As a matter of fact, we are looking for the wire responsible for opening and closing doors according to the same principle. When the car door is open, the reading of the multimeter should be 12 V, and therefore, when closed door- equal to 0. The control wire for starting the motor is found by the same method. However, if a tachometer takes over this function in your car, then it will not be possible to test it in this way.
The alarm connection diagram provides for the connection of the control unit and the central locking of the vehicle. The best way to do this is by connecting to the lock enable relay. We will search for it by analogy with the previous steps.
Wiring
When laying the alarm wires, they should be assembled in the directions in bundles and wrapped with electrical tape. The insulating tape should not be very different from the factory insulation of the wires. This makes it much more difficult for hijackers to find wires to cut. In addition, the use of electrical tape serves as additional insulation for wires, increasing reliability. It is best to solder and insulate the wires to the connectors with heat shrink tubing, and then wrap with electrical tape. When connecting wires, you can use special clips, but their use significantly reduces the time it takes to identify the right wire for the hijacker. When routing wiring under the hood (connecting a limit switch and siren), route wires through existing wire harnesses to make them less visible.

Installing an alarm on a car also means blocking the engine in case of an unauthorized start of the car. Most often, the ignition switch connector is used for this. To determine the required connector, you need to ring the lock. The wire is selected, which has voltage when the key is in the "ON" position, and disappears in the "Start" position. To block the engine, remove the connector from the ignition switch and close this wire with a jumper to a constant plus, and the second jumper to a constant plus and the starter terminal. We are also looking for a wire to control the engine start. If in the car this function is performed by a tachometer, then it is impossible to "ring" it. Here it must be borne in mind that three wires come to the tachometer - this is a plus, a minus and a negative pulse signal. Lock connection
The next step in installing a car alarm with your own hands is connecting to the central lock. In order to do this, it is necessary to find the lock enable relay (check it by opening and closing the car lock), and carry out the same procedure as when connecting to the control panel.

The next step is to run the cable under the hood. Here we are talking about a positive alarm input (or rather, a siren) and a limit switch. A siren can be attached to the wires already passed through. As for the second cable of the signaling siren, it must be fixed to the ground. can be installed in a standard threaded hole using an M6 bolt. The end piece can be mounted on a standard frame. And you can install an additional panel for it. The plus must be connected to the wire, thanks to which plus 12 V is available in the lock in any position of the key.
Engine blocking
Most often, the engine of the car is blocked using an ignition wire that comes out of the lock itself. To find it, you need to ring the six-pin connector of the lock without removing it.
To connect, you need to find the wire at which there is a voltage of plus 12 V in the position of the key in the lock at the "ACC" mark, and when the key is turned to the Start mark, the plus disappears. This wire must be blocked.

To determine it correctly, you need to pull the connector out of the lock and close the constant plus with a jumper, and short the constant plus and the starter with the second jumper.
