Construction of a metal gazebo: an overview of the main technological stages. Metal gazebos for summer cottages (38 photos): varieties. Frame manufacturing, assembly and decoration Metal structures for summer cottages

The gazebo is a great opportunity to relax in comfort in the fresh air. This building can be found in almost every yard, on every personal plot. Today they are built from wood, stone, brick, concrete, but the most openwork and lightest gazebos are made of metal.

In this article we will talk about the types and advantages of metal arbors, what they are made of, we will analyze in detail how to design the structure correctly, calculate the dimensions and make a drawing. And we will also give detailed step-by-step instructions on how to make a gazebo from a metal profile with your own hands.

Metal superiority

There are many advantages to metal gazebos. In a metal profile construction, you can easily express an infinite variety of shapes, sizes and proportions, in a small architectural form you can embody the most incredible fantasies. Needless to say, high-quality metal summerhouses are durable and reliable, and besides, they are very light buildings.

Artistic forging will decorate even the simplest gazebo

With proper processing and care, metal gazebos can stand for many decades, they do not require expensive maintenance during operation, and if necessary, they can always be repaired.

And if wooden buildings need to be protected from chemical and biological influences, from insects, rot, fungi, then perhaps the only serious enemy of the metal profile is rust, but with modern processing methods this has ceased to be a problem. Good protection is powder coating, various primers and anti-corrosion compounds, hammer paint, which can be applied independently.

Advice: Metal is a material with high thermal conductivity, it heats up quickly and cools down just as quickly. Therefore, if a metal gazebo is entwined with vines and or perennial loaches, then it is better to remove them from the frame for the winter, otherwise they may freeze out.

Design features

By and large, all metal arbors are a welded or prefabricated frame at the corners, on which a kind of truss system for the roof is fixed.

Material

The frame is usually made of a profile pipe: round or square, corner, art rolled. For large structures, a frame welded from a channel can serve as the basis.

In terms of installation speed, garden metal gazebos have no competitors; with ready-made drawings and the availability of material, a small, simple welded structure can be made within a few hours.

It is impossible to ignore light, summer gazebos on a collapsible aluminum or iron frame, with an awning roof, and sometimes with canopy walls. The modern market offers a huge number of summer pavilions, large and small, but, as a rule, they are rectangular or square, sometimes multifaceted.

And of course, forged arbors, there is no limit to fantasy, rectangular and round, in the form of carriages and ships, decorated with tracery curlicues and very simple. A wrought iron gazebo is undoubtedly a special chic of landscape design.

And a completely new type of summer buildings - metal-plastic gazebos. These are collapsible products made of a steel profile treated with an anti-corrosion compound and covered with a thick layer of PVC. They do not rust, do not rot, they are not afraid of rodents and fungi, they are not afraid of moisture and temperature changes. When installing a metal-plastic gazebo, it is important to properly prepare the site, the elements should not come into contact with the ground. It is better if it is a slab foundation or columnar.

The product does not require additional maintenance during operation, and this saves money and time

Design

The types and style of gazebos are striking in their diversity. Even simple garden gazebos from a professional pipe can be decorated with openwork forged elements, and the building will literally be transformed.

I must say that welded gazebos made of metal combined with some other material look very original, for example, if part of the supporting pillars is made of natural stone, or the parapet is made of decorative wooden lattice.

Photo of metal gazebos combined with brick

Recently, it has become fashionable to make gazebo pavilions. The closed part of the building is laid out of brick, sometimes glazed, and a metal open canopy is attached to it. The entire structure can be made under one roof, but most often polycarbonate is used for the metal frame.

Forms

The metal is very plastic, easy to process by welding, which makes it possible to produce gazebos of various configurations: rectangular, round, multifaceted, combined from several geometric shapes and curvilinear.

Note that metal gazebos always look light and elegant, and if you correctly think over the design and decor of the structure, then it is difficult to find equal beauty and luxury to them. They can easily compete with the lace of wood and the beauty of natural stone. And besides, metal goes well with almost any material, so there is no limit to the perfection of metal arbors.

Design

An independent gazebo project should include:

  • a site plan with a designation of a place for a gazebo, other outbuildings and trees should also be marked on it, so that during construction you do not have to face an annoying hindrance;
  • a sketch of the building, you can draw it yourself or find a picture on the Internet;
  • a drawing showing the location of load-bearing walls or pillars, as well as the overall dimensions of the gazebo;
  • a scheme for pouring the foundation, usually a columnar foundation is laid under small architectural forms: it is imperative to provide supports at the corners and in the middle of the structure;
Advice: To use the gazebo with comfort, do not forget about the wind rose in your area. Locate the entrance on the side where the least wind blows.

Sketches

Of course, looking at photos of beautiful structures is sometimes breathtaking. Beauty! Want! But do not forget that a do-it-yourself gazebo will be built from metal, so choose simple designs that echo the design of the main house. Of course, if the plot is large, and the gazebo will hide in the depths of the garden, among the trees, then you can give free rein to your imagination.

Also keep in mind that it is easiest to build a rectangular metal gazebo, small in size, with a vaulted polycarbonate roof, but even in this case there are difficulties, you will have to bend the pipes, and this will require a template or a pipe bender. The roof can be replaced with a hipped one, but then a little more material is required.

It is better to design a building on vertical pipe supports (round or square), and after the frame is assembled, you can buy ready-made forged elements and decorate a gazebo from a metal profile.

Dimensions

The dimensions of the gazebo directly depend on the functionality of the structure, if this is a room for two, then 3-4 m 2 is enough, for a large company the area is calculated based on a comfortable stay for 1 person - 2-4 m 2. But as practice has shown and according to numerous reviews on the forums, it can be argued that the most popular gazebos are 3 * 3 m, 3 * 4 m, 6 * 4m.

If the site is small, then it is advisable to build a small metal gazebo-barrel, you can’t walk around in it, but you can sit at the table in a close company.

Photo of a gazebo from a metal profile, a portable, practical and ergonomic frame for small garden plots

Important: If the gazebo from the profile is small and light, then the foundation can not be laid, it is enough to clear the area and place flat stones or blocks under the corners. But it is better to pave the area under the gazebo with paving stones.

How to weld a gazebo from a metal profile with your own hands

The gazebo made of metal photo, the drawings and step-by-step manufacturing instructions of which are described below, has a rectangular shape 3 * 4 m, 2.7 m high, the roof is hip, the structure is assembled from a metal profile of different sections.

The parapet of the gazebo can be made from ready-made forged gratings, sewn up with wood or polycarbonate

The construction of a gazebo for summer cottages made of metal begins with clearing the site for the foundation. Remove debris, transfer the markings from the drawings to the terrain, pull the rope around the corners, check the geometry of the corners.

How to make a foundation

Remove the top layer of soil. Dig holes for the posts, 500-700 mm deep. In our case, these are 12 pillars, as shown in the diagram below.

Foundation, pillar layout

The pillars can be laid out of bricks or blocks, in which case do not forget about the reinforcing strapping every 3-4 rows, you can also use asbestos pipes or ready-made concrete blocks. We will pour monolithic concrete supports. At the bottom of the pit, pour gravel 100 mm, sand 100 mm, tamp. Tie the frame of the post from the reinforcement, 4 ribbed rods of 8-10 mm are enough, you can simply poke the reinforcement into the ground, but in this case it will quickly rust.

At the bottom of the pit, on a pillow, pour concrete, 70-100 mm thick, install the prepared reinforcing cage into it, wrap it in 2 layers with roofing material, pour concrete so that the post is 100-200 mm above ground level. Insert rods into the middle of the posts so that they stick out. We will tie the frame of the gazebo to them.

Good to know: Reinforced concrete column with a cross section of 400 * 400 mm can withstand a load of up to 40 tons.

Concrete pillars can be loaded after 28 days, when the mortar has fully set

Installing the metal base

For vertical supports, we take square metal poles 100 * 100 mm, but smaller sections are also suitable. Install the vertical posts on the foundation pillars and secure with anchors, additionally weld them to the reinforcement previously released from the foundation.

To increase the fulcrum and reliability of fastening, weld the sole from one end of the pillars

It is advisable to connect the columns along the perimeter from the bottom along the perimeter and the middle ones with a channel 100 * 100 mm. From above, we tie the supports with a rectangular pipe, with a section of 40 * 40 mm, 40 * 60 mm, we also connect the central supports with each other. It remains to make the truss system.

The rafters are boiled on the ground, from a pipe 20 * 20 mm. Can be assembled as a whole and then lifted with a crane. And you can make farms in parts. Separately, we cook the ridge beam, in the photo there is a rectangle in the middle, then corner trusses. In place (at the top), the truss system is additionally connected with metal pipes.

The truss system can be made of both metal and wood.

We clean the metal frame from rust, scale and oil stains, primer and paint. From above, we sheathe the rafters with plywood, 12 mm thick, moisture resistant, and lay a soft roof on it. We lay logs on the floor, wooden bars 50 * 100 mm, sew them up with a tongue-and-groove board or decking.

Do-it-yourself metal gazebos can be decorated with forged elements or wood, it all depends on the design of the metal structures and on the construction budget

It is difficult to imagine a vacation in a country cottage without cozy gatherings in an openwork gazebo. Now their choice is so wide that it can satisfy any wishes: carved wooden, monumental stone or metal lace arbors. Each of the types has its own “pros” and “cons”, however, metal gazebos have the most pleasant ratio: many advantages and very few disadvantages.

Benefits of a metal gazebo

  • Undemanding to the place of installation.

Arbors made of metal can be installed on any type of soil, including unstable ones. Some owners of country houses do not even prepare the foundation for its installation. However, experts still advise taking care of at least a columnar foundation or pouring concrete on the site.

An excellent option would also be laying tiles or paving stones as the floor of a metal gazebo. If the owners of the dacha have chosen a portable type of gazebo, then such a platform can be used as a place for daytime children's games, and in the evening turn it into a place for intimate conversations over a samovar.

  • Variety of shapes, proportions and sizes.

Metal gazebos for summer cottages often have an original, surprisingly beautiful appearance. In the offers of specialized companies, you can find options that will favorably emphasize almost any design of a country house and become a favorite vacation spot for owners and their guests.

  • Lightness and strength.

The light weight of the metal structure allows you not to spend money on an expensive foundation, and also gives the gazebo mobility. Strength is one of the most important positive qualities for which a metal gazebo is so loved. She is not afraid of ground movements, while the frame retains its shape much better compared to arbors made of wood or brick.

  • Precision and ease of assembly.

Having created on your own or with the help of a designer the appearance of a future metal gazebo, you can easily order the desired sizes of decorative elements and parts of a prefabricated structure. It will not be difficult to correctly calculate the angles and fix the parts. Even if an annoying mistake creeps into your calculations, you can fix it quickly and without much effort. This lightness hides another “plus” of a metal structure, which products made from other materials cannot boast of.

  • Fire safety and durability.

In metal gazebos, you can safely light a fire - it will not cause damage. May holidays are not complete without barbecue, and only in such a gazebo it can be cooked quite calmly and do it for many years, because with proper care, metal gazebos can faithfully serve their owners for decades, or even centuries.

Neither mold, nor rot, nor rust will spoil the appearance of the gazebo, for this you only need to cover it with a special anti-corrosion compound or hammer paint and do not install it on wet soil. Forged arbors themselves have excellent protection against rust - during processing, the density of the material and its structure change, making the metal more durable.

"Cons" gazebos for summer cottages made of metal

The disadvantages of a gazebo made of metal include the complete lack of thermal insulation: in cold weather, it will not be possible to organize gatherings. That is why such gazebos are made open, openwork, because they can be used comfortably only in the warm season.

It should also be borne in mind that the metal has a high thermal conductivity (heats up and cools down quickly), which means that the plants that are sometimes used to decorate the gazebo should be removed for the winter, otherwise they are threatened with death from frozen metal.

Varieties of structures and cladding materials

The most popular, metal gazebos, are assembled from shaped pipes with a square, round or rectangular section, galvanized or painted. Forged arbors are also installed in summer cottages, which are distinguished by their elegant appearance, but the high cost of manufacturing limits their popularity.

Recently, the owners of country houses began to install metal-plastic arbors, assembled from a steel profile treated with a special compound and coated with a layer of PVC. They are distinguished by their high resistance to rust, rotting, moisture and weather vagaries, but the requirements for the foundation and unpretentious appearance still keep this type of arbors in low ranking positions.

The material for sheathing is most often chosen from polycarbonate, a thin sheathing board (lining) or euroslate made of cellulose (ondulin). Polycarbonate is chosen for its ability to let in daylight inside the gazebo, and ondulin for silence during rain (the material drowns out the sounds of drops). The connection of a metal structure and wooden or brick supporting pillars, parapets looks beautiful.

Types of gazebos

A gazebo made of metal most often has a quadrangular shape, less often hexagonal and octagonal structures are installed in summer cottages. The latter are more difficult to assemble, but they look much more interesting and original. Polycarbonate is used for their sheathing, since it is more plastic and makes it possible to create a truly unusual roof for a gazebo.

Experts also distinguish between open and closed metal gazebos. Closed structures are completely covered, for example, with polycarbonate sheets, protecting those sitting inside from wind, dust and, partially, from noise. When installing such a gazebo, do not forget about the wind rose - the entrance to it should be from the least windy side. However, you will not be able to enjoy the natural beauties in a closed gazebo. In this sense, an open gazebo, which gives maximum visibility, differs favorably from it.

We have already mentioned about stationary and portable gazebos above. The supporting pillars of stationary structures are fixed in the ground and poured with concrete. An oven or barbecue is immediately installed in them. For portable or mobile arbors, the supports are welded to a horizontal frame, while having rather modest dimensions.

Structural dimensions

The dimensions of the gazebo are chosen based on the estimated number of people who will rest in it. Experts advise choosing a structure height of at least 2.3 meters, while the area should be such that each person has approximately 4 m². Compliance with these wishes will provide guaranteed comfort for vacationers, however, the size of the summer cottage does not always allow all expert advice to be implemented. Most often, summer cottages have an area of \u200b\u200b3x3 or 3x4 meters, at least not less than 2.5x2.5 m.

A country gazebo, no doubt, can be built with your own hands, however, if the owner of the site does not have free time, special skills or special tools, he can contact a company that is professionally engaged in the manufacture and installation of metal structures for recreation in a suburban area. The company's designers will select a suitable design option or evaluate the already selected pattern, and the employees will bring and install the finished structure in the shortest possible time.

On a sunny hot day, when the walls of a country house are thoroughly warmed up and do not provide the desired coolness, many of us often have a desire to find a place to relax in the fresh air. A good solution for arranging such a cozy corner in the open air will be a gazebo made of metal with your own hands. The elegant design will not cover the picturesque landscape or the view of the house and will become an organic addition to the architectural ensemble.

Beautifully designed metal gazebos for summer cottages, acting as an aesthetic addition to landscape design, are able to emphasize the taste of the owner. The variety of shapes and sizes of metal garden arbors is amazing. The decoration of suburban areas are both traditional round, square, hexagonal and octagonal gazebos, as well as original designs of the most unusual design solutions.

Depending on the designer's ideas, gazebos can be decorated with a wide variety of decorative elements: artistic forging, hanging planters with ampelous flowers ...

The main advantage of gazebos for summer cottages made of metal is their strength and durability. Comfortable designs are able to properly serve more than one season. The only thing that is required to extend their service life is to periodically inspect and promptly clean areas that show signs of corrosion.

The rigidity of the frame of metal arbors helps prevent changes in geometric dimensions, which often occur as a result of uneven subsidence of the soil under the influence of seasonal changes.

Depending on the constructive solution and the functional purpose of the gazebo, any attributes for relaxation can be installed on the covered area, starting with garden furniture and ending with a barbecue or barbecue oven

There are also many options for decorating the roof of a metal frame: slate, metal profiled sheet, polycarbonate ... The choice is limited only by the preferences and material capabilities of the owner.

Pavilions can be stationary capital structures, or portable temporary structures. In the first case, they are installed on a base: a slab or column foundation. Portable structures, which are easy to dismantle and remove with the onset of cold weather, are installed directly on the ground.

A do-it-yourself metal gazebo is at least a reason for the pride of its owner. Therefore, we propose to consider the main stages of the construction of a structure so necessary in the economy.

The hexagonal gazebo is a classic that has not lost its relevance for several decades. Such a cozy design has a number of undeniable advantages, the main ones being: elegance, spaciousness, strength and ease of construction.

Such an eight- or hexagonal design is analogous to the round gazebo model, but unlike the latter, it is much simpler in terms of construction.

There is nothing complicated in making a metal gazebo yourself. To do this, you only need to have a specialized tool and have minimal plumbing skills.

Step #1 - Prepare All Required Materials

To make a metal gazebo you will need:

  • Hollow pipes with a wall thickness of 2-4 mm for structural pillars (rectangular or square section);
  • Mounting brackets;
  • Bars for crates;
  • Roofing material (wave polycarbonate, soft tiles ...);
  • Clapboard for wall cladding;
  • Kolovorot or garden drill;
  • electrodes;
  • Drills for metal;
  • Building level;
  • Sand and cement;
  • Metal paint.

Among the tools we need: a grinder, a welding machine, a hammer drill or an electric drill, galvanized self-tapping screws and a screwdriver.

Step # 2 - site selection and ground preparation

The main condition for choosing a place for arranging a gazebo is for the owners and guests to feel cozy and comfortable here, admiring the most beautiful views in their summer cottage.

Any place for arranging a gazebo on the site can be chosen: under the canopy of trees in the garden, near a pond or not far from the entrance to the house

Thinking over the design of the gazebo, you need to decide for yourself whether it will be an open, ventilated or closed design, with or without lighting. To visualize the project and determine the dimensions of the future structure, it is desirable to make a drawing of the building. A drawing made to scale will allow you to correctly calculate the required number of pipes for installing the main frame, and additional screeds of a smaller section for arranging the roof and cross members.

Determining the dimensions of the doorway:

  • the height is calculated based on the average human height (1.8-2.0 meters);
  • the width of the opening is approximately equal to the standard size of the door to the apartment (0.9-1.0 meters).

The site chosen for the arrangement of the gazebo is cleared of debris and tree roots.

From the site cleared of debris and plant remains, we remove the fertile layer of soil, which we use for pouring into flower beds and leveling differences in the area

Having cleared the site and removed a 15-20 cm layer of earth, we fill the bottom of the formed "pit" with a 5-8 cm layer of sand, pour it with water and carefully tamp it down. On a sand base, you can simply lay out paving stones or paving slabs, or you can build a concrete platform. To do this, we form a formwork from the boards, fixing it with pegs driven into the ground along the outside. We fill the site with concrete and leave it to dry completely for several days.

When arranging a site with an area of more than two square meters, it is necessary to provide temperature shrinkage joints. To do this, we install the formwork boards, maintaining an interval of 1 meter, and fill the space with cement mortar. After the concrete has hardened, we remove the boards, and fill the cracks and voids with a liquid solution.

Step #3 - Installing the support legs

After completing the work on arranging the floor, we set marks along the perimeter of the site where we will place the supporting pillars. The number of racks should correspond to the number of corners of the gazebo.

For the erection of support posts in the intended places, using a brace or a garden drill, we dig holes about 80 centimeters deep

It is desirable to deepen the support posts below the freezing level of the soil, which is from 80 -100 cm. We fill the bottom of the dug holes with a layer of sand and gravel mixture. We install metal poles in the center of the holes. Using a level, we determine their verticality, and then fill the voids with cement mortar.

Another option for erecting racks is also possible, in which a columnar foundation is installed in the designated places at a depth below the freezing level of the soil - concrete columns with mortgages. Metal poles-supports will be welded to these mortgages.

After installing the vertical racks, horizontal crossbars can be welded to them, in the role of which metal pipes or rods can act

The veins are placed in two rows, the width between which is 1.2-1.5 meters. Sheathing (boards, lining, polycarbonate) will be attached to them in the future.

The metal structure can be assembled both with the help of self-tapping screws and bolts, and by welding. The choice depends only on whether the owner knows how to work with a welding machine or whether he has the opportunity to invite an experienced welder. The main advantage of a bolted connection is the possibility of dismantling the structure for the winter. But at the same time, do not forget that during the operation of the structure, the bolted connections will have to be constantly tightened.

Step #4 - arranging the hexagonal roof of the structure

So that the water flowing from the roof does not flood the structure, we place the transverse logs so that they come out 50 cm from each end.

To equip the correct eight- or hexagonal roof, we weld the transverse beams to the support posts, placing them at a distance of two meters from each other

We weld the logs to the metal crossbars, and then, guided by the level, we apply and fix the rafters

The easiest option for arranging a roof is sheathing with polycarbonate sheets. To do this, we make holes in the metal rafters for attaching the roofing material. In order to correctly set the first sheet of the roof, we lay two sheets, calculate them and set the desired angle and offset. After that, we remove the first sheet, and fix the second one on the screws. We fasten all the sheets of the roof in turn, to stiffen them, fastening them together through two waves.

Example #1:

Example #2:

The gazebo is almost ready. It remains to attach the side panels and paint the metal elements of the frame. You can paint the finished structure by applying a powder coating. A good result is also given by the traditional version of painting, in which a layer of soil is first applied to the surface, and then paint for metal.

Do-it-yourself metal gazebos for summer cottages are about relatively light garden structures that fit organically in any area. The material allows you to build a shelter only on the supports for the roof, avoiding the need to install walls.

You will always feel comfortable in the cool, without isolation from the external environment. The metal can be given any desired shape. Shelter from the heat, effectively supplemented with other materials: polycarbonate, wood, stone.

Over the years of operation, a lot of configurations of arbors have been created, represented by the greatest variety: square, round, multifaceted, and also, if necessary, of irregular shape. However, it is quite difficult to realize a round shape, so polygonal or square options are most often used.

Advantages of a metal pavilion

The advantages are much greater than the disadvantages. The popularity of metal gazebos is explained by a number of useful properties, such as:

Disadvantages of metal covers

Despite all the positive properties, the garden form has a number of disadvantages:

Types of metal gazebos

There are several types of gazebos for which different materials can be used. The simplest case is an open gazebo in the form of an awning or pergola. You can easily disassemble and carry the gazebo into the house in the cold season. This is especially true if you do not live on the territory during the cold season, and the building can simply be stolen. In addition, light open shelters do not often require foundations. Most often, a bar or a profile pipe is used.

Do not neglect the following advice: if you are considering how to create a metal gazebo with your own hands, soberly assess your own strengths. You will need narrow knowledge and the necessary equipment. The minimum experience is required for buildings from the profile. It can be made from a corner, round and square pipes, metal channel beams. Moreover, you can assemble such a garden house by welding or bolting.

Builder's advice:
If you do not know how to work with a welding machine, there is no welding inverter available, use a bolted connection. In addition, you can always dismantle the building.

Excellent resistance to the external environment is shown by welded gazebos from a professional pipe. For the formation of the frame, this material is excellent as a load-bearing support that is resistant to deformation and can withstand heavy loads.

Pergolas made of aluminum profile

In the event that iron pipes accumulate a lot of weight in total, aluminum profile products are often used.

At first, you might think that aluminum arbors should scare away consumers with their price.
However, metal has a wide versatility, ease of finishing. Often such buildings are in a collapsible form, because aluminum is difficult to weld. And besides, aluminum is a material that is not subject to corrosion, which greatly affects the service life.

Pergolas, created on the basis of an aluminum frame, are often glazed, and in such a way that on a hot sunny day, you can completely open the openings for fresh air. Often the sashes are filled with polished 4 mm glass, sometimes this number reaches 12 mm, depending on the area.

The use of modern materials for additional suburban constructions

Gazebos for giving metal with polycarbonate are also becoming more common. The aforementioned aluminum and iron bases are well combined with a similar material. The honeycomb material is characterized by great flexibility, low cost, and low weight. Which makes it especially attractive for prefabricated and portable garden houses.

For the decoration of the gazebo, 5-8 mm is usually enough. sheets of plastic. It is also possible to use monolithic polycarbonate for a large gazebo. Another useful property of the material is the transmission of light and simultaneous protection from sunlight. Polycarbonate sheets are used as a roofing roof, as well as shelter walls. Using a quality product, the material will last more than 10 years.

Of course, the most striking and unique are forged metal gazebos for summer cottages, but usually these products are made by professional blacksmiths to order and require an impressive amount of money.

We build a metal product with our own hands

Depending on the area, the future gazebo, the choice of material and the method of connection, a metal gazebo with your own hands can take you from one day to a week of active work.

Materials and necessary tools:

  • hollow pipes for racks of the selected metal, in accordance with the number of sides of the gazebo;
  • mounting brackets;
  • bars for crates or sheets of other material;
  • polycarbonate sheets or tiles for roofing;
  • protective paint for metal of the selected shade;
  • cement and sand, to create a foundation;
  • welding machine and electrodes, grinder, self-tapping screws and other tools;
  • garden drill of the required diameter.

General conditions for successful construction

To build metal gazebos for a summer residence, you will need to draw a plan, or a finished drawing of a metal gazebo, some of which are located below in the download article. In accordance with the idea, it is necessary to calculate the sum of all materials, how the walls and flooring will be erected.

Construction of a portable gazebo made of metal

Such a design will come in handy if you rarely use such a building, or during a holiday, a large number of guests have gathered and the main gazebo is not enough for everyone.

We recommend using proven schemes. The size of 3x2.5 m is considered standard.

Unique design solutions and arrangement of a metal gazebo

As mentioned earlier, metal gazebos for summer cottages are implemented in a mass of options, consider interesting metal gazebos photo options:

Having a personal plot or cottage, you involuntarily think about where to store the tool, any materials or garden tools. Often, when building a summer house, the first thing to do is build a toilet and prefabricated buildings. Then the construction of a residential building begins.

A very practical economical option is a metal shed. It is assembled in a matter of hours and quickly serves as an assistant in the country, regularly performing its functions.

Metal structures are quite popular for giving, this is due to the fact that it is not required to build a base - a concrete pillow. The building stands comfortably on the ground. This type of installation is inexpensive and easy to assemble. Moreover, the metal barn is durable and resistant to external influences. Sellers offer various designs, for example, a combination with a shower cabin or an attached toilet.

There are collapsible utility blocks and welded ones, the types are determined by the method of connections. So, prefabricated sheds are connected using fasteners, and if necessary, they can be dismantled and assembled elsewhere in the summer cottage. This will not affect its quality and characteristics. This type of shed is very convenient for those who have not yet decided on the location of the buildings in their country house.

Welded booths are more reliable because of their strength, and manufacturing does not require perfect accuracy. But it will be difficult to disassemble such a structure, and it is almost impossible to move it whole.

Thinking about the construction of a utility block and its location on the dacha site, it is worth considering its purpose and whether it will be combined with other buildings. Often the building is used for:

  1. Upgrading the well, as well as protecting the water in it from debris, rainwater. And if there are small children, then the building will limit their access to the water.
  2. Improvements to the appearance of the entrance to the vegetable store.
  3. Storage of garden tools, as well as equipment and machinery.
  4. Storage of outdoor furniture such as barbecue, barbecue, chairs, etc.
  5. Cover firewood, coal, sawdust, seed soil, seeds and seedlings.
  6. As a garage for motoblocks, motorcycles, storage of seasonal tires.

Choosing a building site

Having decided on the type of construction and the material of manufacture - metal or wood, you should plan a place for construction so that the barn can be comfortably used. You should also consider the presence of shelves inside the block, take into account that they do not interfere in the aisle. If the building includes a shower or toilet, then it is worth providing separate entrances.

To place the barn, it is necessary to take into account the presence of other buildings, their location, and also consider what structures will still be built. Often they try to arrange household blocks so that they are not conspicuous, for example, behind the house. But modern sheds look so dignified that they blend wonderfully with other buildings.

It is important to consider the purpose of the building. If the structure includes a toilet or shower, then there are norms that should be taken into account when locating. These rules are spelled out in a special regulation. There are also general rules for all buildings, following which you can extend their service life. These include the fact that the hozblok should not be placed in a lowland, otherwise the accumulation of rainwater will lead to corrosion. You should not build a barn near the fence and you should pay attention to have a convenient approach, especially if it is combined with buildings such as a toilet. The site for installation must be flat and located near a residential building.

Prefabricated buildings for economy class cottages

Having bought a garden or a personal plot, the soul demands to do everything with one's own hands. It is, in fact, relaxation and satisfaction. And if not everyone decides to build a house, then putting together a wooden shed and a toilet is quite.

Do-it-yourself construction is quite profitable. Unlike the factory design, all available materials are used here, of which there are enough in the country. These are boards, plywood, iron sheets, logs, bricks. If you are smart, you can build an excellent hozblok to give.

If you bought a prefabricated structure, then by assembling it with your own hands, you can save money, but you need to understand construction at least a little. In general, the price depends on the model, the material of manufacture, the size of the building and ranges from 15 to 85 thousand rubles.

The budget is considered to be the acquisition for giving a collapsible utility block made of reinforced plastic. It costs much less than an all-metal one, and the package includes a window, hinged doors, ventilation and a floor. The metal reinforced frame is able to withstand the load from the snow.

Modern plastic is resistant to ultraviolet rays and withstands temperature drops from + 80 to - 55. Manufacturers give a guarantee for such blocks for up to 30 years, while promising that it will not even need to be painted during its service life. And since it is relatively light, there are enough profiles to install, there is no need to pour cement pads, which is an additional plus in the economy version.

Installation of the building should be done by two or three people, while preparing a place for the building in advance. It should be even. Made of concrete or reinforced with metal or wooden rails. For work, you must prepare the tool in advance. Most likely. you will need gloves, a stepladder, a level, a tape measure, a screwdriver or a drill, as well as screwdrivers, wrenches, screws, nuts, etc.

On average, assembly takes about four hours. Please read the attached assembly instructions first. Especially if the module also includes additional buildings, for example, a toilet, a shower, a fence for a well, a vegetable store, etc. Having assembled the structure, it is necessary to fix it to the base.

All prefabricated metal structures are a frame made of galvanized profile or pipe, as well as flat or corrugated sheets for wall cladding. Installation and dismantling are not difficult, anyone, even an unprepared person, can do this.

When buying a ready-made block, it is worth considering only the location, everything else has been thought out for you by the manufacturer. The kit even includes a base for installation on the ground.

The advantages of a ready-made purchased economic unit are:

  1. Transportation. The barn is packed in one box, which will fit even in a passenger car.
  2. Aesthetic look. The package includes metal siding, profiled under the tree.
  3. Corrosion protection by galvanizing and powder coating.
  4. Resistant to chemicals.
  5. Does not require additional annual painting and is easy to clean with water.
  6. Original design of sliding doors.
  7. Ventilation.

If you decide to assemble the barn yourself, then you should prepare the foundation, which can be tape or columnar, or even from concrete slabs. In the latter version, the foundation can also serve as a floor. The assembly of the module begins with the installation of the frame, then the roof is erected, and at the very end the walls are sheathed.
