;
 • ease of installation;
 • precise geometric shapes facilitate finishing;
 • the presence of plasticizers allows installation at low temperatures;
 • reliability and durability;
 • low cost;

For aerated concrete blocks, in addition to the outer cladding, insulation is required.

SIP panels

Increasingly, low-rise construction uses new technologies that are borrowed from other countries. Today, in cottage settlements, you can often find warm and comfortable houses made of SIP panels, made using Canadian technology.

 • Ease of installation. The panels are attached with self-tapping screws to the timber. The term for the construction of such a house is a couple of weeks.
 • Ease of finishing.
 • Rapid redevelopment if necessary.
 • High sound insulation rate.

The disadvantages include the fact that they practically do not allow air to pass through and belong to the group of combustible building materials.

New technologies in private housing construction

Traditionally, private houses were built of wood. Despite the high price, this technology is quite popular in our country. At the same time, for the construction of private housing, blocks are increasingly used that are much cheaper than wood. An unconventional approach to construction is the TISE method.

What is TISE technology?

The technology involves the installation of pile elements or a columnar foundation, completed with a grillage.

The essence of the method is such that the module is fixed at the location of the wall, later concrete is poured into it. The molds are dismantled after the solution has hardened and installed in another place.

 • Lack of temperature bridges;
 • No special equipment required;
 • Possibility of choosing a composition for wall filler;
 • 2-3 people are enough to carry out work.

When building a house using TISE technology, it is important to control the construction process. So, every 4-5 rows, a reinforcing mesh is laid, then the verticality of the wall being erected is checked.

Construction of a frame house

The frame is assembled after the foundation is poured. The structure consists of beam elements fastened to each other, installed diagonally, horizontally and vertically. Wood or metal is used as a base.

The role of cladding is performed by walls, for the construction of which various materials are used:

 • on a wood frame made of OSB boards. Expanded clay, foam concrete, lightweight fibrous materials are used as thermal insulation.
 • complete ready-made shields.

For the second option, you will have to use special equipment, since the shields are quite heavy. And collecting them, observing the technology, is also quite difficult.

 • Any foundation is suitable for the construction of such a house.
 • Redevelopment does not require large investments.
 • It makes it possible to increase the area of housing without special costs.

Any material can be used as a finishing finish for frame buildings without restrictions.

3D panels

They resemble the frame-panel assembly method. The difference is that they are produced in an industrial environment and are monolithic polystyrene foam plates, which are pre-reinforced and reinforced from all sides with nets. They are connected to each other by metal rods passing diagonally through the entire structure. Buildings constructed from such blocks are durable, warm and economical.

 • The frame of the house, in its classical sense, is absent with this technology. The panels, rigidly connected to each other, form load-bearing walls, which, after erection, are covered on both sides with a concrete jacket.
 • The panels are made of polymer materials with a high energy efficiency index, therefore, heat loss will be negligible.
 • Reduced construction time due to ease of assembly.
 • Industrial production is a guarantee of the quality of individual elements, and therefore of the building itself.
 • The light weight of the panels will eliminate the need for a heavy foundation.

The cost of 3D panels cannot be attributed to the budget, but it is comparable to the price of foam and aerated concrete products.

Permanent formwork house

The formwork, with this method, remains in place and becomes part of the wall or foundation. The installation principle is similar to brickwork. Structural elements have grooves or special connections made according to the type of lock.

Opposite blocks are fastened with ties. The reinforcement in this case is vertical. The filling is carried out in cycles, in one pass the height should not exceed 3-4 rows of blocks.

 • The result is a monolithic construction that is reliable in itself. The fixed formwork forms an additional frame that further strengthens the walls of the house.
 • Monolithic walls exert less pressure on the foundation, which makes it possible to increase the number of storeys in the building.
 • Expanded polystyrene is not only an excellent insulation, but also has good sound insulation characteristics.
 • There is no need to rent expensive special equipment with this technology. And the filling process itself is not particularly laborious.
 • Finishing outside and inside the building will not require extra costs, so the surface of the walls created by the blocks is flat.
 • The service life of such buildings, subject to technology, is at least a century.

The cost of a house built in this way will be significantly lower than a brick or wooden one.

Output: Innovations in low-rise housing construction are aimed at solving specific problems. It is almost impossible to predict what it will be like in a couple of decades. But one way or another, the latest technologies in construction will be aimed at ensuring the comfort, efficiency, reliability and durability of our housing.

The latest technologies in construction. Modern house construction, basic properties and characteristics

In the construction of residential buildings and outbuildings, new technologies are increasingly being used today. For the construction of buildings, modern materials are used that have excellent performance characteristics, are reliable, environmentally friendly and durable.

What are the latest technologies in construction can be used

Innovative in our time include methods for building houses from:

 • glued laminated timber;
 • foam concrete blocks;
 • aerated concrete blocks;
 • SIP panels.

Even when using conventional construction technologies, modern methods of finishing, hydro and thermal insulation, pouring enclosing structures, etc. can be applied.

Properties of laminated veneer lumber

This new material is most often used for the construction of houses and baths. New modern construction technologies are not always cheap. Glued laminated timber is a kind of elite material. Since it is quite expensive, household structures are rarely built from it. The main advantages of this new material are strength and precise geometric shapes. Thanks to the special configuration of laminated veneer lumber, it is very easy to assemble houses from it. In addition, unlike profiled, such material does not shrink. The buildings erected from it look very modern and neat.

However, the glued bursa has one small drawback. The fact is that glue is used in the process of its manufacture. As a result, such an important indicator as ecological cleanliness is deteriorating.

New technologies in the construction of houses, involving the use of laminated veneer lumber, are not particularly difficult. However, when choosing this material itself, experts advise you to pay attention to the manufacturer. It is worth buying such a bar only from trusted companies. Material purchased from an unknown company may be of poor quality. In this case, the walls, assembled even in compliance with all the recommendations, can subsequently shrink, crack, begin to rot, etc.

Advantages and disadvantages of foam concrete blocks

The latest technologies in construction involve the use of not only natural materials, processed in a special way, but also artificial ones. For example, country houses are very often built today from foam blocks. Such buildings are distinguished by simply remarkable operational characteristics. The advantages of foam blocks include:

 • the ability to "breathe";
 • excellent heat preserving qualities;
 • light weight;
 • ease of use.

Lay the foam blocks on glue. Moreover, it is applied, in contrast to the cement mortar, in a very thin layer. As a result, no cold bridges are formed in the walls.

But, of course, this material also has disadvantages. These include, first of all, fragility. When building walls made of foam concrete, be sure to use reinforcement. In addition, foam blocks are afraid of moisture. That is, for example, it is not worth building a bath from them. Even dwelling houses built from this material must be additionally sheathed with finishing material or finished with special plaster.

New technologies for the construction of private houses: aerated concrete blocks

This is another material that has gained immense popularity among the owners of suburban areas. Like foam concrete, it is a special man-made stone with a lot of small voids inside. Thanks to this structure, blocks of this type retain heat very well and are lightweight. The advantages of aerated concrete, among other things, include the ideal geometry of forms. It is very easy to decorate walls from this material, since they have a perfectly flat surface. You can build a house from aerated concrete blocks very quickly. However, such walls also require reinforcement.

Characteristics of SIP panels

New technologies in construction that came to us from other countries often allow us to erect inexpensive buildings with excellent performance characteristics. In cottage residential and suburban settlements today, it is quite often possible to see light houses made of SIP panels. The technology of construction of buildings from this material is called Canadian. The fact is that it was invented in this cold country. The main advantage of SIP panels is that they can be used to build very warm houses. The pluses of this material also include:

 • Ease of installation. You can assemble a Canadian house in just a couple of weeks. In this case, it is absolutely not necessary to hire a construction team. The technology of building houses from SIP panels is very simple. They are attached to the timber using self-tapping screws.
 • Simplicity of finishing. The walls of houses made of SIP panels are characterized by perfect evenness.
 • The ability to quickly redevelop. Putting new or removing old partitions in such a house will not be difficult.
 • High degree of sound insulation. From the side of the street, no sounds penetrate into such houses.

The newest technologies in construction, of course, can have not only pluses, but also minuses. The main disadvantage of SIP panels is that they do not allow air to pass through at all. In their manufacture, polystyrene foam is used as a heater, which is also considered not too environmentally friendly material. In addition, such stoves burn well.

Today on sale you can find SIP panels with mineral wool. The risk of fire when using this material is significantly reduced. However, mineral wool also has a rather significant drawback - it is afraid of moisture.

What new technologies are still being used?

Among other things, in our time, such new technologies in construction can be used, such as:

 • penetrating waterproofing of foundations, walls and other concrete structures:
 • pouring the walls using mortar and fixed formwork;
 • assembly of LTSK frameworks.

What is penetrating waterproofing

In Europe, this technology for protecting buildings from moisture has been used for quite some time. It was first used in Denmark. It is a penetrating waterproofing, a special composition intended for the treatment of foundations, walls and other structures erected using cement mortar. After being applied to a concrete surface, it penetrates the pores and dries to form insoluble crystals. This prevents the absorption of water by concrete during the operation of structures.

Fixed formwork

New technologies in the construction of private houses conceived allow the construction of very inexpensive, lightweight and at the same time warm walls. The main advantage of the method of pouring enclosing structures using fixed formwork is the speed of work. When using such slabs, even a large house can be erected in literally one and a half to two weeks. Permanent formwork is made of warm expanded polystyrene. Ease of assembly is determined by the features of its design and low weight. The use of such sheets, among other things, allows the construction of buildings of the most complex layouts. The fact is that not only ordinary, but also non-standard blocks of this type are on sale today.

A certain disadvantage of the technology of erecting buildings using fixed formwork is the need to use absolutely homogeneous concrete. Also, during construction, you should take the assembly of the reinforcement cage with maximum responsibility.

What is thin walled steel structure

When erecting various kinds of structures of a large area, new materials and technologies can also be used. In the construction of various kinds of hangars, warehouses and auxiliary premises, light metal profiles can be used. The frame of the structure is assembled from them. LTSK technology is used to build mansards, utility and residential buildings. But more often hangars for various purposes, storage and auxiliary premises are assembled on a profile frame. The advantage of such a metal base is, above all, ease of assembly. If necessary, the structure can be easily dismantled and put in a new place.

The disadvantages of LTSK include, first of all, deformation with significant temperature fluctuations and the inability to achieve high energy efficiency. Steel structures, unlike wooden ones, can freeze through in winter.

The high cost and complexity of the construction of buildings and structures using traditional methods is the main reason for the need to use new technologies in construction. The use of modern materials allows you to assemble reliable structures quickly and with minimal cost. That is why SIP panels, foamed concrete blocks, glued beams, etc. are becoming more and more popular. In most cases, in our time, houses are built with their use.

Construction of private houses using new technologies

When choosing a project for building a house, each owner expects to fulfill two conditions: the efficiency of assembly and the comfort of housing. That is why manufacturers offer high-quality and practical modern materials. And the latest technologies are also used. For example, smart home technology that meets all the requirements and demands of a modern user.

New materials and their features

It is worth immediately paying attention to the fact that the latest technologies in construction and high-tech materials are different concepts, although they lie in the same plane. In particular, such piece products as:

 • blocks of foam concrete;
 • gas blocks;
 • rounded log;
 • OSB boards;
 • Sandwich panels;
 • SIP panels;
 • other ...

These are production innovations that have recently appeared on the building materials market, however, they do not determine new technological methods, but have features in terms of installation. For example:

 • Block products (foam, aerated concrete) have a larger format than block bricks, have increased energy consumption, low weight, variable density. Due to these indicators, the construction period is reduced, the workability is increased, and all the high indicators of strength, comfort and practicality of a private house are preserved. Another plus is that the price of materials is lower than that of a brick, and due to the low weight of the structure, the arrangement of a lightweight foundation is shown.

Rounded log is a natural material that has all the characteristics of natural wood, which has high heat capacity

 • Rounded log is a natural material that has all the characteristics of natural wood, with high heat capacity, but the price of the material is lower than that of glued laminated timber, although the practical qualities remain at a high level. The developer receives a convenient piece of material of a stable shape, saving on procurement, and thereby reducing the total cost of the project.
 • Panels. The product is also a piece production, ideal for a private developer. The convenience of the material in its full readiness for installation, that is, the panels are already equipped with a heat-insulating layer, a windproof membrane and moisture protection. You just need to mount a box of walls, floors and a roof - the house is ready. In some cases, panel sections have external and internal finishing. The price of materials is much lower than any other piece products, the light weight of the elements requires a lightweight foundation, the assembly is done without "wet processes", lifting equipment is not always required for installation, which allows you to build a house with your own hands.

Moreover, all these materials are of invaluable quality - they are able to embody any forms and formats of buildings, without requiring large investments from the developer.

New technologies and their features

The use of materials of a new order does not negate the use of building houses using new technologies. The combination of the two indicators provides not only the efficiency of the construction of buildings, but also a significant reduction in the cost of housing construction.

Extremely popular technology, which also has the definition of "movable formwork". The process was developed by domestic scientists and, when used, does not require not only the use of special equipment, but also allows literally only one pair of hands.

TISE principle

The method is characterized by the installation of pile elements or the arrangement of a columnar foundation, supplemented by a grillage. An obligatory tool is a drill developed for the TISE technology. Wall panels for this lightweight foundation are assembled from a block piece product formed directly on the construction site: the movable formwork acts as a form and moves along the wall panels as soon as the made module solidifies.

 1. Complete absence of cold bridges;
 2. A team of professionals is not needed, it is quite possible to do with your own hands and a couple of assistants to move the formwork and earthworks;
 3. Variability of block composition, which reduces construction costs.

Advice! Most often, TISE technology uses two building materials: concrete and brick. Concrete blocks are characterized by high heat capacity, brick for facing will give the structure strength, shape stability and additional rigidity.

Frame construction

This is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to build a private house. A variety of options for arranging the frame, a light foundation, the ability to build houses up to 2 floors, a huge number of projects and the practicality of the house are the main advantages of the technology.

Features:

The construction of the frame begins immediately after the foundation is installed. The whole structure consists of block elements arranged horizontally, vertically or diagonally, articulated with each other in various ways. Used lumber, metal - it all depends on funding and the preferences of the developer.

It is only important to remember that the metal frame, although it is more durable, requires the presence of drilling tools for metal, welding - these nuances can complicate the process of erecting the frame. Good quality lumber is not inferior to metal in terms of resistance, while simplifying the assembly process. Most often, a good quality timber is used, due to which both the shown rigidity of the frame and its geometric stability are preserved.

Modern construction of frame houses allows several options for filling the walls:

 1. OSB slabs act as wall panels and are filled with any available thermal insulation material, for example, mineral wool, foam concrete, expanded clay backfill, polyurethane foam.
 2. Prefabricated panelboard SIP panels, already completed with insulation, wind and hydro-protective film.

Prefabricated panelboard SIP panels, already completed with insulation, wind, hydro-protective film

Advice! Practicing modern materials and technologies for construction, it is necessary to consider the convenient use of all elements. In particular, if you build a house with SIP panels, then in order to manage on your own, you will either have to choose lightweight elements or hire lifts, since wall panel elements are often heavy in weight. But it all depends on the preferences of the owner of the house.

 1. The lightness of the structure does not require the construction of heavy and powerful foundations, which means that the construction of a house is available on any soil without additional earthwork;
 2. Minimum construction costs and the ability to quickly redevelop, complete the building;
 3. Variability of external, internal cladding - panels and sheets easily accept finishing materials, so you can change the look of the house at least every season.

3D panels

These are, perhaps, the latest technologies in construction, which are still little known and available to developers. Despite the cheapness, availability is limited by ignorance and nothing else, because construction with 3D panels is nothing more than a modified version of the frame construction of houses.

The panels are produced in an industrial environment, they are not a kind of prefabricated panel board, but a monolith of a polystyrene foam plate, additionally reinforced with reinforcing mesh structures on both sides. Such systems are connected to each other by metal reinforcement rods passing through the entire structure, due to which not only the stability of the shape of the panels is preserved, but also explains the high strength, resistance to any natural influences. At the same time, the extremely light weight of the structure is preserved, and the assembly does not present any difficulties.

Technology advantages

In the standard sense, a 3D panel structure does not have any "rigid frame"; instead, the builder receives a panel element that is rigidly stapled together and thereby forms load-bearing wall panels. After the installation of these panels, the entire structure is filled with a concrete "jacket", which only increases all the advantages of such a house:

 1. The polymers used to create the panels have high energy efficiency, which means that heat loss in such a house will be minimal;
 2. Ease of assembly ensures the efficiency of development;
 3. Manufacturing under industrial conditions guarantees the quality of both an individual element and the entire building as a whole;
 4. There is no need to create a heavy foundation, 3D panels do not have a heavy mass even in concrete pouring.

Important! The material is much simpler than any block products in the sense that when hanging heavy cabinets you do not have to strengthen the wall with boards. Moreover, the price of 3D panels may well compete with foam, gas-block products.

Fixed formwork

The availability and ease of implementation made this technology one of the most popular and frequently used in individual housing construction.

The principle of technology and its merits

As in the case of TISE, the use of non-removable formwork allows you to build a house alone. Other advantages are the following factors:

 1. The formwork is formed from block or panel structures, which, during the construction of the house, are located along the perimeter of the base and form a wall where the reinforcement is mounted and a concrete solution is poured, which gives the structure additional rigidity;
 2. The variability of the formwork filler allows you to save a lot on building a house;
 3. It is possible to build structures up to 2 floors, while the foundation remains lightweight due to the low weight of the entire building.

Advice! If you choose not only new technologies for the construction of private houses, but also the correct filling materials, in this case, for wall formwork, you will not have to worry about additional thermal insulation materials.

Construction from SIP panels

As for this technology, the most modern materials are also used here, but the very essence comes down to a subspecies of frame construction. SIP panels are a shield material made of two chipboard boards, between which a heat-insulating and waterproofing material is laid; an additional wind membrane is often present. The main advantage of such panels is their readiness for installation on site.

In addition, there are more pluses:

 1. Efficiency of assembly at home;
 2. Light weight of the panels, which allows the use of a lightweight foundation and do it yourself during construction.

Advice! Despite the seeming lightness of the panels, it is a very durable material. The built house will not only be warm, practical, but also durable. SIP panels easily withstand hurricane winds, snowfalls and other environmental influences. At the same time, the material is easily assembled, bonded and, most importantly, the production of panels is possible only in industrial conditions, which, with a good selection of a supplier, guarantees excellent quality of piece elements.

Velox

A relatively new technology used for the construction of private houses, the principle of which is also the use of fixed formwork. The difference from other methods is that the formwork is made not from expanded polystyrene block elements, but from slabs of chip-cement or cement-chip type. The outer plate has an additional seal and insulation made of expanded polystyrene. Permanent formwork comes in different thickness options and is connected with a cement mortar with the addition of liquid glass, which imparts moisture-repellent properties to the structure.

The advantages are the following factors:

 1. Light weight and thickness of wall panels;
 2. Lack of additional insulation;
 3. Efficiency of construction work;
 4. The strength of the building.

Applying new technologies in the construction of private houses, one should not forget about other nuances: as a rule, all modern technologies are not designed for multi-storey buildings, therefore, an accurate and high-quality calculation of the load and filling of buildings is required. And, of course, not the last point - materials. Manufacturers offer a huge range of products with excellent quality indicators at a reduced cost.

Predictions of the emergence of new building materials are usually based on factors of potential industrial growth, economic efficiency, innovation (amazing new discoveries). Forecasting is done annually, analyzing the appearance of new products on a conditional construction site. So, the forecast for innovations and new building materials for 2018 promises to surprise with technologies that combine the full range of the noted criteria.

Market trends for new building materials and technologies: cement, timber, and renewable energy sources. All this will have a significant impact on the design and construction areas for the coming year (2018) and in the near future. Let's see what is already in the trunk.

Programmable cement

As a substance that consumes a significant amount of water, concrete continues to be a leading area of research and development of new building materials.

Despite its ubiquitous and traditional use, concrete still looks like a kind of mysterious building material. Therefore, discoveries like the recent ones made in 2017, when interesting facts were discovered, are expected here.

Research on building materials provides new information about the bonding agent used in construction. Cement particles can be manipulated to form various shapes, such as a cube

It was found that cement, as part of the content of the concrete structure, carbonizes carbon dioxide over time. This material property ultimately contributes to redefining the environmentally friendly area of concrete.

Such research results once again emphasize the need for a clearer understanding of the formation of the structure of new building materials at the molecular level.

Another recent example was the Rice University Multidisciplinary Building Materials Laboratory. Scientists there have discovered previously unknown properties of hydrated cement particles (CSH: calcium silicate hydrated cement).

Alternative connecting links to increase stability are used in the composition of a new type of cements intended for construction industry professionals

According to the researchers, the information obtained is planned to be used to "program" material particles in a strictly controlled way. In fact, we are talking about a new building material - programmable cement.

Significant progress in this work is marked by the first step in controlling the kinetics of cement to obtain the desired building shapes. In fact, Rice University scientists discovered a technology to control the morphology and size of the basic building blocks of CSH.

Such blocks could independently organize themselves into microstructures with a higher packing density as compared to conventional amorphous CSH microstructures.

This increased density should result in increased material strength and durability, improved chemical resistance and protection of the reinforcing steel within the concrete.

Cross-laminated timber

In addition to concrete, wood is an equally popular building material. The construction industry is now focusing on solid wood based on the development of new methods.

Solid wood is used for the construction of high-rise buildings, using rapidly renewable building materials that are environmentally superior to concrete and steel.

So-called cross-laminated timber is rapidly gaining popularity on construction sites. Solid panels based on modified hardwood building material

Within the growing field of softwood lumber, an unexpected competitor has emerged: CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) lumber made from hardwoods.

London-based international studio of architects and designers (dRMM Architects), in collaboration with global engineering firm ARUP and the American Hardwood Export Council, has developed a CLT panel based on the fast growing North American Tulipwood tree.

This is what it looks like on a tulipwood cut. Products obtained from this wood species are distinguished by a very original appearance. Now tulipwood is the new building material of the current century

Tulipwood's properties override those of coniferous wood. Timber "Harpulli" (Tulipwood) is stronger and even stronger than concrete in terms of load capacity. In addition, this new type of building material has excellent decorative qualities.

A new building material based on Tulipwood is already being produced for the building market (in Germany).

Referred to as "Leno CLT". Leno CLT is prepared from rapidly renewable raw materials, and the manufacturing technology supports the production of panels of significant dimensions (for example, 14x4.5 m).
