A fence made of euroshtaketnik is a modern fence for your site. Do-it-yourself fence from a metal picket fence (euro fence) How to make a fence from a euro fence

Reading time ≈ 4 minutes

A metal picket fence is very relevant in our time, since it differs from other fences in that you do not need to spend big money on material and buy the necessary tools. This fence has become relevant, since it performs the function of protection (the construction of this fence is very easy, but penetration through it is not so easy, since the distance between the gratings is close, there are sharp tips), decor, ease and duration of use.

A fence made of a metal picket fence with your own hands will give you great pleasure, since you not only save money, but also feel great pleasure from the physical labor done.

To build a fence, you need to think over all the details: from the perimeter of the fenced area, its appearance, the amount of building materials and ending with the calculation of the duration of work.

Required tools

To make it easier to understand the construction of a fence made of a metal picket fence with your own hands, you can familiarize yourself with the photo in our article or watch a video that will help in this useful and enjoyable lesson. You don't need a lot of tools to build a fence, but you will need:

  • tool for working with the ground. You will need it in order to install the posts to support the fence. You will also need a drill or an ordinary shovel (for digging holes);
  • welding machine (for establishing the transverse lags, to which the pickets will be attached). Welding is the best option for this job (cheap, cheerful and reliable);
  • screwdriver (needed when installing metal pickets for the frame). A screwdriver can also be dispensed with here, but this will give you unnecessary worries;
  • auxiliary small tool that all owners should have in the arsenal and will be necessary to install a metal picket fence.

Materials (edit)

To install a metal picket fence with your own hands, you must be provided with the following materials:

  • A pipe with a cross section of 60 x 60 mm (profiled). The structure of this fence has a fairly low weight, so this section is quite suitable for you and will be able to withstand wind loads.
  • Profile pipe with a section of 20 x 40 mm (needed to install longitudinal logs, thanks to which metal pickets will be attached).
  • Metal pickets (produced at factories from steel with a thickness of 0.5-2.0 mm). The metal on top is covered with a special layer that protects against corrosion, then painted with paints in the idea of a powder.
  • Galvanized self-tapping screws (for fastening metal pickets to the frame).

Installation instructions for a metal picket fence

When you have collected all the tools and materials, you can start installing a fence made of a metal picket fence:

  • draw on paper a project of your future fencing, because based on your drawings, you will be doing the construction process;
  • we install the frame (this is what we need a shovel or drill for). We dig holes, the depth of which is 1000-1500 mm (depth of freezing of the soil), in pre-marked places.

It is necessary to maintain a distance of about 2.5 meters between the posts, since the structure will not be stable. It is advisable to make pits for pillars in the corners deep (there is a large load on them) and lay crushed stone and sand on the bottom. The length of the pillars must be calculated so that after you install them, the pickets are 100-150 mm higher. You should start the installation with the pillars in the corners and then fill the supports with a solution of cement, sand, rubble or just ready-made concrete from a mixer. With the help of the lighthouse cord stretched along the entire length of the longitudinal logs, you take the welding machine and weld the profile pipes along the length of the frame. Primer welding places. After that, paint the structure and proceed to the final stage of installation.

The technology for erecting barriers is the property of developers. No secrets, everything is available and open! installed the frame and mounted the infill from corrugated board or picket fence. However, any initiative when installing a fence is excluded. Departures from the step-by-step instructions will not bring you pleasant minutes in the future. How can you not use helpful tips!

Euroshtaketnik photo

We owe the appearance of the euro picket fence to the producers and manufacturers of stainless steel with a wide range of brands - the Belgian companies ArcelorMittal and the German ThyssenKrupp. The know-how of making lamellas from steel sheet, which was adopted, served as an accelerator for the creation of a metal picket fence.

The metal euro shtaketnik is a product made of high quality cold-rolled galvanized steel - corrugated board, which is industrially cut into individual elements (lamellas) with a polymer coating.

Sectional fences assembled from euro-shtaketnik compare favorably with existing structures, combining metal strength, structural durability and unpretentious maintenance. The metal picket fence has become in demand due to the unobstructed air movement in the areas and the original appearance.

The cost of a fence made of euro shtaketnik is acceptable for purchasing lightweight lamellas and a structure made of galvanized steel with a polymer coating and increased rigidity. We will not hide the fact that many people assemble and assemble a fence made of euro shtaketnik on their own.

Useful Tips

The profile of the euro shtaketnik is varied - from rectangular to semicircular. The dimensions of the lamellas are from 80 to 128 mm in width.

If the Euroshtaketnik is still Terra Incognito for you, then this video comes in handy.

Types of euroshtaketnik

There are single-sided or double-sided euro shtaketnik. For one-sided fastening, the placement of the rails or lamellas of the picket fence turns out to be single-row with a gap, the double-sided fastening provides a two-sided staggered arrangement of the rails. Let's tell you, Euroshtaketnik (side A) and (side B) are used for traditional sewing with a distance between lamellas up to 40 mm. For double-sided sewing ("Blinds") use sides A and B with offset installation of lamellas.

In order to install a fence made of euro shtaketnik, it is recommended to prepare the frame and fix the picket fences using a mounting clip on the posts.

Fence installation technology

Enlargedly, the technology of the fence device consists of the following stages:

  • on the selected level area, outline the future location of the support pillars
  • digging or drilling holes in the ground up to 800 mm deep for support pillars
  • carry out installation of support pillars with filling the hole with concrete mixture, organize masonry for brick pillars
  • transverse logs are attached to the supports in the mounting clips, on which the installation of picket fences is provided
  • they install the picket fence and fix it on horizontal logs
  • a plug is installed on the profile metal posts.

According to the basic technology, you can install the fence in certain ways.

methods of erecting a metal fence

There are fundamentally distinctive methods of constructing fences for a picket fence:

  • fence with metal posts
  • fence with decorative brick pillars
  • metal picket fence on a strip foundation
  • a fence with brick pillars on a monolithic foundation.

Any method is possible for your own installation. We will tell you what experts consider a fence on metal poles to be a budget option.

Do-it-yourself fence from euroshtaketnik

The installation begins with the installation of supports, which can be installed in the following ways: by driving or backing into a drilled hole and concreting.

fence posts made of euroshtaketnik

The installation of support pillars is considered a fundamental measure when creating a fence. Possible installation options: * metal or brick fence posts.

Metallic

For pillars, profile pipes with a cross section of 60x60x2, 80x80x3 and 100x100x3 mm, as well as D76 and D89 screw piles, are commonly used. In practice, preference is given to profile pipes with a section of 80x80x3, capable of withstanding the weight of the picket fence at maximum load.

For fastening the lamellas, transverse frame logs are used from a profile pipe 40x40x2 or 50x25x2mm. The pillars are fastened by driving and backing. The bottom of the hole for the post is strengthened, after installing the pipes, they are covered with gravel and tamped. Fastening of each lamella of the picket fence is carried out with 4 self-tapping screws - 2 for the upper and lower lags.

Useful Tips

The choice of the cross-section of the profile pipe as support pillars must be confirmed by an approximate calculation, the initial data of which are the parameters of the total length of the fence and the number of pillars. The number of slats required is calculated by dividing the length of the fence by the width of the slats, taking into account the width of the gap between the slats. For a two-way installation, the result is doubled.

methods of fastening a metal picket fence

There are several ways of horizontal and vertical fastening of a metal picket fence: using welding and using special fastening systems and holders. Mounting X-brackets allow you to mount the log horizontally on vertically mounted support pillars.

Step-by-step instruction

Step 1. Installation of load-bearing support pillars.

Step 2. Installation of transverse lags according to the estimated height and weight of the fence.

Step 3. Fastening the pickets by the piece

Step 4. Installing plugs on profile pipes.

Placing a metal euro-piece on metal poles is the most affordable way.

Useful tips for the installation of the Euro shtaketnik are shown here.

The method of installation on a strip foundation is considered more time-consuming and costly, especially if brick pillars are involved.

Brick

To install brick pillars for the fence, it is necessary to erect formwork and a base for brickwork due to the solid weight of the entire structure. The monolithic strip foundation will allow the erection of fences up to 5 m high, with a well-matched pattern of the euro fence, the fence has a presentable appearance

Step-by-step instruction

Step 1. Marking the site for brick pillars

Step 2. Digging a trench filled with sand and gravel

Step 3. Laying of reinforcement and installation of support pillars, followed by pouring the foundation with concrete

Step 4. Tying each support post with bricks

Step 5. Installation of fastening elements for transverse lags

Step 6. Piece-by-piece mounting of pickets.

Fastening of transverse lags for mounting a picket fence on brick posts and a bearing profile is carried out on special brackets using dowels and self-tapping screws.

Metallic euro shtaketnik is becoming more and more popular material for the construction of fences. Such a rapidly growing popularity is due to its high quality, reasonable cost and good performance. allows you to select a site from the total mass of practically the same type of fences due to its U-shaped shape of small plates resembling wings.

A fence made of such material has high strength, stability and an unusually beautiful appearance. Moreover, the fence turns out to be very easy, and installation does not require much difficulty.

Any fence consists of load-bearing elements, lathing and, as a rule, of (base). The supporting structures include pillars with crossbars attached to them, and to the lathing - any material from which the fence itself will be built.

The initial stage in the construction of a fence made of euro-type shtaketnik will be the clearing of the perimeter and marking for the future fence. Stumps, shrubs, old fences and other debris that will interfere with the work are removed along the entire perimeter of the future fence. Next, they begin to work on the construction of the foundation.

Construction of a strip-pile foundation

For a future fence made of a metal euro-frame, the construction of a strip-pile foundation is considered the most optimal. A profile pipe is used as piles. It is the base of this type that is considered the most resistant to wind (lateral) loads, as well as shifts as a result of the impact of flood waters and surface layers of the soil.

Before starting to dig a trench under the foundation, it is necessary to mark the perimeter of the site using wooden pegs, a tape measure and twine. At the corners of the future fence, trims of reinforcement or wooden pegs are driven in, after which a control twine is pulled between them. After that, they begin to mark the sections of the future fence. This requires:

  • measure the total length of the side of the fences with a tape measure;
  • divide the length into equal segments to determine the pitch (length of one section)
  • mark the places for future supports with pegs.

Important! To provide the structure of the future fence with the necessary strength with a bar height of 180 cm, the support posts are located one from one at a distance of 200-250 cm.

When the marking of the perimeter of the site is completed, they begin to dig a trench. If the soil is slightly loose, the foundation is deepened by 30 cm, the width of the base is 20-25 cm, and the total height should not exceed 50 cm.The bottom of the trench should be well tamped and covered with rubble 7 cm high. to a depth of 50-60 cm. posts from a profile pipe. You can drill holes or dig them with a shovel and install pillars in them. After that, the racks are leveled and compacted with rubble.

Important! When installing the pillars, it is necessary to observe their verticality, for which they are constantly checked by the level. Such a check should be done not only during the installation and ramming of the poles, but also during the pouring of concrete.

When the support pillars of the fence are installed, they begin to install the formwork in the trench and prepare the concrete.

Important! First of all, the extreme corner posts are installed. To control the height of the intermediate posts and the plane of the fence, twine must be tied to their middle and upper parts.

Concrete preparation

For pouring the strip-pile foundation, concrete is used, which is prepared from sand and cement, preferably M 400 or M 500. Concrete preparation is no different from mixing a conventional concrete change. When the cement-sand mixture reaches a liquid consistency, gravel or crushed stone of a small fraction is added to it.

To prepare a concrete mixture, take:

  • sand - three buckets;
  • cement - two buckets;
  • crushed stone - 7.5 buckets;
  • water.

You can mix concrete in a concrete mixer, which will greatly simplify the process, or manually with a shovel in a special trough.

When the concrete solution is ready, it is poured into the pre-installed formwork. Further work is started only after the solution has finally hardened. Usually 3-5 days are allotted for this, depending on the weather.

Installation of connecting horizontal strips

When the foundation is completely dry, they begin to install the logs, which are welded to the pillars. Subsequently, a metal euro-bar will be attached to the logs. Depending on the length of the pickets, the connecting horizontal strips are welded at a distance of 30-40 cm from the foundation and 20-30 cm from the top of the post. The third lag, in the middle between the upper and lower, is installed if the height of the picket fences is more than 180 cm.

Advice! To protect the fence frame from corrosion, the frame is coated with an anti-corrosion primer and then painted. Therefore, it is better to use polymer-coated profile pipes for the construction of the frame.

Fastening of strips of euroshtaketin and protective elements

When the frame of the fence is completely ready, they start attaching metal pickets to the logs. It is very important to evenly install and fix the first euroshtaketin, along which the subsequent ones will be installed. At the same time, using a wooden block of the required size, measure the distance between the pickets. Such a simple method allows you to fix the picket fences along the entire length of the section at an equal distance from one to one. The result is a fence that is perfectly flat and unsurpassed in beauty.

Fixation to the frame of metal euro shtaketin

Fastening euroshtaketins to the frame can be carried out in the following ways:

  • Is the most laborious and time-consuming process. Its difficulty lies in the fact that it requires precise adherence to the marking and a large number of drilling holes both in the picket fences and in the crossbars. It is also recommended to ream the self-tapping splines in order to prevent their unwanted twisting;
  • nails for corrugated board - today this is one of the most progressive methods. The pickets are fastened with a special powder-actuated assembly gun. This method of fixing the pickets does not require preliminary marking. The use of two spacing blocks allows you to leave the same gap between the foundation and the picket fences.

Interesting to know! If you first come across euro shtaketin, it takes on average 3 - 5 minutes to install one shtaketin. Thus, it will take 30 minutes for 1 meter of a fence with a distance between pickets of 5 cm.

Installation of protective elements

Pillars made of profiled pipes are subject to rapid destruction under the influence of moisture entering their inner cavity in the form of rain and snow. Given this, such pillars need additional protection in the form of metal pieces welded from above or the installation of special plugs. The size of the plates must correspond to the diameter of the profile pipe. You can also install commercially available plastic caps or plugs.

Metal picket mounting technology

Depending on which one you plan to install - solid or with gaps, there are also ways of attaching euroshtaketin:

  • normal - with this method, the pickets are located only on the front side of the street. The gap between the shtaketins can vary from 2 to 5 cm. Euro shtaketin is fastened with rivets or self-tapping screws;
  • staggered - the installation of pickets is carried out in a staggered manner on both sides of the log. As a result, each subsequent shtaketina slightly overlaps the previous one.

The chess method is more costly, since it will take twice as much metal euro shtaketin. In addition, horizontal cross-members can be mounted both on both sides of the posts and between the posts.

Double-sided lag fastening is preferable, since the outer and inner plates are each attached to its own lag. When the plates are attached to only one lag, the strength of the structure is reduced due to frequent drilling of holes.

Thus, fences made of metal euro fence are gaining more and more popularity, since they do not require constant maintenance, unlike brick ones, and do not need annual painting, like a wooden picket fence. All this gives a lot of advantages to the metal picket fence over other traditional materials for the construction of fences. And if metal plates are installed instead of wooden ones, then the construction of the fence will take very little time, however, provided that the foundation was poured under the wooden picket fence and metal supports were installed.

Such a fence is easy to install, does not need maintenance and is distinguished by its durability, attractive appearance and relatively low cost.

Speaking of a picket fence for building a fence in a country house and in a private house, they usually imagine a fence made of wooden planks with a straight, pointed or curly upper end. The landscape design, in which such a picket fence is inscribed, most often corresponds to a rustic style with elements of retro and provincial coziness. Many modern materials try to imitate and replace wooden structures. The picket fence for the fence also did not stand aside. There are materials for PVC fences on the market and those that we will talk about today - metal, known as "euro shtaketnik".

A practical material - a metal picket fence - allows you to make a modern, beautiful fence.

Advantages of a fence made of euro shtaketnik

Many summer residents have already experienced the inconvenience of solid sheet metal fences:

  • large areas appear, constantly covered by the shadow of the fence;
  • air circulation is impeded inside the continuous enclosure. Many plants suffer from lack of ventilation and overheating;
  • a blank fence is not the best element of landscape design.

All these disadvantages can be avoided if, instead of a solid fence, you make a fence from a metal picket fence with your own hands.

Here are its unconditional advantages:

  • euro-shtaketnik has the same strength and durability as sheet metal profiles and significantly surpasses wooden structures;
  • the light weight of the picket fences makes it possible to make a lightweight frame and save money - 1m² weighs about 300 g;
  • simplicity and ease of installation make it possible to make a front garden from a picket fence or any other fence on your own;
  • the material is easy to maintain and maintain. From such a fence, unlike a wooden one, it is not necessary to clean off peeling paint annually and tint again;
  • plants growing next to the fence get enough sun and a favorable microclimate.

A very good video about the features of the Euroshtaketnik:

What material was called euroshtaketnik

Profiled metal strips with a width of about 10 cm and a length of 1.5 to 3 m, specially designed for fences, are made in the same industries where the standard sheet metal profile is. The material, as a rule, is galvanized and painted with a polymer coating on one or both sides.

Euro profile with rolled edges

Qualitative varieties of picket fence must necessarily have rolled edges. A fence made of such strips looks beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, in contrast to a cheap variety with sharp cuts. In the first case, each part is passed through the rolling mill and formed, and in the second, the pickets are cut from the finished sheet of corrugated board without processing the edges.

Manufacturers constantly offer to the market new varieties of metal picket fence, in which the material, coating method, profile design and color change.

A rich color palette allows you to build a fence for every taste

At the present time, the most popular form of a euro-shtaketnik is with a rounded top edge. The second common top shape is the horizontal cut. In this case, the upper end of the fence is additionally covered with a horizontal bar. The tops of the blanks can be made in a different shape. Sometimes sharp notches are made on them. This is only permissible for fences over 2.5 m in height. On low fences, sharp points can cause injury without providing effective protection.

The horizontal bar covers the upper edge of the picket fence

Euroshtaketniks are also distinguished by the method of connection with the frame: there are open and closed fasteners. In the second case, the hardware is not visible on the surface of the pickets.

Manufacturers provide an additional service - they can cut according to the declared size.

Base and frame

In order to make a fence from a picket fence with your own hands, you should start by installing the support pillars. Depending on the climatic conditions and the composition of the soil, they have to be dug to a depth of 1.5 m. The holes can be made with a gasoline or manual garden drill. For reliability and stability, the pillars are covered with crushed stone and poured with concrete. The tops of the pillars are closed from moisture with suitable caps or plugs.

After the mortar has set, the installation of the frame is started. As a rule, it is made from a profile pipe by welding. Sometimes the purlins are bolted together.

Before proceeding with the installation of the picket fence, the posts and the frame must be primed and painted in the color of the metal profile. If the supports are made of wood, the underground part must be smeared with bituminous mastic and wrapped with roofing material, and the upper end must be sharpened so that the water flows down.

Installation of euro shtaketnik

Fastening of pickets to the frame is carried out in accordance with the conceived design using self-tapping screws matched to the tone.

White fence strips require the use of white self-tapping screws

The total cost of the fence, the cost of its manufacture and design depend on the method of placing the strips, their height and the size of the gaps between them:

  • the maximum distance between adjacent strips should not exceed 5 cm;
  • each fence is fixed with 2 self-tapping screws to the upper crossbar and 2 to the lower one;
  • to maintain the same distance between the pickets, you can use the following technique. Having decided on the distance between adjacent planks, you need to choose a wooden block that is suitable in size. By applying it between the strips during the fastening process, they control the accuracy of the installation;
  • those who do not like the gaps between the pickets can make an opaque fence by placing the planks in a checkerboard pattern alternately on both sides of the running logs. The result is a continuous ventilated fence with an original volumetric design.

Choice of fasteners

To connect the frame structure of the fence in those places where welding is not used, bolt fastening is used. Self-tapping screws are used to hang the strips of the Euro-shtaketnik. To protect the polymer coating, the hardware is screwed through the enclosed plastic or rubber rings. Self-tapping screws must be galvanized and painted in the color of the fence.

Fastening the Euro-type frame with self-tapping screws to the frame made of a shaped pipe, painted to match

A little about the disadvantages

Despite the complex design of the profile, which has a lot of stiffening ribs and fractures, the euro bar is not the most durable material. A little effort is required to cause mechanical damage to the paint layer or crease the surface. It is enough to hit it with a shovel, unsuccessfully to lean the bike, to touch the corner of a garden wheelbarrow or mower. They are afraid of the Euroshtaketnik plates and the pressure of snowdrifts.

Dark horizontal strips of metal picket fence favorably emphasize the whiteness of massive racks

By the way, despite the prefix "euro", the material is widespread not in Europe at all, but in the CIS countries. In European design, there are beautiful fences using a metal picket fence located horizontally between the fence posts.

Today, a huge variety of building materials allows you to bring any design ideas to life and make your house, plot, apartment or other place cozy, beautiful and protected from external influences. The latter especially applies to fences that are erected around summer cottages or simple houses in the city.

While the owners are choosing the material from which they decide to make a fence, they rely not only on its appearance, but also on durability, strength and overall quality. One of the many building materials, which has the listed qualities, is a euro shtaketnik.

Fence from euroshtaketnik for summer cottages

The metal Euroshtaketnik has recently become and rather rapidly gaining popularity. This is due to the fact that it is of high quality and relatively recently on the market, therefore it is not too hackneyed material, using which you can stand out from the total mass of the same type of fences. Such material has a U-shape, from the edges of which small wings (plates) extend.

Thanks to this design of the fence, it is very durable and has a very attractive and unusual appearance. In addition, due to this design, it is very lightweight, and installation is carried out using the same plates, which is very convenient and does not spoil the external aesthetic appearance.

Material advantages

Like any other material, a metal euro-bar for a summer residence has a number of advantages that distinguish it from other varieties.

And in order to understand exactly whether it is suitable for your fence, you should definitely study all the advantages of the Euroshtaketnik. Let's start taking them apart:

  • High strength of the fence. Due to its design, the material has high rigidity and is able to withstand impressive loads. Easily withstands all weather conditions, as well as external pressure on the surface.
  • The design is quite lightweight. That, of course, has an excellent effect on the quality of the fence, facilitates installation and justifies a relatively low price.
  • Do-it-yourself ease of installation. To fix the rails, they are screwed on with self-tapping screws and do not need any additional fixation. In case of damage, any element can be very easily replaced with your own hands.
  • Attractive appearance, it is possible to choose any color you need, and if necessary, you can repaint the structure in a different color or refresh the existing one.
  • Do-it-yourself installation can be done both on one and on both sides of the fence. This opportunity significantly expands the design value of the material.
  • The metal euro shtaketnik perfectly resists weather influences, has a long service life.
  • Available in a wide range of sizes. The length of the slats can be from half a meter and up to three linear meters. This allows fences and gates to be built to almost any reasonable height.

Choosing a structure and rail

In general, the shape of the metal Euroshtaketnik is U-shaped, but the shape is not always straight and may be slightly different in appearance.

There are the following most popular and common varieties:

  • Straight U-shape.
  • Reiki in the form of an arc. Moreover, in this case, the arc can be both curved outward and concave inward.
  • Triangular slats.
  • Reiki in the form of a trapezoid.

Difference in shape: U-shaped, in the shape of an arc, a rail in the shape of a trapezoid

In turn, from each of the listed varieties, you can make the following types of fences:

  • Straight.
  • Wavy.
  • Wavelike triangular.
  • A ladder.
  • Trapezoidal.
  • In the form of wings. In this method, the middle of the sections has the shape of a concave semicircle, and pointed pyramids are formed between the sections.

Having chosen the appropriate appearance of the rails and the option of their placement, you can build a very beautiful and unique fence made of euro shtaketnik. It will have high strength, durability and excellent aesthetic appearance.

We do the markup and calculate the material

The initial stage of the construction of the new fence will be the clearing and marking of the perimeter, where the structure will be installed. You need to remove excess bushes, stumps, old sections of the fence and other things that will interfere along the entire length. After the perimeter is cleaned, it is necessary to divide the entire length into sections of two and a half meters, each set mark will be a future column.

Once you know exactly the number of sections and posts, you can easily calculate the required amount of material. To do this, you also need to decide how tightly the slats will be placed.

If installed with a gap equal to the width of the rail, then it is necessary to divide the total area by two, and you will get the required amount of material per section. Then multiply this value by the number of sections and get the total number of materials.

Thus, the gate will be the same height and size as one section. If you want a gate that is higher or of a different width, then the gate must be counted separately. There is no need to count the number of columns, you know this indicator from the marking stage.

We fix the pillars

The structure made of euro-shtaketnik does not need a strip foundation, for fixing it is enough to concrete only each column separately. For this, a hole is dug, at least seventy centimeters deep, ten centimeters of rubble is poured onto the bottom and compacted tightly, it serves as a pillow. The pillar is inserted into the pit, leveled, wedged with stones and poured with concrete. It is not necessary to carry out any more consolidation actions.

Pole installation methods

If you plan to make large and weighty gates, then under them the pillars should be taken with a larger diameter and wall thickness. Accordingly, the supports under the gate are buried deeper, and the diameter of the holes to be concreted should be slightly increased.

We mount sections

The sections consist of horizontal lintels and vertical slats. The jumpers are fixed to the posts from the outside, if a double-sided fence is planned, then the slats must be installed on both sides. They are fixed with self-tapping screws, bolts or by welding.

The scheme of a fence from a metal euroshtaketnik

A fence made of a metal euroshtaketnik is made by screwing the rails with two self-tapping screws to each of the jumpers.

It turns out that for one metal rail, you need four self-tapping screws for metal. The gates are made according to the same principle, but curtains are additionally fixed to them, on which they will turn.

In order to improve the quality, the fence made of metal euro-frame should be installed ideally in level. Then, excessive tension will not form in the structure, and installation will take place more easily.

To set the pillars along one line, it is necessary to fix the two extreme ones, pull two threads between them, one along the upper and the second along the lower edge. Then each next support should be set accordingly with taut threads.
