How to sew a cat pillow with your own hands
We select pillows for the cat bright fabric, it will be interesting to make a cat out of floral fabric, from different patches.
We transfer the pattern to the fabric folded in half with the front side inward, cut out the parts and sew on a typewriter, leaving a little space so that you can fill the pillow with filler.
For double seals, sew the torso parts together.
Tip: inif the muzzle, eyes and various decorative elements are sewn on top, then you first need to cut them out and sew them on the front side.
Small parts do not need to be cut! We cut them off with pins and sew them on a typewriter along the lines drawn, and then we cut them out. It is much more convenient to sew this way and the details will not move.
By the way, you can make the seams outside, then you don't have to turn it out small parts, but only carefully process the edges with a zigzag. Such products with outward seams are also very interesting and creative.
If the edges of the fabric do not peel off much, you can try cutting the fringe with scissors along the edge, you get a tousled cat pillow.
It remains to fill the parts with padding polyester or holofiber. Sew the legs and tails to the body, if required by the model.

It is quite easy to sew this beautiful and original pillow in the shape of a cat yourself.
Making a cat pillow
1. First, we need to make patterns for all the individual details of the cat: its head, ears, paws. Then we move on to cutting out the main body of the pillow. The width of the pillow must be provided such that the head and paws fit in it.
2. Cut out the nose according to the pattern, increasing its linear dimensions by about 1–1.5 cm. To fill the nose, cut out three parts from the padding polyester, each should be smaller than the other (the first is slightly smaller than the base of the nose). Parts can be pointwise connected together with glue.
We put fragments of padding polyester in the main part of the nose, sew along the edge and tighten, giving the desired shape.
3. Making the eyes. We take special cardboard for bags so that you can then wash the main cover. Cut out two circles from the cardboard to the size of the eyes on the pattern. Cut out two circles from white fabric, 1–1.5 cm in diameter larger than the pattern.
We take black threads of iris. Use a large needle to make a French knot. We sew the white fabric in a circle. We put cardboard inside and tighten.
4. Cut out two squares of blue fabric for the head. We glue one square with interlining from the inside out. We transfer the drawing to the fabric, outline it with stitches.
We put a sheet of paper underneath for easier advancement of the fabric. We sew the mustache and mouth in a zigzag along the marked lines. It is better to use thick threads. We withdraw the threads with the needle inside out and fasten, carefully removing the excess paper.
5. Sew the nose to the head. First, carefully glue it, and then sew in a circle.
6. The same way we sew eyes to the head.
7. We make ears. Inside the ears, you need to put one or two padding polyester pads a little smaller than the base and sew them from below.
8. Cut out the head from the square, adding 1.5–2 cm to the seam. Sew on the ears. The main thing here is not to confuse right and left.
We fold the upper and lower parts of the head, sew them together. At the bottom, we leave a segment so that you can turn it out.
Cut off excess fabric. We turn the head out, fill it with padding polyester, sew up the hole.
9. Cut out the legs and tail. We sew the parts together, turn them out, fill them with padding polyester. In places where the foot is marked, we “designate” it by hand sewing with large stitches with a thick thread 2-3 times.
10. Cut out the cat's body from a rectangular piece of main fabric, with a zipper on the side. Insert the front legs into the front seam and sew. Insert the tail and two hind legs into the rear transverse seam. We also use it. Sew the head by hand to the body of the cat.
Sew separately a cotton pillow of the required size. We fill it with padding polyester. Insert the pillow into the cat's body. That's it, our cat-pillow is ready!
