Strengths and weaknesses of the person for the questionnaire. For those who want more…. Weaknesses in the resume

  • What are your strengths
  • Dealing with weaknesses
  • Self improvement

Many psychologists, authors of books on self-development, personal growth coaches constantly repeat the same formula: "Improve your strengths and develop your weaknesses." At first glance, it seems clear. If you sing well, then you need to constantly improve this skill. If you do not cook well, then you need to make every effort to learn. The only thing that causes difficulty is yourself strengths and weaknesses of a person... How to identify them? How to find what is worth improving and what needs to be developed? The difficulty lies in the fact that many people prefer not to see their weaknesses. They just say that they are not. It is not true. The article will help you understand your personality. You will learn how to determine your strengths and weaknesses, you will be able to find the path of self-development.

What are your strengths

Personal strengths are often asked in job interviews. This is one of the textbook psychological techniques that are used by many HR-ares. But applicants are aware of this question, so the answers are usually standard. Weaknesses are written to a minimum, and sometimes not written at all. But do not forget that you are interviewing an experienced professional who has studied his business. Therefore, stereotyped answers can be a minus, not a plus.

Therefore, before hiring, and just to determine the characteristics of your personality, you should find your strengths. The difficulty lies in the fact that no one will decide anything for an adult. If in childhood, parents constantly dragged us to circles and sections, trying to develop talents, now the life of adults is only work and sometimes rest. Almost everyone forgets about having a hobby, about a talent that can be constantly improved. This is where disappointment in general activity appears. Units accidentally find their niche and become successful in it. But more often than not, a person just goes with the flow.

Human strengths are based on talents. We all know what we do best. If you are a wonderful culinary specialist, then your talent is the kitchen. If friends are heard when you start singing, then your talent is singing. Etc. Talent can be not only something creative, some people masterfully know how to negotiate with other people. This means that their talent is negotiation. You just need to think about what you do best. This will be the talent. The next stage of self-development will be to hone skills in the chosen business. No one can achieve perfection, but it is easy to significantly improve skills.

Naturally, in the resume for the position of office manager, you do not need to write in the strengths of "the ability to cook". However, this talent has its true strength. If I can cook well, then my strengths are discipline (it is simply necessary to cook meat for a specified amount of time, and so on), responsibility, information (I am constantly looking for new recipes), imagination (coming up with dishes requires creativity). Any talent can be decomposed into strengths of your character... You get along well with people, which means that your strengths will be the ability to win over, responsibility, individualization (orientation towards the personality of an individual, acceptance of it). You are distinguished by a sharp mind, which means that in the column of strengths you can write not only intelligence, but also learning, the desire for new knowledge. Even if you don't have any creativity, your hobby is stamp collecting, your strengths will be competition and discipline.

Then you need to transfer your personality strengths and talents to reality. If you love writing, then you can work as a journalist or copywriter. If you love children, then you can easily go to school or kindergarten. The main thing is that the business is enjoyable. Work without pleasure will be a real hard labor, and there is no benefit from it. You need to clearly understand your talents, highlight your strengths and find a business to your liking... These are the three criteria for a happy life.

Dealing with weaknesses

Each person has both strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, mature, established and self-sufficient person must be able to admit their weaknesses. You cannot say that you are perfect. First, it’s not true. Secondly, with this thesis you can stop your personal development. Weaknesses are not something negative or embarrassing, these are traits that should be developed, improved, and tried to turn them into strengths. If you are constantly engaged in self-development, you will become a full-fledged person and gain life balance.

It is necessary to identify your strengths and weaknesses. If everything is clear with the strengths, then what are the weaknesses? This is natural laziness and procrastination, the inability to get up early, problems with public speaking, shyness and lack of firmness of character. Each person himself knows where his weak point is. You can be completely undisciplined, always be late everywhere. You can be unassembled, do everything at the last moment. You can be afraid of contact with strangers and so on. Some of the weaknesses are easily corrected on their own or with the help of a psychologist. Others are difficult to change, but you can adjust your life, adjust them to your weaknesses so that they do not cause inconvenience. Weaknesses and strengths of a person - this is part of the character, it is impossible to completely get rid of them.

For example, you are often late. The advice “leave early” does not always work, people who are late simply do not know how to control their time. Then the way out is to schedule business meetings in the office at the height of the working day. You will definitely not be late there. If you do not know how to plan a workflow, then you should think over the sequence of doing things. Leave the most difficult and important at the beginning of the working day, and move those things that can be postponed or postponed to the end. Even if you do not have time, it will not get worse. You can also designate the staff of subordinates who some powers are delegated... As a team, you can easily complete everything on time.

Failure to speak in public is a problem for many people, even often for leaders. Working with a psychologist and constant training corrects this weakness. But it can also be circumvented - just entrust communication to other people who are better at this task. If you are a "night owl" and cannot think well in the morning, then it is better to postpone all important matters to a later time. Thus, all weaknesses can be adjusted so that they do not interfere with full-fledged activity.

Analysis of strengths and weaknesses in the interview

Many applicants are interested in the question why at interviews they ask about weaknesses? Needless to say about them, what if it will negatively affect the results? In fact, the absence of weaknesses in the questionnaire is already a negative quality that will definitely alert the recruiter. The company must be prepared for your weaknesses. You never need to worry about this issue, it can alert the hi-ara. All your strengths and weaknesses should be presented calmly, without unnecessary panic. Then you will definitely be assessed as a full-fledged person and a mature person.

Self improvement

It is necessary to constantly be in development. Even if you have talent, there are certain strengths and weaknesses of character, then you cannot throw them away. A good voice requires constant training to improve the skill. But your talents belong to the area that you like, so most often people know what strengths of a person are, they try to develop them throughout their lives. But what about the weak?

Do not think that if weaknesses fit into your life, then you can let things take their course. You can schedule business meetings in the office for a long time, do not be late for them, but you will definitely be late for the plane. He will not come to your office. It is necessary to fight against the inability to plan time, gradually getting rid of this weakness. If you leave early, half an hour or even an hour, it is better to wait at the airport than to miss your flight. This applies not only to planes, but also to friendly meetings, dates, and so on. You need to constantly try to correct your shortcomings, or at least continuously work on yourself.

Every person has advantages and disadvantages... So that the weak do not become the dominant part of your personality - develop. It is not so difficult, but self-development promises success at work, in family life, leads to harmony and happiness.

If, after asking about professional achievements, life runs before your eyes faster than the heroes of action films, you definitely need to prepare for an interview in advance. We have selected 3 questions that an employer will definitely ask, and figured out how to answer them without panic and irritation.

"Tell us a little about yourself"

Such a seemingly simple request can make many job seekers pretty nervous. What exactly to tell? How long does it take to talk? What can and cannot be talked about? What should you focus on? How not to appear too humble or immodest?

Telling yourself about yourself is a very important moment in self-presentation at an interview. It doesn't have to be a lengthy narration of your life or a list of the brightest theses of your resume. Self-introduction is the first and probably the best chance to make it clear to the recruiter that you should be hired for this position.

If you don't know where to start, use the simple and popular "present-past-future" formula. First, talk about who you are at the moment, what you do, what you can do. Then - talk about what brought you to your current position: a set of skills and experience. At the end, talk about your plans and prospects, paying special attention to the opportunities that open before you with this work. Also tell us about what you will do to develop the company in this position.

Remember that the story needs to focus on the professional skills required for the position. We can say a few words about your hobbies and hobbies, but a few words are 1-2 minutes of your time for an interview, no more. As for the duration of the entire story about yourself, everything is very individual here, but try to keep within 7-8 minutes, and then invite the recruiter to ask your questions.

"What are your strengths and weaknesses?"

When talking about your strengths, do not get carried away with general phrases like “I can easily integrate into any team” or “I am not conflicted”. List the specific character traits and skills that are needed for this particular position: “I can lead people,” “I have experience in the successful organization of work of ten people,” “won first place in a regional marketing competition,” and so on.

As you share your achievements, focus on how they have affected the success of your organization. If you can boast of non-work-related accomplishments, such as community initiatives, try to link them to your work life. When listing your strengths, do not be too modest: if you do not tell the interviewer about your strengths, no one will do this for you at the interview. However, do not go to extremes: you should not arrange a half-hour presentation on the topic of your imaginable and unthinkable merits. Better to summarize your main strengths and be prepared to describe each in detail if asked.

The disadvantages are also not so difficult. Don't try to appear ideal. Recruiters value applicants' sincerity and the ability to adequately assess themselves and their shortcomings. Do not try to embellish or hide your weaknesses: if you get this job, sooner or later everything secret will become apparent.

However, there is a little trick. Talking about any flaw, you can talk about how you successfully deal with it. For example, at school you had a fear of public speaking. It was a huge problem then. You couldn't even calmly go out to answer the board. However, at the university at seminars, you made presentations as often as possible, participated in amateur performances. Fear of performances began to recede. Today, although you are in great excitement, you are quite capable of performing in front of an audience of one hundred people. In addition, you continue to work on yourself - you attend trainings, read special literature. The main thing is for the employer to see that you not only admit your own shortcoming, but also actively fight against it.

There are also weaknesses that will play into the hands. For example, in a previous job you were considered a meticulous bore with a lack of creative thinking, but in this one you will be appreciated for being attentive and responsible, especially if other employees generate creativity.

Remember that the worst answer to the question about weaknesses is a joking "I'm too perfect" or "I'm struggling with my perfectionism unsuccessfully." This leaves the recruiter with a rather negative impression of your self-esteem and sense of humor.

"Your Greatest Professional Achievement"

The best argument in your favor in a job interview is a list of impressive ones. The recruiter's logic is simple: if the candidate has achieved a lot in the previous job, then you can expect accomplishments from him in the future. Therefore, before the interview, take a piece of paper and a pen and make a list of your brightest and most impressive victories on the work front. These can be examples of successful projects, increased profits and reduced costs, or increased sales. Try to rank achievements according to their importance to the enterprise. The more important the victory was, the higher its rating. When you are able to isolate the most significant achievement, dwell on it in more detail. First, tell us why you chose it. Secondly, explain how your success has turned out for the enterprise and what it gave you personally. Third, share how you managed to achieve success, what technologies and methods you used in your work.

Don't forget your colleagues. Tell about who helped you achieve results, who was your partner, who inspired you to win. Tell us about the difficulties you faced, about the ways to overcome them.

Finally, be sure to link your past job and your desired future location. Share how the techniques you have used can help you achieve results in the present. The recruiter must understand that you are not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved and intend to move on, bringing benefits to the company in which you will work.

Strengths and weaknesses are our initial data: physical (body structure, height, weight, strength, speed, endurance, etc.) and mental (type of temperament, speed of nervous processes, personality traits and character traits).

What are the strengths of a person? For example, being tall for a basketball player is definitely his strong point. With the help of his height, he is more likely to achieve success in professional sports, it is his uniqueness that helps to achieve outstanding results. For the surgeon, developed fine motor skills will be an advantage. For a pilot - a good vestibular apparatus, for a musician - excellent hearing, for an accountant - an analytical mindset.

The strengths of a person's character also play an important role in achieving success in their profession or business. If you are diligent by nature, have the ability to painstakingly perform work, these traits will help you in the profession of a programmer. If you are endowed with oratory skills, it is easy for you to lead people, you have a loud voice and clear speech, these features can help you in politics, organizational activities.

Along with strengths, each of us has weaknesses. Understanding them will help you not to make a mistake when choosing your professional path. Are there any among your friends who graduated from the university, but do not work in their specialty? Statistics say that there are about 50% of such people! This is a huge number of specialists who made the wrong choice. One of the reasons is that many did not take into account their weaknesses.

What are the weaknesses of a person? For example, for a lawyer, such a trait as impulsiveness will rather be a weak point, and will not allow building arguments without unnecessary emotions. For a recruiting manager, introversion will be a weakness, since a large amount of communication with different people and high rates of work will not be able to him.

- Why is it so important to know your strong side?

Understanding your strengths and weaknesses is a great tool for building self-esteem. A person who loves, appreciates and respects himself is much better realized both in the profession and in other areas of his life. He is much more effective because he knows himself and applies this knowledge in practice.

Stop working on your weaknesses by trying to develop in a direction that does not suit you. You will achieve much better results by finding your strengths and starting to use them.
Human Strength is a powerful tool in the hands of someone who knows how to use it!

- Personal qualities: virtues

The strengths of a person's character can be developed to varying degrees. But it is important that in the aggregate they give a character capable of overcoming the difficulties that arise, improve, go forward.

The list of human strengths includes the following:

1) Purposefulness.
Ability to set goals and achieve them.

2) Perseverance.
Ability to follow a clearly defined plan, overcome all the difficulties that arise and not change direction.

3) Willpower.
A strong-willed person in his life relies not on his desires, but on necessity. The habit of doing what is important, and not what you want, helps not only in activities, but also in relationships with people. People with good willpower are restrained, able to control their emotions and behavior.

4) Self-confidence.
Quality that is a must for success. A person who believes in himself and his strength will perceive any situation as an opportunity to take a step forward. Confident people are less likely to experience depression and feelings of loneliness. They are more proactive and not afraid to take risks. These people attract other people to them, so they are often good leaders and leaders.

5) Sociability.

- Professional strengths

When hiring, each employer strives to find out the strengths of the employee. To do this, he can offer the applicant a questionnaire, tests, or try to understand the character from the interview. Most often, an employer wants to see such human strengths in a new specialist:

1) Hard work.
A person's achievements directly depend on how much time and effort he is willing to spend on a particular task. Moreover, it is important to love not only the end result, but also the process of work itself.

2) Organization.
A person whose day is scheduled by the clock, and the next life by goals, is much more effective in his activities. Such a person spends less time, and has more efficiency compared to a person who does not know how to organize himself.

3) Responsibility.
Whoever gets a job a person, he will always be required to be responsible. It begins with the timely arrival of a person at the workplace and permeates all working time. Irresponsible people can become a burden to the organization and even lead to serious problems in the firm or enterprise. That is why you should develop responsibility in yourself, control your words and actions, do the work on time and keep your word.

4) Learnability.
It is impossible to have a good job if you do not have such an important quality as learning ability. Modern progress requires that employees keep abreast of all the innovations that appear in their professional field.

- Three methods of detecting a person's strengths

1) Talk to your loved ones and listen to their opinions on this matter.

2) Conduct several special tests - there are plenty of them on the Internet.

3) Go to trainings or personal sessions with a psychologist that will help you determine your merits.

- How to use a person's pluses competently?

The mastery of using your strengths is to act according to the situation.

That is, you must understand that the future boss needs to demonstrate some advantages (the ability to learn quickly, high qualifications, responsibility), but the loved one you want to marry is completely different: the ability to cook deliciously, femininity, sexuality, willingness to compromise etc.

The problem for many people is that they do not understand to whom and when to demonstrate their strengths, therefore, instead of admiration, they cause bewilderment.

To make the most of your strengths, do this:

1) Decide on a list of your strengths.
If you have too few advantages, or they all characterize you, for example, as a good housewife, that is, only on the one hand, then work on expanding and diversifying the list.

2) Show your strengths in a subtle way.
If you pride yourself on your punctuality, show up for work on time every day. With economic efficiency and neatness, emphasize the perfect order on the table.

Consider that you have impeccable taste and manners - do not dare come to work with an unwashed head and chomp at dinner, etc.
Sooner or later, others will start discussing your strengths.

- How to correctly describe examples of character advantages in a resume?

Even if you are the lucky owner of all these worthy traits, you need to distinguish yourself from the masses. Therefore, you can go in two ways:

1) Just remove this item. Completely.
Believe me, most likely, the employer will not notice the absence of this item and will find out about everything in the interview. However, if such a list does exist, the interview may not take place;

2) Choose two, no more, really strong sides of character and write them down in detail - one full or two sentences.
Then they will look reasonable and not pompous. But avoid spreading thoughts along the tree - specific examples and details are needed to confirm this or that character trait.

Examples of describing strengths of character in a resume: So, if you want to write about your purposefulness, write - I quickly navigate the situation and know how to make decisions on my own, finish the things I take on.

If you want to emphasize communication skills, describe the related work experience, completed projects, contact base, etc. But remember that it is worth describing only those properties that are really important in the vacant position. It will be nice if, in support of one or another character trait, you give an example of a completed project, show the result that your trait contributed to. Employers are interested in specifics. Indicating strong character traits requires special delicacy. However, like all the points related to the personal side. In addition, in the personality review, it is worth mentioning not only personal characteristics, but also specific skills.

- Why develop your dignity?

In order to become a leader, commanding skills alone are not enough, it is necessary to cultivate other strengths in oneself. A person who claims to be a leader in any team must be able to think constructively and constructively, and also set an example to all his subordinates.

If you set yourself the task of becoming a leader in a team, you must start working on yourself and develop the strengths of the person, one of which is strength of character. People with this trait are able to influence others than people who have some other abilities. It is the character that is your business card, according to which others will form their opinion of you. Your character is a reflection of your mind, values, priorities.

Many are sure that a person's character, at least its main part, is formed in early childhood, and later it is already impossible to change or modify it. However, this belief is incorrect. In fact, a person's character develops and changes throughout his life, although these changes occur rather slowly, and therefore are not noticeable to others.

The main indicator of character can be considered a person's behavior, which can be weak or strong, bad or good. We unmistakably distinguish people with a strong character by their energy, determination, strong nerves, endurance and willpower. The listed qualities are the strengths of a person, which means that having educated them in yourself, you can become a real leader with a strong character.

Let's take a closer look at the strengths of a person.
What qualities can be attributed to them? This list will turn out to be quite voluminous:

1) discipline,
2) honesty,
3) courage,
4) responsibility,
5) hard work,
6) patience,
7) self-confidence,
8) compassion,
9) justice,
10) leadership,
11) dedication,
12) reliability ...

You can continue it for a long time.
People who have the listed qualities are able to control themselves, their actions and thoughts, and also try to perform the right actions.

- Conclusion

In addition, a person is constantly changing and can always turn any negative trait into a positive one. There would be a desire.

Hello readers of the site. In this article, we will identify strengths and weaknesses.

Human Weaknesses and Strengths

We will now continue our self-exploration exercises. Knowing yourself is very important. If you have completed all the exercises that I have given you so far, sorted out your desires, described in detail what you want from life, where you want to live, how you want to live, then now is the time to determine what to do to achieve this the standard of living that you have drawn for yourself. And I want to help you do this.

I believe that absolutely every person has their own. I believe that our soul came to this wonderful world for some reason, and not just like that. And our main task is to determine what it is. And secondly, to realize their destiny. Now I will give you 3 very powerful exercises that will allow you to find yourself and understand what your destiny is.

  1. Write a list of your weaknesses
  2. Write a list of everything that you don't like to do
  3. Write down a list of all the things you do badly.
  4. Write a list of your abilities
  5. Write a list of your strengths
  6. Write a list of everything you love to do
  7. Write a list of all the things you do well.
  8. Write a list of your unique abilities
  9. Write a list of your talents

For each of the above tasks, write at least 10 points!

If you don’t find 10 points, think again!

The answers to questions 1-3 are what you need to avoid doing in your life, or to delegate that work to others. Never try to make your weaknesses strong. You will waste time and energy and still not succeed. Your destiny does not exactly lie in these areas.

Answers to questions 4-7 are what will help you in and realize yourself in life. Use your strengths and build on them. Become the best of the best in the field.

Answers to questions 8.9 will show you where your mission lies. It is on your unique abilities and talents that you will build a successful life. Instead of trying to strengthen your weaknesses, it is better to strengthen your abilities and talents.

Understanding your strengths and weaknesses can help you improve your personal life and develop professional communication skills. Self-knowledge is a great tool that many people neglect because of difficulties or discomfort. What you think is your strength may not be one in the eyes of others, which makes it difficult to categorize some of the personality traits. While you will mostly have to rely on personal experience, there are exercises to help you identify your professional and personal strengths and weaknesses. Below are also tips for applying these techniques in real life situations to get the most benefit, such as in a job interview.

Steps

Part 1

Realizing your capabilities

Appreciate your efforts. The very willingness to understand where you are strong, and what should be given more attention, makes you a strong person. For this activity, you will need inner endurance. Remember to cheer yourself up and remember what a wonderful person you are.

Write down everything you do. To identify your strengths and weaknesses, think about activities that you often participate in or enjoy the most. Throughout the week, write down all the activities you do during each day, rating them from 1 to 5 on a scale of pleasure.

Move on to reassess your values. Sometimes it is quite difficult to recognize your strengths and weaknesses without first defining your basic life values. Values refer to the beliefs that shape your thoughts about yourself, other people, and the world around you. They form the basis of your approach to life. Spend some time re-evaluating your values so that you have a better understanding of which aspects of your life are good and which are disadvantages, regardless of the opinions of others.

    • Think about the people you respect. What attracts you to them? What character traits do you value? Do you own them yourself?
    • Imagine that you have the opportunity to change one thing in your society. What will you change and why? What does this say about your values?
    • Think about the last time you felt content or happy. When it was? What happened? Who was next to you then? Why did you feel this way?
    • Imagine your house is on fire (but all pets and people are already safe) and you can only save 3 items. What will you save and why?
  1. Examine your answers for the presence of a specific pattern. After reassessing your values, look for similarities in your answers. For example, you admire Bill Gates and Richard Branson for their entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. This suggests that you value ambition, competitiveness, and ingenuity. Perhaps you want to do something about poverty in your community so that everyone has a home over their heads and food on the table. This suggests that you value people, social activities and work for the good of humanity. You may have several core values.

Determine if your life is not in line with your beliefs. Sometimes people discover their flaws when, for some reason, their lives do not align with their core values. Living in harmony with your values will make you a congruent personality, which in turn will increase your feelings of satisfaction and success.

    • For example, you value ambition and competitiveness, but you are stuck in a hopeless monotonous job with no opportunity to prove yourself. You may consider this your disadvantage, because such a life does not correspond to your idea of what really matters.
    • Or maybe you are a young mother who values learning and wants to return to teaching. Because one value (of attaining education) contradicts another (family life), you may feel that being a good mother is a disadvantage. In this case, you need to learn how to balance your values. Wanting to go back to work doesn't mean you don't want to spend time with your child.
  2. Consider the situational meanings of values. Determine what the advantages and disadvantages are characteristic of social conventions or customs in a given situation. Social conventions are a set of rules established in a particular geographic area or ethnic group that regulates interpersonal interactions in the hope of maintaining social boundaries. Having an understanding of the accepted foundations will help you determine what counts as an advantage or disadvantage in a particular geographic area.

Practice answering the questions before your interview. To gain experience, conduct a test interview with someone you know. Ask a friend to ask you questions and try to describe yourself to him. Repeat this as many times as necessary and with as many people as possible until you feel comfortable describing your strengths and weaknesses. At first, you will feel like you are reading from a piece of paper, but over time you will begin to feel more and more at ease.

    • Excessive criticality
    • Suspiciousness (in relation to bosses, colleagues)
    • Excessive exactingness
    • Slowness
    • Excessive talkativeness
    • Excessive sensitivity
    • Lack of confidence
    • Lack of tact

  3. Admit the harmfulness of your shortcomings. They can affect your work. Talking about how your weaknesses have influenced or can potentially affect your work can make an impression. This will demonstrate your discernment and honesty, however, you should still be tactful in what you say.

    • For example, you can tell them the following: “I am slow at the moment. I understand that this affects the amount of work I can do, and also potentially affects the amount of work that my colleagues can do. In college, I was able to sort it out because I knew the system, found a way to deal with it, and did everything on time. I understand that this will not work in the professional world, as this is the wrong approach to work, achieving my goals and fulfilling the tasks set. "
  4. Give examples when you talk about your strengths. It is one thing to communicate that you have amazing communication skills, but it is quite another to show them. Illustrate your strengths with real-life, supporting examples from your personal life or work life. For instance:

    • "I am very sociable person. I choose my words carefully, avoid using ambiguous words when communicating. I am not afraid to ask additional questions when communicating with people of a higher position, if something is not clear to me. I try to imagine how different people might interpret my questions or statements. "
    • You can also showcase your strengths and skills by sharing past achievements and successes after your efforts.
    • If you have achieved any award or recognition, you can share it.
  • Be careful in identifying desires so as not to include "false desires" on the list. These are desires fueled by the mistaken belief that you are destined to work for the Foreign Office because you then have to live in Paris, London and Rio, or that you want to be a movie star in order to attend glamorous parties and find a wealthy spouse. These are not desires, since they lack the feeling that your actions fill your life with meaning, they are just fantasies. You have to understand the difference, or else you might be making the gross mistake of building a career around fantasy instead of using your innate strength and sense of purpose.
  • Fixing weaknesses takes time, so take a break if you are unable to immediately come to a solution. Also, don't waste your time trying to turn your weak side into a strong side. First, look for a workaround by developing your skills that you can change. Then come up with ways to further develop your abilities, which will become your hallmark, because they are given to you by nature.

Warnings

  • During an interview, never brag about your strengths or whine about your weaknesses. Be straightforward and offer a way to overcome your shortcomings. As far as strengths are concerned, they must be real and modestly presented.
  • Try not to fall into the trap of thinking that you are doomed if you have weaknesses in addition to your strengths. Nobody is perfect and every person has something to be ashamed of. Imagine yourself in the role of an interviewer and think about how you would react to a person who would not cease to brag that he has no flaws.
