Schoolchild's corner in Khrushchev. Simple solutions for a nursery in Khrushchev for one or two children. Classic as a style option in the nursery

Every person dreams of their own cozy corner, where they can escape from the outside world, immersing themselves in favorite hobby. And children are no exception. Ideal option to accommodate two children there were and will be separate rooms for each of them. However, most often it turns out that they have to live in the same room. The task becomes more complicated if a small nursery for two children is intended for children of different genders or ages. Parents will have to seriously think about how to arrange the room so that none of the family members feel left out.

When planning renovations in a small nursery, you should take into account the features of the room (area, ceiling height, window size, etc.). And if possible, increase it: a few extra squares will allow you to implement large quantity ideas.

There are several rules that must be followed when decorating a room in a Khrushchev-era building:

  • Do not force unnecessary furniture and decorative elements(especially if we are talking about a small room with an area of 3x3 or 3x4 square meters);
  • Choose a non-accessible room for arranging the nursery (extra doors interfere with the comfortable placement of furniture);
  • Be sure to divide the room by designing areas for sleeping, studying, entertainment and storing things.

The task is simplified if the layout of the apartment includes a small storage room. In such a room you can equip a functional place for storing clothes and toys, dividing the room space into sleeping and playing areas.

For a small room you should choose high-quality coatings and functional pieces of furniture. It is necessary to think about the main color of the room and various accents: correctly selected shades can change the room beyond recognition.

Children's room in Khrushchev for two children: choosing a color scheme and finishing materials

The design of a room for two children should be made in light colors. For girls' bedroom you can use pink, lilac, olive color; Guys' children's room should be decorated in blue, green or metallic shades.

When arranging a room for children of different sexes, you should choose neutral tones (beige, white). Boys' and girls' zones can be separated using decorative elements appropriate to their age and hobbies.

It is not necessary to decorate the room in one color; you can use several shades. The main thing is that the selected tones harmoniously complement each other. For the nursery, you can use both paint and thick wallpaper. In the second case, it is better to choose a finish with horizontal stripes to visually enlarge the space. For the same purpose, one of the walls should be decorated with photo wallpaper: a photograph of the sea coast or beautiful view from the window.

To finish the floor in the nursery, it is better to use durable materials:

  • Parquet board;
  • Linoleum;
  • Cork covering.

The children's interior can be complemented with light tulle with an unobtrusive universal pattern. Blackout curtains not suitable for small rooms. The carpet (if there is one) should not occupy the entire space: it is better to place a small covering near the sleeping area or in the play area.

Layout of a children's room for girls or boys: ideas for accommodating same-sex children

Decorating a nursery for two children of the same sex is much easier than decorating a room for a boy and a girl. Interests and color preferences in such children (especially in the period from 4 to 10 years) they often coincide. In this case, the main task is to select furniture that will be comfortable and functional for each child.

For children you can purchase:

  • Two regular beds (for a medium-sized room);
  • Couches with drawers(additional storage space will never be superfluous);
  • Double design with a retractable tier (ideally fits into a small square room);
  • Two-tier model;
  • Loft bed with sleeping area and work area (two separate structures according to the number of children).

You should not buy two-tier structures for children who are three to five years old. It is recommended to use these models no earlier than school age.

Modern functional solution– installation of a wall with pull-out beds. This design is a wide podium (or island) with built-in beds that roll out and slide back in as needed. Top part the walls can be designed as work zone(tables, cabinets, etc.) or as a playground (free space with a minimum amount of furniture). This design allows you to solve real problems with lack of space.

How to furnish a children's room for a girl and a boy of the same age

The main principle that should be followed when arranging a room for children of different sexes is to allocate personal space for each of them. Children should realize from childhood that there are certain differences between them. Therefore, the use of beds with pull-out tiers, in which children sleep very close, is not permissible in this case.

The ideal option is to install two single beds about opposite walls rooms. It is advisable that each of them be covered with a small screen. This way it will be possible to create an area in which the child can do purely personal matters, for example, changing clothes.

It is also permissible to use multi-storey structures:

  • Bunk bed (decorated with curtains);
  • Two loft beds.

When planning a storage system, it is worth considering how many things each child has. The principle of equal division in this case does not need to be observed: the girl may need more space to hang her many outfits. It is mandatory to have two work areas.

Room for a 5-year-old girl and a 12-year-old teenager: a solution for children of different ages

Placing children of different ages in one room is the most difficult task. With such significant differences in interests and lifestyle, finding a compromise is impossible. In this case, the only solution is to physically separate the room.

In the nursery it is necessary to install additional wall, which will divide the space into two parts. If the area of the room does not allow the installation of such a structure, you can zone the room using thick fabric, which will be delayed as needed.

The separation structure occupies sufficient quantity place, which small room Hardly ever. Therefore, the furniture in such a nursery should be as compact and functional as possible. For the child's area preschool age you can buy a couch with roll-out shelves, a small chest of drawers and drawers for storing toys. A loft bed with a work area or various retractable structures(chair-bed, folding sofa, etc.).

How to furnish a nursery in a Khrushchev building (video instructions)

Use of modern design solutions allows you to comfortably furnish even a small room for several children. The main thing in this matter is the manifestation of imagination and readiness for non-standard methods. Thanks to the right combination of colors, light and furniture, you can create perfect interior, in which each of the children will be able to relax, study and go about their business with comfort and pleasure.

I am writing a continuation of my memories of our beloved apartment.

The other day I showed you the kitchen.

Today I'll show you the nursery.
In general, the task was to place two different-sex, already grown-up children in corner room area 11 sq. meters. It turned out... Well, that's how it turned out.

For reasons of practicality, paint was chosen to decorate the walls rather than wallpaper. You can wash it and paint it, if necessary. Two walls (with windows) are painted in Blue colour, two - in green. During the renovation process, my relatives were very skeptical about this choice (by the way, we chose the paint together with our son; it’s good that we didn’t have a daughter, otherwise everything would have been pink and gold). After the room was filled with furniture, everyone really enjoyed it.

The ceiling is plasterboard, because... the difference between the slabs was up to 6 cm. The stretch ceiling was swept away immediately, because... a bunk bed was planned, and the children would really like the proximity of the material in which they could pick something. So, drywall. By the way, the electrical wiring was successfully hidden behind it.

Instead of ceiling plinth used mirror mosaic purchased from an online store for creativity.
All the furniture is my favorite IKEA.

View from the entrance

In the coldest corner, opposite the entrance, there was a corner closet. Its side walls are only 35 cm (well, why did IKEA stop producing corner cabinets 50 cm deep?). I had to use furniture panels as pads to make the cabinet sit flush with the tables. It turned out that behind the cabinet there was a fairly large storage space. I couldn't let him go to waste. Therefore, cutouts were made in the chipboard overhead so that it was not visible behind the tables, and all sorts of rubbish, such as skis, remnants of laminate and other necessary and unnecessary things, were hidden in the resulting space. The tables are very light and can be pulled out easily. The cabinet door is mirrored, the walls are also decorated with mirrors (although I never finished the decoration completely). To the left of the closet - workplace son, on the right is the daughter’s workplace.

Daughter's workplace. View from the bed.

The daughter’s workplace is located in front of the window, there is a radiator below the table, which is not very convenient, but somehow they adapted to regulate it so that it was neither hot nor cold.

Daughter's workplace and window rack

The corner closet blocked a small part of the window; the BILLY bookcase fit perfectly into the resulting niche, right on the windowsill. (This window sash turned out to be blind, very conveniently).

Daughter's workplace on the right

To the right of the daughter’s desk there was a tall column of BESTÅ cabinets, 30 cm wide and 40 cm deep. The column was also “grown” to the wall. furniture board, which made it possible to very successfully hide the heating riser.
This is how the storage of linen, etc. is organized in the lockers.

If there were just shelves, it would be a mess. And with the boxes everything is nice and neat. By the way, I couldn’t find any suitable sized boxes at IKEA. Therefore, boxes of cosmetics from one chain brand were taken and covered with wallpaper that was lying around for painting. Improvised stickers help you avoid getting lost in boxes and allow you to put things back in their place.

My son’s workplace is a little larger than my daughter’s because of the additional cabinet on wheels. Tables and cabinet - IKEA MIKKE series. Very compact and light, but not durable. The tabletop is made of some kind of honeycomb material that is not very impact resistant. One day, the subwoofer (who was wearing glasses and headphones) fell off the shelf and punched a hole in the countertop. My son covered the hole with a sticker. And the subwoofer has been living on the table ever since.

And the view above the table

Next to the table is another window.

On the window (besides the beast, you can’t live without it!) there is an old TV (behind the curtain). I couldn’t decide whether it was needed or not, so I never exchanged it for another one.
The bunk bed was not invented because of a good life.
Here she is.

The daughter sleeps above, the son below. At the head of each room there are lamps and sockets: for the daughter for a night light, for the son for charging gadgets. All curtains, if necessary, can be completely moved into the corner by the window.

more photos of the bed

Under the bed there are boxes with toys.

toy boxes under the bed

Separately, I would like to say about the floor... I don’t like it... Well, not at all... It’s a laminate with an imitation of old boards from boxes. I would probably choose birch. But of the budget floors at that time, only this one was the lightest. And my husband likes it.
To the left of the bed there is a storage system made of BESTÅ cabinets 30 cm wide and 40 cm deep.

In the niche formed by the cabinets, there was a place to sit, watch TV, or for parents to read a bedtime story (even though the children are older, they still love fairy tales)

FOR LITTLE CHILDREN

If your baby is only 2-3 years old, then such a room should be as spacious as possible, have a soft floor and everything that is needed for the child’s development - big ball, paper with pencils, a lot of toys.

And for this you will need to select necessary furniture. This could be a soft small sofa, a toy storage system, a crib, a block with creative supplies

PRESCHOOL AGE

By the age of 6 years, a child already needs more function room. A good option is to use various characters from your child’s favorite cartoons to create a more colorful room design.

School age

For children up to about 13 years of age, a workplace for study will also be required. But don't forget about interesting things, since the child does not need to suddenly change the environment.

Give the child the opportunity to develop during this period and bring his ideas and interests to life. To do this, you can make a large stand where the child can hang various drawings, beadwork, and cardboard crafts.

Design of a small nursery: room for a girl 12 sq.m.

A room area of 12 m² is considered small, and the design of such a space has its own characteristics. Furniture should be selected only that is functional - it will not be possible to place many objects in the room, otherwise it will clutter up all the free space. In addition, it is necessary to use visual enlargement techniques, such as:

placement of a large wall mirror or a wardrobe with mirrored doors. The technique will help to visually expand the boundaries of the room. Not recommended for installation in the room of a child under 10 years old;

usage light colors– beige, cream, milky. This will visually make the room larger and brighter. White furniture for a children's room for a girl it will look impressive against the background of a more dark walls, for example, coffee or peach color;
installation of diverse and multi-level lighting. This technique will allow you to delimit the space into zones and make them visually more voluminous;

usage light curtains and sheer tulle curtains. This will help let more sunlight into the room;

glossy installation stretch ceiling, which will visually pull the room up;
arrangement of niches with LED backlight. The reception will visually expand the walls, which is especially important when planning a design for a narrow children's room. The girl can independently choose the color of the RGB tape, depending on her preferences.

Design, options and photos of a children's room for a girl 17 sq.m.

A room of 17 m² is quite enough to implement all the ideas of a design project for a children’s room for a girl. The main advantage of a spacious area is the possibility of rational zoning and free arrangement of furniture in the children's room. For example, between the day and night zones you can install a plasterboard partition - with through shelves and LED lighting.

  • Furniture can be larger and, therefore, more comfortable. There is room for a sports wall, a chest of drawers with a mirror, an additional chair, an aquarium, etc.
  • An important advantage of a spacious room is the ability to adhere to a certain chosen design style, which is very difficult in conditions of limited space.

Small children's room: photo of a room for a girl in Khrushchev

A distinctive feature of the rooms in Khrushchev is their small size and long elongated shape. You can visually expand the space using the techniques described above, plus use the following additional recommendations:

  • move the doorway (as a rule, in Khrushchev-era buildings it is located opposite the window), which will provide more extensive opportunities for organizing space;
  • Cover short walls with wallpaper with horizontal stripes, which will visually expand the room. The same applies to carpet flooring when stripes of color are placed parallel to the window, and the laminate is laid not along, but across the room;
  • Cover a long wall with photo wallpaper with a 3D effect, for example with a view of nature, a waterfall, mountain tops, or the sea.

Pink color in a children's room for girls

Despite the fact that adults have long been tired of stereotypes and the division of colors depending on the gender of the child, many girls really like pink color, and they happily want to see it in the decoration of their room. For girls 11 years and older, more acidic variations of this color are suitable.

Pink comes in many shades and goes well with many other colors. The pink and white combination will bring lightness and tenderness to the interior. You can add a dark gray shade or light wood to this composition. Experts do not recommend using more than three colors in the design of one room.

Layout of a small children's room - 15 square meters

The layout of a children's room is complicated by the fact that the room simultaneously plays the role of a place to sleep, a study corner, and a play area. Therefore, it is necessary to choose wisely color scheme and properly zone the space. The bedroom should remain a sphere of comfort and safety, and the study space should concentrate attention on classes. It is difficult to implement this task for a small room of 15 square meters, but simple recommendations will allow you to create a great design.

When thinking about renovating a nursery with an area of 15 square meters, you need to pay attention Special attention arrangement of furniture. For one child, this space is quite enough for comfortable life– it’s easy to arrange everything you need. It is much more difficult to arrange 15 meters to meet the needs of two children.

Do you need a successful layout for a children's room of 15 square meters? Create a design with an easy forecast for the future. It's unlikely you will do new renovation every year, let alone purchase new furniture! Considering the prices for quality products, it is better to initially buy furnishings “to grow into.”

Even if the child still goes to kindergarten, it is better to buy a full-fledged single bed (60 centimeters by 2 meters) - the purchase will fully justify itself. Are you worried that your baby will feel uncomfortable in a big bed? Just visually reduce its size by decorative pillows or rollers under the head, laid out on both sides.

It is also worth purchasing full-sized cabinets, bedside tables, and shelving and choosing the most suitable places for them. On shelves located within the child’s reach, you need to place his personal belongings - clothes, toys, books. Use inaccessible areas to store seasonal items (for example, winter clothes), bedding, rarely used games. Before ordering furniture, you should make sure several times that it will not clutter up a 15-meter room too much.

Successful layout, pleasing two children. To make a medium-sized room visually large will help:

Refusal of standard doors.

Swinging doors take up space and are completely unnecessary in a nursery. It’s still too early for children under 12 years of age to close themselves tightly, so an excellent alternative would be sliding doors(direct to Japanese style or accordion in European). Before purchasing, make sure that the doors do not make sharp sounds if you do not want to disturb your baby’s sleep every time.

Moderate amount of furniture.
A room filled with large furniture around its entire perimeter will never feel large. Use built-in wardrobes, transformable furniture, unusual storage spaces (a podium under the bed or work area), to store things.

Lay down a small rug.
The sisters’ room, like the two boys’ room, will rarely be perfectly clean. It is wise to leave the main part of the floor open and cover it with strong linoleum or warm laminate. But active games require a more comfortable space. An excellent solution would be a small colored rug that can be easily placed in washing machine. In addition to the main function (game), it will benefit a small room - visually increasing the space.

In order to get a stylish, comfortable nursery for two children from a small room in a Khrushchev-era building after renovation, you need to follow some simple rules.

Design solutions for rooms with limited space allow you not only to visually expand it, but also to make the most of every centimeter of space. Main:

  1. Do not crowd the room (do not put another chair or armchair in an empty space). And each thing should have its own place for storage. This has big advantage, especially for boys, this way they will learn order faster. Girls are naturally more careful.
  2. Choose a non-passage room for the children's room.
  3. Zoning must be carried out with the allocation of a sleeping area, a workplace, and a play area.

In addition, as in any room, when renovating a nursery in a Khrushchev-era building for two children, high-quality materials must be used and the right color schemes must be chosen.

The design of a small room should be dominated by light, airy shades. So, cream, white, lilac, pink are suitable for a girl’s interior, and blue, beige, light green are suitable for a boy’s interior. These colors are pleasing to the eye and have a positive influence on psycho-emotional state child.

It is not necessary to decorate the room in one color. When renovating, you can use the option of combining wallpaper. On one of the walls, the selected shade should be a tone lower, darker than the main one. There are no restrictions on experiments; zoning can be done not only by different light colors, but also with the help of materials of different textures.

A design technique like this will help to visually increase the height of a room. vertical stripes on one of the walls (most often near the bed). You can also achieve this effect if you decorate the ceiling with white or several tones lighter than the shade on the walls.

Curtains in the nursery should be made of light, lightweight fabric. Heavy ones are not suitable for small rooms. Girls prefer curtains with floral patterns, abstract patterns, or romantic style. Boys are interested in prints on space, sports, and geographical themes. The main thing is to pay attention so that the design on the textiles does not make the room visually even smaller. A win-win in the nursery for children of different sexes - these are plain neutral curtains.

For the floor it is preferable to use laminate, parquet board or linoleum. Materials must be light in color.

When arranging a small room in a Khrushchev-era building for two children, furniture must be chosen taking into account gender, age and their preferences. Therefore, you can discuss the following options with them:

  • Since there is not enough space for ordinary ones, a bunk bed will come in handy. The sleeping places in it are located one above the other, or offset. For boys, you can choose a bed with a ladder to the upper tier, for girls - with steps. Before purchasing, it is necessary to carry out educational work with children in terms of safety. This is especially true for boys, because from the second tier there may be a desire to jump, because it is much faster and more interesting than using a ladder.
  • If space allows, you can fit two loft beds with a sleeping area on top and a work area below. This option will be more to the liking of parents of children of different sexes. Everyone will have their own personal space. Thus, renovation and a competent approach to choosing furniture, even for two children, will help create a comfortable corner for each child in a Khrushchev-era building.

The main thing is to pay attention to the location desks under the bed from a medical point of view. The desktop must be accessible to daylight. Some models have solid partitions on the sides, which ensures constant use table lamp from lack of light.

  • A chest of drawers with two sleeping places, where one can be pulled out from under the other. And on the third tier there can be drawers. It should be taken into account that the second tier of the bed will have to be pulled in for the whole day each time, which is problematic if its owner suddenly wants to lie down during the day.

To allocate, albeit small, but personal space in a room for two children of the same sex, where a bunk bed is common, a desk is common, bedside tables or hanging shelves separate for each child will help.

It is best to use a built-in wardrobe as a closet. And make it up to the ceiling to make the most of the entire space. At your discretion, you can choose it with mirrored doors or with one; this is also one of the techniques for visually enlarging a room. Although in a room where there are two boys, and therefore active games, it is not worth using.

As you can see, even in a small room, with the help of modern design proposals, your imagination and creative inspiration, you can create a cozy and practical nursery for two children.

Reading time ≈ 3 minutes

Khrushchev has one thing positive quality: This is separate housing, which is much better than a room in a communal apartment or dormitory. This is where the advantages, especially in comparison with spacious apartments in new buildings, end. Once upon a time, Khrushchev buildings were built as a temporary shelter, but they still stand safely today. The children's room in them is tiny, 5-7 meters and looks more like a storage room. Parents, on the eve of a nursery renovation, are usually in shock, believing that they won’t be able to make anything worthwhile out of this “pencil case.”

The decoration of the room affects psychological condition child. We must try to make the children's room in Khrushchev evoke positive emotions from his young master. The main thing is that the child will have his own personal space, a place where he can retire, where he can invite guests. The room should be comfortable, convenient, cozy, practical and beautiful. And rest assured, the children's room in the Khrushchev building will accommodate everything you need: computer desk, bed, wardrobe, even a place to rest.

Only environmentally friendly materials are chosen for finishing, this is clear to every parent. Cool shades - right choice. With them, the room will seem a little more spacious, wider and even taller. Light green, blue, pink, lilac come to the rescue, beige colors. You can see a photo of a children's room in Khrushchev in the article. Accessories, minor parts can be made in bright colors. They will give the room a cheerful look, becoming expressive touches that will create a joyful atmosphere.

A built-in closet up to the ceiling will save space, and you can fit a lot of things in it. Racks and shelves for books will not clutter up the space and will give it airiness and lightness. The interior of a children's room in Khrushchev will only benefit if the work area is designed near the window; there is enough light here. You will have to install a plastic window to prevent drafts from moving around the room. An extended window sill will be an excellent replacement for a desk.

A regular bed won't do. In a tiny room you need sleeping area with drawers, or on a podium. Very convenient to put in boxes bed sheets, toys, books, other things. When thinking about renovating a nursery in a Khrushchev-era building, pay attention to solving these issues. A loft bed is another good way out. The upper tier occupies a sleeping area; a play or work area can be located under it.

With the right approach, you can allocate a place for a nursery in one-room Khrushchev house. As they say, meager square meters not a vice, but room for imagination. A partition will divide the room into two. It’s good if each has a window, otherwise parents will have to be content with artificial
