When the soul is cleared from the astral and mental body, it rises to the causal plane of the Earth. Michael Newton describes in detail the processes of ascent and advancement in the subtle world. So, the soul, having gone through all the stages of purification, comes to the entrance to its original world. The Higher Ones perfectly understand the experiences of the soul that has come, and in order to alleviate stress, especially for young souls, they allow it to be met by those who were close to it throughout their lives (the last or previous ones) and left earlier.
Often, in a state of regressive hypnosis, people talk about meetings with parents who have died long ago, or close people. These people may be at other levels of development. They are only meant to meet and mitigate the situation. Then they return to their home.
Every soul has a Determinant. The essence from the first step of the Hierarchy of God, which leads one or several souls at the same time, and is interested in the correct and rapid development of the guided souls no less than themselves.
The determinant grows and develops through the development and growth of the souls subordinate to it. Here one can see the same hierarchical principle of development as everything else in the Universe. The determinant guides the soul on all levels. If the soul develops rapidly, it can be given another Determinant, the Essence from higher levels of the Hierarchy.
The Determinant meets the returned soul and guides it to its proper level of existence. At some stage, when the arriving soul got used to the situation, the Higher Ones, together with the Determinant, conduct a "debriefing" in its last incarnation. What worked out, what didn’t work out, what was worked out, what debts were, what debts were formed. All this information is recorded in the causal body - the sixth shell.
In general, debriefing is a comparison. When a soul goes to incarnate, it has a multi-variant program of life. This program is also written in the sixth shell. And after death, these records are simply compared. All flaws in the program or major blunders (serious sins) are a complication of the program for the next incarnation.
In the subtle world, the soul develops in exactly the same way between lives. There are an unlimited number of activities. Basically, it's creativity. In the Hierarchy of the Devil, this is, of course, calculations, programming and the implementation of destructive projects.
The soul can stay in the subtle world as long as it wants. It may not incarnate at all and always develop in the subtle world. There, development is easier, since the information is not distorted and the processes take place much faster, at the speed of thought.
But such development is less valuable. After all, the most important thing for the soul - it is so arranged - is to pass into the Hierarchy of God and then enter the Volume of God. And this is possible only after the development of a certain energy set.
In earthly incarnations, such a set is developed much faster than in subtle ones. Much heavier, but the more valuable it is. Therefore, the soul, simply wanting to quickly move into a more comfortable existence for it, takes on body after body, person after person, in order to accelerate the process of development.
When a soul decides to incarnate, the Higher Ones prepare programs for it. There may be several to choose from, or there may be one. A very young soul may not even be introduced to the program, since their programs are often associated either with wars, or with hunger, or poverty. For a starting set of the necessary energies, it is necessary to go through such cataclysms.
Older and wiser souls, as a rule, are introduced to the main criteria of the programs and given the opportunity to choose. The selection criteria include place of residence, gender of the future person, family, era, and many others.
When the choice is made, the Qualifier selects the parents of the unborn child in accordance with the chosen option. For example, the soul is supposed to be karmically born in the body of a disabled child in order to work out some programs. Such a child can be born only to those parents who also karmically have to raise a disabled child.
And if they happen similar options- it's just a program that needs to be done as worthy as possible. The program of life is complex system interrelationships of destinies different people, selection points, reversal of events. Therefore, when a person suddenly commits suicide, it becomes a serious loss for the Higher, since too many lives need to be adjusted in which he had to take part. But the right to choose is the right to choose.
When the program is chosen, all the preparatory moments have been completed, conception has taken place, the soul receives its causal shell with new program, descends into the mental plane, receives a mental sheath, descends into the astral plane, receives an astral sheath. Then, in the etheric plane of the Earth, putting on an ethereal shell, it merges with the body of the fetus.
Different sources describe different periods of the merging of the soul with the body. Seklitova L.A. talks about the moment of birth, Michael Newton - about the fourth or fifth month of pregnancy. Other sources indicate very early dates - the second or third week after conception.
I tend to think that there are no clearly defined limits here, everything is individual. And any of the above terms are possible. But whenever this merging occurs, the process of conception is already a process controlled by the Higher.
There is already a program for the potential fetus that is linked to millions of other programs. And when parents choose to get rid of the fetus, they thereby violate the harmoniously built system, which will definitely affect their karma. Not necessarily in the next life, a person can work out karma in the current incarnation.
Perhaps, in the process of reading, it will seem to you that such a mysterious phenomenon as the soul is somehow presented too simply and has too many humanized features. I used to think of the soul as something otherworldly and unknown. But after all, a person's personality is formed not only by a set of chromosomes, but also by a piece of God - the soul. And we are because we are so formed by these components.
How can they be radically different from what they themselves constitute? After all, a dead person is similar to a living person physically, only there is no energy component in it. This is how the souls of people after death are absolutely the same energetically, only without a physical body.

Reality is incomparably more perfect than anything that a person could invent with his imagination; all existing theories are human inventions, while the truth is the thought of God himself.
In fact, every time we love someone very deeply, we create a mental image of them and they often appear in our minds. We take this image of a friend with us into, because in the natural order this image corresponds to the highest level of mental matter. The love that creates and maintains such an image is a powerful force - a force sufficient to affect the soul of the one we love. The soul of a friend responds to the impact of this force with the appropriate energy, and this energy fills the mental image that we have created, and thus our friend actually remains with us, and moreover, more directly than is possible in earthly life. Let us not forget that love is caused not by the body, but by the soul of a friend, but we have here with us the soul of a person. To this they may say: "yes, it could be so if the friend died, but suppose that he is still alive, and then his soul cannot be in two places at the same time." In fact, the soul can be in two places at the same time and even more than two; and the fact that our friend is alive or dead in our opinion does not make the slightest difference. Let us try to understand more clearly what the soul is in essence, and then we better understand the actual course of things.
The human soul belongs to a higher plane, it is something incomparably greater than all its manifestations. Its relation to its manifestations is the relation of one dimension to another; square to line or cube to square. No number of squares could make a cube, since a square has only two dimensions, while a cube has three. In the same way, no amount of manifestations on one of the lower planes is able to exhaust the fullness of the soul, which belongs to an absolutely different world. She puts a small part of herself into the physical body in order to gain an experience that is possible only on the physical plane; she can use only one such body at a time, because such is the law; but if she could use a thousand bodies, even then they would not be able to fully express her real essence. She can have only one physical body, but if she has managed to evoke such love in her friend that this friend has her image everywhere in front of him, then she can pour her own life into his mental image, revitalizing it to the degree of true expression of her own. essence on this high plane; the latter, as we know, exceeds the physical world by as much as two planes and therefore provides incomparably better conditions for the expression of spiritual qualities.
For someone who finds it difficult to imagine his consciousness being active simultaneously in different manifestations, it is useful to make a comparison with ordinary physical experience. Each of us, sitting in our chair, experiences several physical touches at the same time. He touches the seat of the chair, his feet touch the floor, his hands touch the arms of the chair, or perhaps hold a book; and yet it is not difficult for his brain to perceive all these contacts at the same time; why should it not be possible for a soul which is so much greater than its physical consciousness to be conscious at the same time of more than one manifestation on planes so much below its own level? We know that all these different contacts are actually experienced by the same person; and the same soul really feels all such mental images in the same way, and in all of them it is equally real, full of life and love. Here we have the most better side soul, for here it can express itself incomparably more fully than is possible for it under the most favorable conditions on the physical plane.
But can this affect the evolution of a friend? - they can ask me. Of course he can, because it gives him extra opportunity express yourself. If he lives in a physical body, he is already passing physical lessons but at the same time it will enable him to develop much more rapidly the faculty of love through the medium of that thought-image on the mental plane which the dead friend has created for him. Thus, the love of the latter does great good for him.
As we have already noted, the soul is able to manifest itself in many similarities that others have created for it. A person greatly loved by many people can participate in many celestial experiences at the same time and thus develop much faster; but this possibility is a direct consequence of those loving qualities which attracted the affection of many people to him. Thus, he not only enjoys the love of many, but thanks to this he himself grows in love, no matter whether his friends belong to the living or to the dead.
But it should be added that there are two limitations to such communication. First, the image of your friend that you have created may be imperfect - it may lack some of his higher properties, and then these properties will not be able to manifest through him. And secondly, the difficulty may arise from the side of the friend himself. Your idea of it may not be entirely correct; perhaps you have exaggerated it in some direction, in which case it will not be able to fill one of the aspects of your mental image with its content. But this is hardly acceptable and can only happen when an absolutely unworthy object is unreasonably deified. But even then the creator of the mental image will not feel a change in his friend, because it is incomparably easier for the latter to realize his ideal now than during the communication of both friends in the physical world. Not being perfect, he will still manifest better than he did on earth, and the joy of the one in heaven will not be clouded.
Your friend may imbue hundreds of his likenesses with the qualities he possesses, but if some quality is not developed in him, it cannot arise just because you attributed that quality to him. This is where great advantage people who create only images that are not capable of disappointing them, or rather, those that can rise above all the ideas created about them by the lower mind. The student who creates the image of his Teacher is aware that all dissimilarity will come from the imperfection of this image, for here he draws from such a depth of love and spiritual strength that he cannot measure with his mind.
But, it may be asked, since the soul spends so much time enjoying the bliss of the heavenly world, what is the possibility of its development during this stay? This possibility can be of three kinds, although each of them admits of many modifications.
First, thanks to certain inner qualities, man has opened certain windows to the heavenly world; by training in these qualities for so long, he will greatly enhance them and return in the next incarnation richly gifted on this side. All internal processes are intensified by their repetition, and a person who has exercised for long period- say, in selfless devotion - will learn at the end of this period to love strongly and completely.
Secondly, if his striving brings him into contact with one of the categories of spiritual beings of which there has been talk, he will inevitably gain much of value from intercourse with them. So, in music, he learns from them many overtones and variations, until then unknown to him; also in painting and in the plastic arts, he will learn what he had no idea on earth. All this newness will gradually be imprinted in him, and he will return from the heavenly world incomparably richer than he was before.
Third, he can learn new things with the help of those likenesses of beloved and revered people that he created. If these are people who are much higher than him in development, he can acquire a lot of new knowledge through them; the higher the being corresponding to such a mental image, the more new knowledge can be obtained through it.
But what matters most is the life of the soul itself in that imperishable body (causal, or causal), which it carries with it from life to life in an unchanged form, except for its natural evolution. When the celestial experiences come to an end, the mental body of man is shed in turn, as the two lower bodies were shed, and then life begins in the causal body. Now the soul does not need windows, for here is its homeland and here all the walls have collapsed before it.
Most people are deprived of almost all consciousness on this high plane: they rest in a state that can be compared to drowsiness, unable to perceive the life of this world too high for them, although the visions that flash before them are not a product of fantasies, but a phenomenon of this world; nevertheless, each time they return, their limitations will diminish, and the consciousness of this true life of the soul will be revealed to them more and more fully. At the same time, the duration of life in this high state will increase more and more in comparison with existence on the lower levels of being.
As a person grows up, he becomes able not only to receive, but also to give. He approaches the crown of human evolution more and more, he learns the lesson given by Christ, he recognizes the greatness and joy of sacrifice, he experiences the highest delight of pouring out his life to help others, giving his self to everyone, bringing all his enlightened forces to the aid of struggling humanity.
This is part of the life after death that awaits us; here before you are some of the rungs on the ladder of life, which we, who are at the very bottom of it, can still see, see how they rise to an unfathomable height, and having seen them, convey to you our vision, so that you too can open your eyes to that unfading the eternal light that surrounds us all, imprisoned in the darkness of everyday life.
