Detailed instructions for the use of "Fitoverma" for plant protection. Biological product Fitoverm: instructions for use for indoor plants and in the garden for pest control in open and closed ground

Material prepared by: Yuri Zelikovich, teacher of the Department of Geoecology and Nature Management

The Fitoverm preparation has proven itself to be a simple and easy-to-use means of saving crops during pest invasions up to mass ones. Harvest not only ripening, but also the future: Fitoverm can be used to treat plants 1-3 days before flowers bloom and pollinators emerge. Fitoverm has the strongest effect on such difficult to eradicate and massive pests as aphids, thrips, spider mites, moth caterpillars and leafworms. In indoor plant growing, Fitoverm is suitable for nursing the most delicate plants. For example, expensive varieties of orchids can be bought at a big discount if they are clearly affected by a mealybug or scale insect or are suspicious of them. With the help of Fitoverm, such plants can be cured at home without being an experienced grower.

What is Fitoverm

Fitoverm is one of the biological products. Them distinguishing feature from pesticides - a delay in the action on the objects of elimination. Affected individuals continue to feed for 2-24 hours, and die 1-3 days after treatment. Therefore, in a neglected area and with attacks of voracious pests (locusts, etc.), biological products are not very effective: the pests will eat everything before they die. In such cases, you need to use insecticides such as "ambulance": strong, dangerous, but also instantly killing harmful objects, for example. Aktara. Especially for fruit trees And berry bushes when you need to save perennials waving his hand at crop losses. But Fitoverm stands out among biological products for a short time complete collapse: 24 hours in soil; maximum three days in plants. If the treatment with Fitoverm was carried out at a temperature above +15 degrees in the evening, then the day after tomorrow it is already possible to release bees.

Other features of Fitoverm - it is predominantly a contact poison; intestinal to a lesser extent and therefore its use is most effective against pests with thin covers, see above. Fitoverm has a rather long aftereffect on the affected objects: it remains in their bodies for 7-20 days. Surviving individuals reduce the intensity of feeding (and the harm they cause); their fertility also decreases. Further, Fitoverm acts the stronger, the higher the ambient temperature: if we take the action at +20 degrees as a standard, then when it drops to +15, the effect of the drug weakened three times. With an increase to +25, it increased by 1.5 times, and at +30 approx. 8 times. And finally, Fitoverm is subject to destructive action. sunlight and hydrolysis. In an environment with 100% humidity or in water, its decomposition is doubled.

  • A single treatment is not very effective, it is necessary to carry out repeated ones.
  • Processing should begin as soon as the first individuals of pests are noticed.
  • Treatment with Fitoverm is usually carried out in the evening in warm, dry weather.
  • The first application of Fitoverm to rid plants of pests before pollination can be done in the morning at the very beginning of the opening of the first buds. Then it will be possible not to be afraid that pollinators will die - Fitoverm is not very dangerous for bees. The second treatment to preserve the ovaries is carried out immediately after the flowering of the plants.

Formulas, action, modifications

The active ingredient Fitoverma refers to avermectins - substances produced by the fungus-actinomycete Streptomyces avermitilis. Avermectins are extracted from the mycelial mass of the fungus by ethanol (alcohol) extraction. The peculiarity of avermectins is a double nerve-paralytic effect on pests: they stimulate the release of γ-aminobutyric acid in neuronal synapses and at the same time block chloride transmission channels to dependent receptors. The chloride current in the nerves is disturbed and all nervous system goes into disarray. The process is rather slow, but the resistance (resistance) of pests to Fitoverm develops with great difficulty. In practice, Fitoverm can be regularly applied to plants for 5-6 years, without fear of breeding a resistant population of ate. And if this has arisen, it is enough for a year or two to switch to other pesticides so that the susceptibility of pests to Fitoverm is restored.

However, there is a very serious nuance in Fitoverm regarding the users' own safety: there are 2 series of modifications of avermectins, due to the so-called. spatial isomerism of molecules: Aij and Bij. In foreign preparations and domestic preparations from foreign raw materials, the active substance is Bij avermectins (on the left in the figure). Avermectins Bij are stronger, but more toxic (hazard class 2-3), accumulate in fruits and are approved for use in the EU only for inedible crops. However, "Euro-oriented" manufacturers do not hesitate to introduce them into the composition of widely advertised products for the garden and the city.

Note: the index ij in the names of avermectins denotes the type of metal Me and the organic radical R attached to the base molecule (core) of the substance. The ij index practically does not affect the consumer qualities of Fitoverm.

In the Russian Federation, only Fitoverm based on Aij avermectins is approved for use in individual households (in the center of the figure). It is produced by OOO NBC Pharmbiomed (right); it is extracted from the strains of the fungus-producer VNIISKhM-51 or VNIISKhM-54 bred in Russia. Fitoverm from Pharmbiomed can be safely used in a country house, garden plot or farm, while others (Letto, Plantafol, OptiRoza, Fitoverm from other manufacturers) are suitable only for inedible crops and indoor plants- they have a stronger effect on pests, but it is not recommended to use them for fruits and vegetables. By the way, the inexpensive Farmbiomedovsky Fitoverm perfectly helps against pests of open ground roses, see for example. video clip:

Release form

Fitoverm for indoor gardening is available in concentrated emulsion (EC) ampoules of 2 and 4 ml. For use on open ground in vials of 5, 10, 30, 50 ml of EC and 100, 200, 400 ml and in canisters of 5 liters of MP stock solution. For professional use- in the form of powder P. The content of the active substance EC - 2 or 10 g / l; MR - 2 g/l; P - 2 or 8 g / l. Formals MP 5 l and P are not used in individual farms. It is also undesirable to use MR, because. it is not stored in the opened package. Fitoverm EC can be taken from an unopened vial with a syringe in parts, piercing the cork with a needle, then the shelf life of the drug does not decrease. Fitoverm is stored and bred according to general rules for liquid biologics, see video:

Video: phytoverm breeding and storage rules

Note: Fitoverm's dosages typical schemes applications, incl. and in this article, are given based on the content of the active substance 2 g / l. If a drug of a different concentration is used, the dose must be recalculated for the same amount of water.

Precautionary measures

Fitoverm belongs to substances of the 3rd class of danger for humans and bees, but this is largely in order to "protect against a fool", incl. manufacturer. Fitoverm on avermectins Aij to the owner, who, as they say, is friends with his head, can be considered a substance of the 4th hazard class. Accordingly, PPE to work with it, you can use simplified ones:

  • on the face - a respirator-petal and glasses;
  • hands - latex gloves;
  • on the body - work clothes with long sleeves and trousers to the toes;
  • on the head - a headdress that completely hides the hair;
  • on feet - closed shoes.

Permissible working time with Fitoverm is 4 hours. Do not eat, drink, smoke or drink while working. working area outsiders. Signs of poisoning - nausea, feeling unwell. First aid measures - immediately stop work, pour activated carbon powder into a glass of water, drink. After 2-3 minutes, drink another 2-4 glasses of water and induce vomiting. After that, immediately consult a doctor.

Application

Fitoverm is applied by spraying according to the general rules (in the evening in quiet, warm, dry weather, not before rain). The norms and dosages of the drug are somewhat different for sporadic and weak or medium and strong pest infestation. In all cases, one must also take into account the strong dependence of the effect of the drug on temperature: the higher, the stronger the drug. For example, above +25 degrees with an average lesion, use the schemes for a weak one, and below +20 with an average or even sporadic lesion, use the schemes for a strong one.

Instructions for the use of Fitoverm in case of damage by pests up to and including the average is given in the table:

The actual purchase volume of the drug is determined as follows:

  • The volume of the working solution is determined by the size of the area to be processed.
  • According to the volume of the working solution, how much Fitoverma EC is needed in ml.
  • Vials or ampoules are purchased in the required quantity.
  • To prepare a working solution (see below), it is desirable to use a smaller number of packages with a higher concentration of CE.

Note: consumption of the working solution for pear tree the same as an apple tree. For plum, apricot and peach - 3 l / tree. For cherries and sweet cherries - 2 l / tree.

The norms and schemes for treating plants with Fitoverm in case of moderate and severe pest damage are shown in the following. tab. in fig.:

The area processed for each item is 1 sq. m. Fundamental difference from prev. schemes - less water; this reduces the hydrolysis of the active substance. The same schemes are used in areas less than 20 acres. Firstly, in this case, it is more convenient to calculate by the amount of water per ampoule; secondly, it is necessary to prevent the spread of the pest to neighboring plantations. From mass pests with more dense covers than aphids, the methods of use are somewhat different:

How to breed Fitoverm

Liquid Fitoverm KE is an aqueous emulsion. When preparing a working solution, firstly, it should not be allowed to delamination - the entire portion will immediately become unusable. Secondly, any emulsion causes increased wear of the sprayer. Thirdly, due to the susceptibility of the active substance to hydrolysis, Fitoverm's working solution is not stored - it must be used immediately after preparation. Therefore, you need to breed Fitoverm in this way:

  1. A possibly smaller number of packages of a larger volume and / or concentration is purchased.
  2. If more than one package was required for use, their contents are poured into one chemical neutral technological vessel (glass, polyethylene) immediately before the preparation of the working solution.
  3. Also, 0.25-1 l of water is poured into a neutral dish, depending on the amount of the working solution (approx. 1/5 of the required).
  4. Water is poured into the sprayer tank up to the volume of the working solution minus what is in those. crockery.
  5. Fitoverm KE or MP is poured in a thin stream with continuous stirring into those. dishes with water.
  6. The intermediate solution is also poured into the spray tank in a thin stream with stirring.
  7. The sprayer with a filled tank is shaken 2-4 times and immediately begin to work.

Note 5: food utensils cannot be used to prepare Fitoverm solutions. Technological for use must be washed with a solution baking soda 1 tsp on a glass, and after that big amount pure water.

Fitoverm for indoor plants

The usual schemes for the use of Fitoverm against pests of indoor plants such as scale insects and mealybugs are ineffective. Against them, you need to use a drug of 5-fold concentration (10 g / l, not 2 g / l). It will not harm the plants - Fitoverm's phytotoxicity is not marked. Treatment with Fitoverm indoor flowers is carried out as follows:

  • Affected plants are taken out in the summer to glazed balcony or to the loggia. In winter - in a separate room with a comfortable temperature for them.
  • Therapeutic treatments with Fitoverm are carried out every 3-4 days until the plants are free from pests. The consumption of the working solution is 100-200 ml per 1 sq. m of leaf area.
  • Immediately after each treatment, the room is tightly closed for a day.
  • After aging “for a couple”, the room is ventilated until the next treatment. In winter, they monitor the temperature in it so that it does not fall below the permissible value for these plants.
  • A week later and another week after the visible release from pests, preventive treatments are carried out, but already EC 2 g / l.

Storage and Compatibility

Fitoverm in unopened packaging is stored at a temperature of -15 to +30 degrees according to the usual rules for agricultural chemistry: in a non-residential area and out of the reach of children and animals. Food products must not be kept in the room where Fitoverm is stored.

Fitoverm is incompatible with other pesticides and fertilizers. You can apply them after Fitoverm after 3 days; in extreme cases - in a day. Fitoverm can be used after other agricultural chemicals after a period of time for acc. drugs. By default, no earlier than a week later.

Output

Fitoverm is an excellent plant protection product for inexperienced but caring gardeners and gardeners. The drug is slightly toxic, tolerates rather gross violations of the schemes of application. But in careful hands, Fitoverm is very effective. For example, currants in the hot and arid south of their cultivation zone are quite bad, but their pests are good. However, the correct use of Fitoverm even under these conditions makes it possible to achieve 100% destruction of currant pests and, accordingly, 0% crop losses.

For the treatment of indoor and garden plants from pests are often used folk methods And purchased funds. If in the first case the result is not so strong, then when using special insecticides, the death of insects is much more likely. The drug Fitoverm has earned its popularity not only due to the effect, but also due to the relatively mild effect on plants.

The drug is sold in the form of a concentrated liquid intended for spraying the aerial parts of the plant. Kills mites and many common pests. Does not pollute the soil and external environment decomposes quickly.

Fitoverm is used to combat the following categories:

  • ticks;
  • thrips;
  • caterpillars;
  • Colorado beetle;
  • scoops;

Due to the non-toxic composition, the drug can be used to treat indoor plants. Also, it is used for the treatment and prevention of pest damage on garden and horticultural crops.

Operating principle

"Fitoverm" refers to the so-called biologically active drugs. In its composition, aversectin is a substance of directed contact-intestinal action. When ingested by an insect, it has a neuroparalytic effect, which disrupts the digestive function. The pest stops eating after 6-15 hours, after three days it dies. Requires repeated application, because the eggs of harmful insects do not work.

The protective effect lasts from 5 to 15 days when used outdoors. After processing indoor plants, this period is 7-20 days.

Pros and cons of the tool

On sale you can find different volumes of ampoules (2, 4 and 5 ml) and vials (10-400 ml). for processing large-sized agricultural areas, packaging in 5-liter canisters is provided.

The advantages of the drug:

  1. A wide range of effects on various groups of insect pests.
  2. Natural and safe for humans.
  3. Does not render negative impact on plants.
  4. It quickly decomposes in the soil, leaving no harmful compounds.
  5. Not addictive even with repeated use.
  6. Depending on the cultivated area, you can purchase a suitable amount of funds.

Due to the rapid decay period, spraying can be carried out during the fruiting period, which distinguishes Fitoverm from other drugs. In addition, this tool shows the maximum effect in dry and hot weather, while many drugs do not work in such conditions. In addition to the unconditional advantages, the tool also has some disadvantages.

These include:

  1. More high price compared to chemical counterparts.
  2. The need for repeated processing for the complete destruction of pests.
  3. Incompatibility with other drugs.
  4. When processed during the flowering period, pollinating insects die.
  5. Unpleasant pungent odor of the prepared solution.
  6. Not effective in tillage.

The agent is extremely unstable to precipitation, therefore, when diluted, the use of an adhesive substance is required. Usually a soapy solution is used for these purposes. In addition, for spraying it is necessary to choose a day without the slightest precipitation, otherwise there will be no benefit from the treatment.

"Fitoverm" and "Fitoverm KE" - what is the difference?

There are several types of manufactured products under the Fitoverm brand. In particular, "Fitoverm KE" refers to the so-called insectoacaricides, which are more effective in relation to various types ticks. There is another type of drug - "Fitoverm P", designed to combat nematodes. Depending on the type and degree of damage by different types of pests, it is better to use highly specialized tools.

Instructions for use Fitoverm

Most often, the tool is used to destroy common pests of crops. Fitoverm showed a good effect when treated against aphids, from spider mite and even from colorado potato beetle. Due to the high concentration, the product is very economical, and detailed instructions on application for various pests and terms of use is given below.

Dosage of application for the treatment of plants in the open field:

Cultivated crops: Insect type: Dosage for solution preparation: Number of treatments per season: Frequency and features of application:

garden trees Fruit mites and spider mites Per liter of water - 1 ml 2 When pests appear, each plant is sprayed with an interval of 10-14 days.

Spraying is carried out in dry weather, for better adhesion add baby shampoo or solution laundry soap. Dew or precipitation will reduce the effectiveness of the product.

Treatment of indoor flowers with Fitoverm is carried out throughout the season when pests are found on the leaves and branches of plants. The maximum frequency of treatments is 4 times a year.

The solution is used immediately after preparation, otherwise there will be no effect. Disposal of unused product is carried out into the sewer, in open water it can lead to the death of fish.

For this, the following dosages are used:

  1. To protect against aphids, dilute 8 ml per liter of solution. Spray at weekly intervals, using 100 ml per plant.
  2. From a spider mite solution with a concentration of 10 ml per liter of water. Processing is carried out with an interval of 7-10 days. Consumption from 100 to 200 ml per plant.
  3. To destroy thrips, it is necessary to treat with a solution of 10 ml per liter of water. Repeated spraying after a week, consumption from 100 to 200 ml per plant.

When working, extreme caution should be exercised. Keep the ampoules out of the reach of children. The dosage of the drug can be adjusted using a conventional syringe. In case of contact with skin or mucous membranes, rinse with warm running water.

For indoor plants, if necessary, disinfect the soil in a pot. To do this, the plant is placed in the prepared solution (4 ml per liter of water) for 20-30 minutes. Floating pests are destroyed, the soil is dried.

Processing of the aerial parts of indoor plants is best done in non-residential premises or on fresh air be sure to use a protective mask and gloves. After spraying, you can not put the plant in the sun, otherwise spots may appear on the leaves. The plant is best left for a while outside the living quarters.

"Fitoverm" is a biologically active drug, often used in the fight against pests. Its effectiveness is shown in relation to different types mites, aphids and other garden pests. Features of the application are discussed in our information.

If you are looking for a drug that is safe for environment and effective for combating harmful insects - pay attention to Fitoverm. He has proven himself with positive side and became indispensable assistant gardeners and horticulturists.

Characteristics of Fitoverm

Fitoverm is a biological pesticide

Fitoverm is a biological pesticide aimed at protecting crops from ticks and insect pests.

  • Active substance. The main active ingredient is aversectin (Aversectin) - directed contact-intestinal action. Aversectin, getting into the stomach of the pest, has a nerve-paralytic effect. Insects cannot eat and die from this. The substance does not have a detrimental effect on insect eggs, therefore, repeated spraying is required, taking into account the release of new individuals.
  • Compatibility."Fitoverm" is not compatible with pesticides. It must not be mixed with other insect and plant disease control agents. If, in addition to the invasion of pests, the plant has been infected with viruses or spores of diseases, it is first treated with one drug (for diseases), and then sprayed with Fitoverm, or vice versa
  • Pest control speed. After treatment, insects become paralyzed, after 8 hours they stop feeding. They begin to die on the third day, stronger individuals can last up to 6 days.
  • Protective period. If the treatment is carried out in a protected ground (greenhouses, greenhouses, house plants), the period of protective action lasts up to 20 days. When processing landscape gardening and horticultural crops in open areas, plant protection depends on various factors A: increased air humidity, fog, rain, dew, and lasts from 6 to 20 days.

Attention. The drug "Fitoverm" is not absorbed by the roots and is intended only for spraying plants.

In order for indoor plants to please with their beauty, people must take care of their health. Fitoverm is intended for treatment of leaves and flowers where pests have appeared. These are effective insecticides and acaricides that are suitable for use in open and closed type soil. Many people have already been able to appreciate all the benefits of this tool.

Features of the drug Fitoverm

Fitoverm is a modern insectoacaricide, characterized by contact-intestinal spectrum of action. It is thanks to this that the tool can be used against various types of insects and mites. The active substance after processing quickly penetrates through skin insects and into the gastrointestinal tract when eating leaves.

The main active ingredient is Aversectin C, which causes paralysis in animals. After applying this product, pests lose their ability to feed 7-8 hours after treatment. AND they're dead in two days.. Insecticide Fitoverm decomposes inside the soil a month after treatment, and on the surface of plants after three days. This preparation can be used even during the flowering of plants.

It is important to note that due to the rapid destruction of the main component, plants should be sprayed as needed. After the first treatment, only adults die, but the larvae, nymphs and pupae will remain on the leaves. When they begin to feed on their own, you will need to re-spray. Such a tool is often bought for treatment against whiteflies, mites, aphids and other pests.

Fitoverm is effective drug fourth generation, which is distinguished by biological action. It was created on the basis of metabolic products of soil microorganisms, so it is practically safe, unlike others. chemicals. During processing, people need to follow basic safety rules - avoid contact with the skin and mucous membranes. Before use, it is important to read the instructions and familiarize yourself with the dosage of the drug.

The scope of the drug Fitoverm

  • thrips;
  • stalk;
  • plant mite;
  • moth;
  • leaf roller;
  • whitefly;
  • mealybug;
  • scab.

Each person should remember that some insects and pests get used to the components of the drug, so its effectiveness with prolonged use may decrease.

How to handle crops and plants?

It is necessary to prepare a working solution before processing cultures. Dilute the drug in a container that is not intended for cooking. After use, wash the container thoroughly. Experts recommend using disposable tableware and choosing the right weather for spraying.

Processing is not carried out on rainy days or when high humidity air. Optimal Level The air temperature ranges from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius. It is best to spray plants with a spray bottle. During operation, it is necessary to control the uniform distribution of the product. Such treatment can be carried out on abundantly vegetative plants.

The leaves of indoor plants should be thoroughly wiped with the prepared solution on each side. If the product is not completely used up, then the remains can be poured onto the soil in a pot. This is due to the fact that when spraying solution indoors. vapors or splashes may be inhaled. You need to use Fitoverm at least four times, with a break of 7-8 days.

Precautionary measures

Each person, when working with this drug, must observe several important recommendations. You need to spray plants in special equipment. The worker needs to wear goggles to protect the eyeball, a mask, gloves and clothing that covers the body. After completion of the procedure, it is important to carefully wash hands and face with soap and also take a shower.

Advantages and disadvantages of Fitoverm

The main advantage of Fitoverm is its low danger to humans. The following advantages can be distinguished:

  • minimal phytotoxicity (the drug is safe for plants and flowers);
  • fast decomposition;
  • effective disposal of plant mites;
  • action even at high temperature;
  • plants can be treated even during the flowering period.

After spraying, you can eat fruits and vegetables after 4 days. That is why many people use this tool to process tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers, green crops, early and cauliflower, peppers.

Fitoverm effectively copes with the destruction of insects that gnaw on leaves. These include codling moths, scoops, leafworms, whites, moths, aphids, thrips, and spider mites. This tool also has several disadvantages:

  • need to carry out frequent and thorough processing;
  • low efficiency in rainy weather;
  • it is forbidden to mix Fitoverm with other drugs;
  • insufficient moistening of the surface of flowers and leaves;
  • high cost of funds.

To leaves and flowers well wetted with insecticide, experts recommend mixing it with soap foam, shampoo or other cleanser.

How to breed and consumption rates

To dilute the drug, take a bucket with a capacity of 10 liters, pour half the water and pour out the Fitoverm ampoule. The solution must be thoroughly mixed and water is added to the required volume. When processing indoor plants, the following rules must be observed:

  • to get rid of the spider mite, take 2 ml of the product and dilute it in 0.5 liters. water;
  • destruction of aphids and trips - 5 ml per 0.6 liters of water;
  • after 7-8 days, the houseplants are re-treated.

If pests reappear or show signs of life after spraying, it is necessary to change the drug. It is important to note that detailed instructions for diluting and using the drug are attached to each ampoule. Recommended dosages for dilution have been obtained empirically, so these recommendations should be strictly adhered to.

Processing of indoor plants

The drug Fitoverm is widely used for the treatment of indoor plants. This tool does not have a pronounced and pungent odor, so it can be sprayed indoors. Manufacturers also took care of convenient packaging - these are single ampoules with a volume of 2 ml. They are suitable for processing at any time of the year.

This is a unique plant, which is famous for its beauty and unusualness. Most often, the flower is located on the windowsills, and pests actively settle on the roots and leaves. The orchid must be treated from thrips, nematodes, ticks, mealybugs, as well as shields. To obtain the finished solution, take 2 ml of the product and 50 ml of water.

There are situations when pests settle in the root part, therefore, to destroy them, a flower with a pot is immersed in water room temperature for 30 minutes. Adults quickly emerge, so they need to be collected and be sure to destroy. Further, the plant is dried, pulled out of the pot and treated with the drug.

If pests live on the leaves and stems of an orchid, then they need to be washed every day for a week with a prepared solution. In case of repeated infection with pests, the treatment is repeated.

Fitoverm for violets

Violets are beautiful plants that make people happy lush flowers. On their leaves, pests reproduce imperceptibly, because they hide securely inside rosettes. After processing, the flowers are not placed in the light and the sun until completely dry. If you do not follow this rule, then ugly yellow spots will appear on the surface of the leaves. On violets spider mite breeds, thrips and whitefly. During processing, avoid getting the solution on the flowers so as not to spoil them.

I live in a private house and grow flowers, plants and trees. I have repeatedly had to do processing for the destruction of pests. I recently bought Fitoverm on the advice of my neighbor and was pleasantly surprised by the result. Now I recommend other people to buy this tool for their garden and home. It is convenient for them to process crops, whiteflies and mites are quickly destroyed, good composition and minimum cost.

If you are looking for effective drug for the treatment of house plants or trees in the garden, then be sure to buy Fitoverm. I never write reviews, but I would like to write a few lines about this tool. Everyone in our family loves to eat vegetables and grow cultivated plants on the windowsill. But even at home, pests and insects appear on the leaves. We have tried many different drugs and biological poisons, but only Fitoverm helps us get a good harvest.
