1. Of course, the first thing I will advise you is the simplest solution to the problem - this is the usual restart of the computer. Perhaps some of this advice will seem strange and stupid, but it is this solution that helps to cope with most problems related to the Internet and not only.
2. Next, we try to pull the cable from the network board, wait a few seconds and insert it back. It should start getting a network address after which the computer will receive an IP and the Internet connection should be restored. If all else fails, don't despair and just move on to the next step.
3. Now, going into network connections, we try to disable " ethernet' and turn it back on. Sometimes this is enough to get rid of the "" icon.
4. If the Internet does not work for you, connected via a cable that is connected by the other side to WiFi router, then in this case we perform the following actions. First, we take out the power (220V) from the router and after a couple of minutes we insert it back, so we will restart the point WiFi access. Personally, the first thing I do in such cases is to check if the settings in the router have gone astray. The fact is that sometimes, during power surges in the network, or when it is turned off during the operation of the router, the settings may go astray. It is possible that someone accidentally changed these settings (if you are not alone (alone) working at the computer).
Most often, the address for connecting to the router settings looks like this: 192.168.1.1/

Many people confuse different MAC addresses, because of this, connecting and setting up the Internet can take quite a long time. The fact is that we will have to work with several MAC addresses. First, the MAC address that was registered with your ISP is important (usually this is the MAC address of the network card or router that was originally used to connect). Most ISPs simply bind MAC addresses in order to additional protection, some don't.
Secondly, I recommend that you set up filtering in your router so that, according to the MAC address of the laptop's network card, it is given the same internal local IP every time. This will allow you to forward ports without any problems in the future, fine-tune programs for working with the Internet.
MAC address cloning
1) Find out the MAC address of the network card that was originally connected by the Internet provider. The easiest way is through the command line. Just open it from the start menu and then type in "ipconfig /all" and press ENTER. You should see something like the following picture.

Why are we seeing this message?
Any difficulty regarding the Internet and any network in general can arise for one of two main reasons - through the fault of network equipment or through the fault of software. An error like "Unidentified network without access to the Internet" is usually the result of malfunctions in the software part of the computer or communication devices. This includes malware actions that block the network, wrong settings network services operating system, PC network equipment or external communication devices (wired or Wi-Fi router, modem or even provider equipment).
A similar message means that at the moment the computer has a connection to some network, but does not have access to the World Wide Web. An existing network is a connection, for example, through a wired router or another computer, WiFi networks, as well as to the provider's equipment (if the computer or laptop is connected to the Internet via a cable coming into the room).

ISP related issues
If the PC is connected via a network cable that comes into the room from the outside, then access to the global network is most likely blocked due to the fault of the provider. The reason may be a situation with equipment malfunctions on the provider's side - a short-term failure in operation, incorrect hub settings, lack of equipment connection with the provider's server (possibly due to a broken cable connection). But in such cases, there is nothing left to do, except how to wait for troubleshooting from the provider's side.
A similar problem can occur due to the blocking of Internet access by the provider due to the expiration of the subscription fee or the deliberate termination of the provision of services (this happens, for example, in the case of DDoS attacks on the server from the client’s computer). The last case of disconnection is, of course, very rare, but still possible.
In the last two cases, the laptop will also be connected to the network (provider equipment), but also without access to the World Wide Web. That is why Windows writes to the user "Unidentified network without access to the Internet."
Network settings
If there is accurate information about the performance of the provider's equipment and the absence of blocking on its part, then the problem most likely lies in the communication devices (for example, a Wi-Fi router), settings local network or in the settings of the OS itself. All this can be checked directly from the computer.
If in your case a wired or WiFi router is used as a communication device, the problem may be hidden in the incorrect settings of the ipv4 protocol. You can fix them as follows (further actions are recommended in any case, especially if Internet access is via a local network through a router):
- Open the "Control Panel" through the "Start" menu.
- Set the view mode of the Control Panel sections to "Small Icons", and then go to the "Network and Sharing Center".
- On the left, find the "Change adapter settings" section and go to it.
- Highlight the connection through which your desktop PC or laptop connects to the global network (in our case, this is a wireless type of Wi-Fi network called "wifi").
- Press "Enter" - a small connection status window will open.
- Click on the "Properties" button.
- In the list of components of the current connection, find the item "Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP / IPv4)" (do not confuse it with version 6 of the IPv6 protocol).
- Open the IPv4 properties, and then move the switch to "Use the following IP address", enter the data as shown in the picture, i.e. in the "IP address" field, specify 192.168.0.11 (the last digit is up to you), in the "Subnet mask" field - 255.255.255.0, in the "Default gateway" - in 192.168.0.1.
- Also move the switch below to “Use the following DNS addresses”, and then enter - 192.168.0.1 in the “Preferred DNS server” section, 8.8.8.8 - in the “Alternative” section (addresses for DNS can also be used and those issued by the ISP ).
- Click OK, and then close the IPv4 protocol properties window.
Now your laptop or computer should display information about the successful connection to the network. If there is Internet, Windows will write in the "Network Control Center ..." section in the "Access Type" item - "Internet".
The last step must be done for cases where the standard factory address of a wired or Wi-Fi router is different from "192.168.0.1". If this address was changed by you or other users on your own, we recommend that you find it and add the necessary data to the IPv4 properties.
For example, if your Wi-Fi router, which connects to a PC via a local network, has an IP address of "192.168.1.55", then in the IPv4 settings in the "IP address" section you need to specify, for example, 192.168.1.10, and in "Default Gateway" and "Preferred DNS Server" change the last two digits to 1 and 55, respectively.
Does the laptop still say "No network access"? Then the Internet disappeared, most likely due to the settings of a wired or Wi-Fi router. But here, too, there is a chance that your laptop is having difficulty connecting due to a failure in the network settings of the system. It can be fixed.
Reset network settings
If the PC writes a message about the absence of the Internet due to a network settings failure, then they can be restored to their original state by performing a few simple steps:
- We launch the command line (press the "Win" and "R" keys at the same time, and then enter the "cmd" command in the window that appears).
- A black window will open, where you need to enter "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt", and then press "Enter".
